One last thing before I quit
I never wanted any more than I could fit
Into my head I still remember every single word
You said and all the **** that somehow came along with it
Still there's one thing that comforts me since I was
Always caged and now I'm free...
I never wanted any more than I could fit
Into my head I still remember every single word
You said and all the **** that somehow came along with it
Still there's one thing that comforts me since I was
Always caged and now I'm free...
The track then changes...
And I wonder
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when
She sang...
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again
The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when
She sang...
The track changes again...
It was meant to be
But all along it never meant a thing
Never stopped to ask you why
You didn't pass me by
Did you see me in your life?
Flash before your eyes
Was it just that I wasn't hard enough
Hard enough for you
Stop using my
Confusion
Wait, wait
But all along it never meant a thing
Never stopped to ask you why
You didn't pass me by
Did you see me in your life?
Flash before your eyes
Was it just that I wasn't hard enough
Hard enough for you
Stop using my
Confusion
Wait, wait
Joe Everyman: Scotty, stop changing the ****ing tracks!
The scene then opens up inside of Joe's familiar dark blue Escalade. The scenery outside screams Montana, but no signs can be seen nearby.
Scotty Callaway: Fine, fine...so Joe...where exactly the hell are we?
Joe Everyman: I would assume we're almost back across the border. But, honestly, I have no idea.
Scotty Callaway: So...we're lost?
Joe Everyman: Um...yes.
Scotty Callaway: Son of a b...can you at least turn up the heat? I hate the fact that it's cold in here and that it's cold outside.
Joe then reaches up and turns up the heat so it's not so COLD inside the vehicle.
Joe Everyman: Is that better?
Scotty Callaway: Yes, much better...now it's not so cold in here.
They continue driving up the road a ways and see a smoking van on the right side of the road.
Joe Everyman: What the hell?
Scotty Callaway: Um...do you think we should pull over and help them?
Joe Everyman: I think we should.
Joe then pulls the vehicle over behind the van. They can see two men standing in front of the van. As soon as Joe stops, he opens his window and yells out towards them.
Joe Everyman: Hey! Do you guys needs a ride?
Unknown Guy: Um, sure!
The two men walk up to the Escalade and get into the back. Joe turns down the radio but one of the men speaks up.
Unknown Guy: Hey, I liked that song.
Scotty Callaway: I know that voice...
Joe and Scotty look into the backseat, and sitting there is David Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the band Foo Fighters.
Joe Everyman & Scotty Callaway: HOLY ****!
David Grohl: Oh come on now, no need to freak out.
Joe and Scotty are visibly marking out for their favorite band.
Scotty Callaway: Oh my god...
Joe Everyman: Oh...my...god...
Taylor Hawkins: Maybe we should wait for another ride...
Joe Everyman: No! We're going.
Joe then pulls off into the road and starts driving north again.
David Grohl: So, who are you guys anyway?
Joe Everyman: I'm Joe, that's Scotty. We're professional wrestlers.
Taylor Hawkins: Seriously?
Scotty Callaway: Yeah...we've been doing it for a while. We even both use your songs for our themes.
David Grohl: Which ones?
Joe Everyman: The Pretender for me and Learn to Fly for Scotty.
David Grohl: Oh, so you guys were the fans who wanted the copyrights to those songs?
Scotty Callaway: Yeah, exactly.
Taylor Hawkins: It is just me, or is it cold...back here?
Joe then turns on the rear heaters too.
Taylor Hawkins: Oh thanks...so, where are you guys heading?
Scotty Callaway: Toronto, you?
Taylor Hawkins: Toronto too actually. We have a show there tonight.
Joe Everyman: Badass, we'll need to go.
Scotty Callaway: It would be perfect tune-up.
David Grohl: Tune up?
Joe Everyman: Yeah, we have a huge match this Sunday. We're set up to face the team of Two Below Zero, of Frostbyte and Avalanche. And if we win in this ladder match, we'll go on to face the nCw Tag Team Champions whenever we cash in our number on contendership.
David and Taylor stare at Joe blankly.
David Grohl: ...what?
Taylor Hawkins: Yeah...what?
Joe face palms.
Joe Everyman: Oh nevermind...holy ****!
BAM! The tire of the Escalade blows up as Joe tries to maintain control. Scotty and Taylor and screaming at the top of the lungs as David is just freaking out. Finally, the Escalade slides into a fence and slams to a stop.
Joe Everyman: Oh my god, is everyone alright?
Scotty and Taylor and still freaking out and shaking. David then turns towards Scotty and Taylor and says...
David Grohl: Cheer up boys...your make up is running.
Joe marks out a little.
All four guys get out of the Escalade and stand out onto the road. Then, out of absolutely nowhere, a German Panzer IV rolls by but doesn't see then guys standing there.
Scotty Callaway: What...
Taylor Hawkins: The...
David Grohl: ****?
Then a few German soldiers jump out of a halftrack a little ways up the road and looks down the road. They start yelling random German towards them.
Scotty Callaway: I wonder what they want?
The tank then fires a cannon shot down the road, barely flying over the busted Escalade.
Joe Everyman: Holy ****! Run!
The four guys duck into a random ditch nearby. They look up quickly as a bright blue light shines down from the sky as a huge alien looking dropship lands and Covenant Elites and Grunts start running out towards the German soldiers.
Joe Everyman: What the **** is going on?! Where the hell are we?!
David Grohl: Guys...we're in Canada!
The scene then cuts to black.
