Act 1: Such Pretty Eyes
The scene opens on the lavish Du Lac Manor in Dunwich New York. The night was quiet and the stars glistened in the sky shinning against the deep midnight blue sky, while the full moon sent it's beams to the earth below. Shadows move among the trees that are on the property around the house, as a gentle breeze moves through the branches causing the trees to bend and creek as they move in the wind. The camera moves up to the higher part of the house where we find a bright light out onto the balcony in front of the double doors and to the earth below. The camera peers into the lash living quarters of the Golden Queen, who is pacing the floor with her thoughts racing about the match that she has this week coming. She was going to face Zelda Knite, and Maria Williams with Ayla at her side. She knew this wasn't going to be a night she wanted to go through but she didn't have a choice. Drake had given her back her contract, and her first match was going to be one that would test patience, and her true feelings about what happened. She walks to the balcony doors, and sees movement moving through the trees. The wolves were wandering about in the night, in search of their next meal. She turns back to the room, as she hears the double doors open, as Stacy walks into the room with a tray in her hands, and a bunch of folders under her arm. She sets the tray down, that contained a small tin of polish, and a few brushes.
Cleo: What's all this Stacy?
Stacy: I figured that your Crook and Flail could use a good polishing ma'am. I noticed the other night that they were starting to look a little tarnished.
Cleo: Good. I'll leave you to it then. I'm going to see Sothren.
Stacy: I think he maybe "entertaining" ma'am. I saw him come in with... someone about an hour ago.
Cleo just smiles as she digs through the top desk drawer and pulls out a small satchel, and heads for the door.
Cleo: He won't mind...
Stacy: Shouldn't you be training for your match ma'am? I mean this week you and Ayla face Zelda Knite and Maria Williams.
Cleo: Don't worry Stacy... I'll be ready to face both of them. Now get started on polishing the symbols of my power.
Stacy: Yes ma'am.
Cleo walks out of the room, and into the long hallway. As she walks down the hallway, she hears music coming from the nursery and smiles slightly. It was the sound of a music box that played a strange and yet eerie tune. Cleo kept walking toward the staircase, hearing arguing coming from the other end of the hallway from Seph's study. She thought she had heard the doorbell a little while ago, but didn't really think anything of it. She continues down the stairs, and heads into the dinning room, and into the large kitchen, and heads for the old wooden door that would lead down to the basement. She slowly opens the door, and starts down the dimly lit wooden stairs. The stairs creaked under her, as she walked into the dim light towards Sothren's room. As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she could hear muffled screams coming from his room. She just smiles knowing what was going on and knocks on his door, as it opens slightly.
Sothren: And what do I owe the honor of your visit?
Cleo: Stacy told me she thought you were "entertaining" someone, so I thought...
Sothren: You thought you would come and help me huh?
Cleo smiles slyly and walks into the room seeing a young woman tied up sitting in a very old looking Dentist chair. She struggles against the restraints, and tries to talk through the gag that is on her mouth. Sothren closes the door behind Cleo, and walks over to the young woman that tries to plead to Cleo for help. She ignores the woman as she looks down at the shimmering scalpels and other instruments of torture, and then at Sothren.
Cleo: You haven't started yet?
Sothren: No, the muse hasn't struck me yet. I've been sitting here trying to figure out what to do with her.
Cleo looks at her, and runs a very manicured nail down the woman's face, and stares at her eyes.
Cleo: She has such pretty eyes... I want them.
Sothren: Tell you what, when I finally decide what to do with her, I'll put them in a jar for you.
Cleo: Good. But she reminds of Zelda. Her eyes are just as blue as this woman's eyes.
Sothren: You're facing Zelda? And who else?
Cleo: Maria Williams. I'm not worried about her. I mean every one last of the Diva's have taken her down at one time or another. But Zelda, that's another story.
Sothren leans against the wall as he looks at the young woman with tears now streaming down her face, knowing that these two weren't going to let her go any time soon.
Sothren: The real question is, will Ayla be in any shape to help you against Zelda and Maria? I mean she's lost her mind over what's happened and all.
Cleo: True, but I know Ayla will be ready to take them down. But I smell blood in the water Sothren. Zelda is injured, and won't be at her full health come Sunday night.
Sothren: What happens when an injured animal is put into a cage?
Cleo looks at him and tilts her head, with a soft smile.
Cleo: No...
Sothren: They try to find a way out, and fight for their lives. But when you throw other animals in the cage with the injured one, they will fight for their life, and try to survive, only to fall.
Cleo just smiles and nods, understanding what she had to do. She would use Zelda's weakness and injury to her full advantage, gaining the second win over Zelda. Kelly had the honor of getting the first one, but this was Cleo's chance to show that she could take down the great Zelda once and for all.
Cleo: I'm going to make sure that Zelda falls this time one way or another Sothren. I don't care what it takes but she will fall, and I will have at least one victory over her.
Sothren: After we finish here why don't I start helping you train. It's time to get back to that old ultra violence don't you think?
An evil smile forms on Cleo's ruby lips as she looks at the young woman, and picks up one of the scalpels from the glistening silver tray as she begins to struggle against Cleo with her eyes getting wide as she sees the silver scalpel in Cleo's hand. Sothren licks his lips, and watches, as the scene fades to black.
Act 2: New Revelations
The scene opens on the interior of what appears to be a Japanese Dojo. The sound of metal hitting metal is soon heard coming from the room, as the camera focuses in on Cleo and Sothren moving about the room with weapons in hand. Cleo moves with grace and avoids the sloppy moves that Sothren makes toward her. She trips him, and laughs as he falls to the floor, only to flip up to his feet once again. She tosses the daggers into the wall as he puts his own blades away and comes at her with a hard spear sending her to the floor. She looks up at him and kisses him, and rolls him over to pin him on the mat. He headbutts her and she falls to the side as Sothren gets to his feet, and then looks back down at Cleo and smiles.
Sothren: Now it's time to teach you something new. I think you'll like this move, but your opponents won't.
Sothren picks Cleo up and sets her up for a STF, only to hit a dragon sleeper. She struggles against him, and taps quickly feeling herself giving into the feeling that was coming over her. Sothren lets Cleo go as she hits the floor looking up at him.
Sothren: Like it?
Cleo: Yes... What do you call it?
Sothren: The Tendrils of Darkness. I'm sure with a bit of practice...
Cleo grabs him by the feet, dragging him to the floor, and hits the move on Sothren, as he taps his hand against her arm. She smiles letting him go, as the door to the DoJo opens. Stacy walks in dressed in a gray suit, with a pair of glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose. She looks down at Cleo and Sothren sighing, hoping she hadn't interrupted anything.
Cleo: Of course not Stacy. What is it?
Cleo slowly gets to her feet, as she extends a hand to Sothren. He takes it and gets to his feet, gathering the two daggers that Cleo had tossed into the wall just a few minutes earlier.
Stacy: You just received a call from Mr. Fox.
Cleo: So? What did he want?
Stacy: There's been a slight change to your match ma'am. Since Zelda's injury, the doctor's have not cleared her to compete, and...
Sothren: Shame... I was looking forward to you finishing the job lovely.
Cleo: So it's going to be a two on one then? Me and Ayla taking on Maria Williams... That shouldn't be too hard.
Stacy shakes her head and looks down at the floor, as Cleo lifts Stacy's face to look in her eyes.
Stacy: No ma'am... They have someone taking Zelda's place.
Cleo: Really? Who?
Stacy: Kelly Nite ma'am. She's already done a promo and I think that you should see it...
Cleo looks at Stacy as she clenches a fist. This wasn't the match she wanted. She wanted to take Zelda down, and make her pay for every last time that she had tried to get a shot at the title, and bring her down to her level. She storms out of the Dojo, and into the living room on the other side of the door, turning the big screen TV on, catching Kelly's promo. She sits on the leather sofa that was against one of the walls and watches until it ends, turning off the TV. Cleo sits in silence for a few moments and sighs slightly, getting to her feet, and begins to pace the floor.
Sothren: This doesn't change anything. You and Ayla still have to fight the match no matter what. Kelly is just an obstacle that they threw in your way and nothing more.
Cleo: I know that. I mean does Kelly think that if she takes Zelda's place in this match that everything will be forgotten and it'll be alright again between them?
Stacy: Hardly ma'am. She thinks she is doing something noble.
Cleo just laughs as she looks at Stacy. Kelly was hardly a noble person, and everyone knew it. Cleo walks over to the full bay window that over looks the front part of the house and the yard, staring out into the clear night, and smiles evilly.
Cleo: Yes nearly ripping her sister-in-law's arm out of it's socket is a noble thing... And when she hit her own dear beloved husband upside the head with a chair... is that a noble thing as well Stacy? No. She's trying to redeem herself in the eyes of the fans, of Adam, and Zelda to no avail. Sunday night she will fall just like the rest. She's nothing special... She beat Zelda last week, and yet everyone has already seemed to have forgotten about it, but Kelly and those involved, because Kelly is a bleeding heart!
Sothren: So what are you going to do?
Cleo: I'm going to do what I plan on doing. I'm going to step into that ring and destroy all those that stand in my way. I'm tired of playing the games, of walking on eggshells to keep everyone happy. I'm going to do what I do best Sothren... I'm going to destroy them all.
Sothren just smiles and looks at her in a new light. She was starting to become the old Cleo once again. She didn't care what anyone thought, nor did she care for the bleeding hearts that tried to do what was right. His time alone with her had proven to be a bigger and better investment than he thought. Cleo's thoughts had become things of horror and destruction once again, like when she had first started out, and soon there would be no stopping her. She walks back into the Dojo once again, and looks back at Sothren motioning for him to come back in. Sothren just nods, as Stacy heads back upstairs to draw Cleo a bath for after the training she was about to go through, as the scene fades to black.
Act 3: Final Thoughts
The scene opens on the luxurious bathroom in the living quarters of the Golden Queen. The sound of water bubbling is heard, as a light mist seems to drift on the air. The scent of lavender, sandalwood, jasmine, and roses fill the room, as the sound of someone playing a harp softly floated on the air. We soon see Cleo sitting in a pure white marble whirlpool bath. She leans against the back of the tub with her eyes closed letting the jets work out all of the aches and bumps that she had gotten while she and Sothren were training. He had taught her a couple of moves that she could use on Sunday night to help her take down Kelly and Maria. Maria wouldn't be a problem, but Kelly... she could prove to be the turning point in the match. Cleo slides underneath the bubbling water, and slowly come up with her dark eyes sparkling in the dim candle light around the room.
Cleo: Kelly do you really think that what you're doing for Zelda will make things better between you? Or Adam for that matter? I know you think what you're doing is going to help make things all better again, but in truth you are going to end up bloodied, battered, bruised and on the verge of death when I am done with you. You see I planned on taking Zelda out this week with her arm being busted and all, but you will make a fine substitute for the pain and suffering that I will cause. I'm through playing games and no matter who steps into that ring against me on Sunday night they will have reason to fear the name Cleopatra once again. I'm not going to hold back, or handle you with kid gloves Kelly, no, I'm going to bring everything that I have against you, and watch you fall to the mat in agony knowing that you did this for Zelda, instead of letting her suffer the agony and defeat that you will feel at my hands. Ayla and I might not be a couple anymore but I'm sure that the two of us can still work together long enough to put you in your place Kelly. You know what I see when I look at you Kelly? I see someone that feels like she's been wronged, and yet when you smacked Adam with that chair you had a look on your face of pure enjoyment. The question is where do your loyalties lie? Are you really doing this for Zelda, or are you doing it for the thrill of it all? For the fans that will scream your name, the shimmering of the gold titles that sit around the champion's waists, for the smell of the blood, sweat and tears that shed, or is it all for her?
Cleo leans against the back of the whirlpool once more, and smiles softly feeling the water jets massaging her soft olive colored skin.
Cleo: Maria have you ever won a match since you've been in the NCW? I mean on your own? I don't think you have... How does it feel to be a total failure in this company while I sail past you? You're one of those people that no matter what they do to get ahead, they always fall back two steps, and keep falling in a downward spiral until they hit rock bottom. The question is will you get back up and try again, or will you walk away from the match a loser once again? Kelly thinks the two of you can set aside your differences and work together, but can you? Can you help someone like Kelly after what she did to Zelda and Adam? If you can then you are just as bad as she is, and will have to be punished along side her on Sunday night. I'm not going to go easy on you Maria. I want to see you suffer just as much as I want to see Kelly writhe on the mat with each move that I make. I plan on seeing this match to the end, and the pain and suffering that I will cause is for my glory! I've stood back and let the rest of the Diva's pass me by, and show me no respect in the locker room, or anywhere else for that matter! None of you are better then I am, and Sunday night you and Kelly will see why I am so much better then you are. I will not fail nor will I give up, until I see your blood run.
Cleo just smiles as Stacy walks into the bathroom with a big gold and deep blue towel, and sets it beside the tub. She sits on the edge of the tub and pours what appears to be milk into the water, as Cleo just mixes it with her hand.
Cleo: As for you Ayla, I've had time to think about what happened between us, and I have to say it was a good run while it lasted. But now I'm afraid that we are through. I've come to realize that I've always been a wayward soul in search for the next lover that I could get my hands on. In my life I've had many lovers and each time that I've left them, I've always left them heart broken, in shambles and sometimes even death. But that's not the case here Ayla. Sunday night as long as we are on the same page, and we can work together, that's all that matters. I want to take Kelly and Maria down and show them that I'm not someone that is to be messed with. I know you've been having a rough time since I left, but it must remain that way. Sunday night consider it our last hoorah together before we go our own separate ways. I loved you Alya, and I know you loved me in return, but that time is over, and all that matters is Sunday night and gaining a win over Kelly and Maria. So will you work with me, and stand with me long enough to put Kelly and Maria in their place, and help me destroy them, to hurt them for what they've done? Will you? Or will you walk away and leave to fend on my own? It doesn't matter either way... I will walk away from this the victor at the end of the night, with or without your help. I am the Golden Queen, the Queen of Kings, the life giving Nile, I am Egypt... so what does that make you? See you soon.
Stacy grabs the towel off the seat that sits beside the tub, and holds it up, as Cleo gets to her feet in the tub. Cleo steps out as Stacy wraps her in the towel, with the beads of water cascading down her perfect body. Her deeply tanned skin shimmers in the dim light as she stands there in front of the tub, with Stacy scurrying about turning the water off, and making sure everything is put up, as Cleo walks into her room to get dressed as the scene fades to black.
