So this Monday TNA has there epic 3 hour event with Hogans return to television.
Also.....MOnday Night Raw has Bret Hart as it's guest host. and with the rumors of a Vince/Bret storyline Bret probably wont go anywhere to far for awhile.
If things go well for Impact do you think there going to move permanently to Monday nights? And if so.....is anybody else pumped for the idea of a new Monday Night War to start?

I am a TNA fan (well I watch it) but TNA doesn't stand a chance on Jan 4th. The return of Bret Hart to a WWE ring, do you know how epic that is. No Hogan or 15th return of the NWO can hold a candle to the return of Bret Hart and the ratings will show. Now seeing how Impact is 3 hours n Raw is only 2, I suggest TNA use that hour advantage to really push the show, they are going to have to start Impact off with a bang so fans will tune back in if Raw has a bore spot in the show.

Not giving a sh*t about this ...Heroes returns with 2 eps tomorrow...guess what I'm watching.
Seriously...even if Heroes wasn't on, I wouldn't watch EITHER...gotten sick of both shows pretty thoroughly...waste of 2 hours a week to watch it. Takes 3 mins to read results on Wrestleview....better use of my time.

The return of Bret auto eclipses anything Hogan has or ever will do in his seemingly never ending career... Bret Hart returning to guest host a show is bigger than having a big hand in turning wrestling into what it is today? Ok..... Bret Hart returning to WWE is going to be huge, bigger than Hogan debuting on TNA for sure, but lets not get silly with the comments shall we?

My two favorite wrestlers returning on the same night, in competing promotions. The first night I'm going to watch wrestling in years and I have to choose...... jerks.

I was making a deliberately overstated attempt at humour becausse we still all have our preferences, I could have easily said Hogan's return auto eclipses anything Bret Hart has done or will do in his career and it still wouldn't make a difference as to who we choose to watch... obviously this was lost on you Adam...
Personally I'm more pumped about Bret than I ever could be about Hogan, yeah he popularised wrestling, we get that and we acknowledge that, its just not enough to draw me back into see him as it was say when the original nWo formed, that is the last time Hogan was great....since then its been a downhill slide...admittedly I'm only excited about Bret cos its been so long...Hogan pops up every couple of years at least...

anyway, if it was a joke, then I apologize.... but will say that it's the Internet... maybe one should make their jokes a little more clear. I can't magically detect tone over a bunch of 1's and 0's.

Adam, = Jokes Blank or = Not joke ;D or or or even = Incoming rape or = Already raped. I hope I cleared that up. In context, I think Bret coming back for WWE is bigger than TNA coming up with Hogan, because I still don't like the idea that Hogan is in TNA. I think Raw will dominate on Monday night.

In context, I think Bret coming back for WWE is bigger than TNA coming up with Hogan, because I still don't like the idea that Hogan is in TNA. I think Raw will dominate on Monday night. Raw should dominate simply because, it's the bigger company with the more established fan base, and has held that time slot for a very long time. They'd likely have won the time slot even without Bret Hart being there. Bret Hart's return is going to be bigger than Hogan's because Hart has been out longer, and because of the obvious history. The screw job, his brothers death, and several other things. There are hundreds of ties Hart has to WWE in some way, Hogan has very few TNA history ties. But TNA's ploy here isn't about beating WWE, it's about coming out and making it clear that they are trying to be a serious threat, if they just capture a good chunk of some ratings, then it'll be a success for them I think. It's a gamble, we'll have to wait and see if it was a good idea or not... I for one, don't think it is... but we'll see how it works for them.

We all know I'm a tna fan, but tna is going to get murdered on monday, I don't care if they plugged Impact on every show WWE has for three months, WWE would still bend them over backward and rape them because most of whats left of the people who still watch wrestling see WWE as a legit promotion and if they've even heard of TNA, its as a place where people who suck go.
Now this is a big step in the right direction, TNA is never going to get its name out there sitting on a thursday night not competing, you have to try to win. So this is a good idea for them to get out there and show the world they want to compete. It also proves to some of the more disgruntled employees on WWE's roster that there is a viable option out there that is looking to improve it's position. TNA wants to be number one, a little more than WWE does, because Vince just doesn't believe they will ever be a threat.
I'm going to watch TNA Monday night, its an easy choice for me. WWE has disappointed me so much over the last few years that Hart or not, it just isn't worth my time. Sure they'll have a cool segment or two, possibly two good matches, but it's just not enough. Will TNA be better? I'll let you know. However, once Heroes is over and my DVR is cleared up for the evening, I may watch the last hour of Raw just to see.
I also heard along with Hogan, RVD and Flair will be on Impact...

I have very little doubt that WWE will dominate in the ratings. However, as someone that watches both shows, I had chosen TNA by far, but being Canadian, sucked when I found out that Bret will host RAW. This to me shows that Vince is paying attention which means that TNA is already doing what they seem to want to do, become an alternative and get noticed. My plan is to watch TNA and then watch the replay of RAW. I feel like TNA has the much better chance to have nostalgia and surprises, RAW will be the same as usual, with Bret Hart inserted into one angle that will be maybe 20 mins of the show.

TNA is replaying their show on Thursday in the normal slot, so if I had to choose, I'd go Raw no doubt about it. Thankfully I have DVR and will watch both.
But Bret on Raw is HUGE.

Back in 2006, Bret Hart VOWED to never step foot in a WWE arena ever again and I completely believe him 100%. My opinion is Bret Hart will run the show from a satellite feed or some garbage. He won't be in the same arena as Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels...he's made the clear 100s of times and why would he go back on that now? The only way I'd turn my tv over to WWE is if Bret was facing HBK or McMahon in a match..and that's not gonna happen. So my tv will be on TNA....
And to answer your question about if they will continue this if it is promising. They are reshowing the show on Thursday at their normal time slot, but if you check out their schedule on their webpage...they've got a show January 10th and then one January 14th...Sunday and Thursday. However, they are having Impact! scheduled for January 18th which is a Monday. So you never know, but they are gonna have to do LIVE shows if they ever hope to compete with WWE on Monday Night Wars.
I watch WWE for 3 things....Shane McMahon (not competing anymore), my favorite WWE superstar EDGE (who is currently out)....and The Undertaker (who is getting too old). I've watched Raw maybe twice in the last 3 months but never all the way through. Hogan back and on TNA=greatness! Plus Bischoff is gonna be there...he's my favorite booker!

Bischoff is almost as big a douche as you! Adam answer to your problem, download them both and watch them in your own time! And...is it weird that I'm more interested in RVD than any of the aforementioned returning once-were's? (Yes, I appreciate they did a lot for this business but come on....enough with people coming back! .....and Flair needs to die already.)

Well I'm watching both.
Totally flipping back and forth with my remote lol.
Because I still enjoy wrestling. Not every match needs to be a twenty minute technical masterpiece. I still watch wrestling for the angles. Storylines make a good match even better.
If you want an athletic showing of competition with just nothing but matches. Watch UFC or something. Your never going to get a wrestling show that doesnt do storylines and show segments. They've been doing them for years.
Hogan is still the man. Bret is the man. I'll set aside my Monday night to watch two of the greatest return to television.

He would do so much more in WWE if he went back there. They would do with him just like they did when Christian came back. Plus, I read an interview a couple months back that he said he would go to WWE when he is ready, regardless of salary. So, if he does show up in TNA, I'll be pissed.

RVD said today that if anyone watches wrestling tomorrow night to see him, they're going to be really disappointed, because he's not going to be on there.
I love RVD, he's my second favorite to Bret, but if he goes to TNA, he plummets.

Now there are gems, like DX's midget trial was awesome, and since Carlito returned he's been great, but some of their other stuff, like Cena's pledge to not lose is just a bit lame, or the way Orton just sort of moves in slow motion, or how Undertaker just won't retire.

You mean like bury him on ECW and give him a title they consider worthless? Seriously, they consider the ECW title about as prominent as the US title. As for Hogan or Hart, I probably won't have control of the TV to watch anything except Heroes, so I'll just have to DVR TNA and tell Raw to go F itself. Until they start trying to entertain me again, I really don't give a damn. Yea, the DX trial segment was funny.. THE FIRST TIME. They didn't need to reshow damn near the whole thing at the end of the show. Way to kill time guys. Nice to see you can end your Raw shows 15 minutes early like you do every Pay-per-view.

Ah. I had no clue WWE had a responsibility to only entertain you Mark. Fooled me. Anyway, how could anyone think Hogan being back is as big a deal as Bret being back? Bret's got this crazy story to tell and he hasn't been in a ring since 2000. Hogan on the other hand just had his little self promotion tour, had 3 reality shows, and made Orton and Michaels job to him in consecutive years. Plus, he made a ton of guest appearances on Raw. He's as visible as those Twilight fags. Bret's been in the shadows, and now he's finally going to satisfy his fans requests to come back one more time.

CM Punk says. "Hi." Mark Henry says, "Hello" Christian says "Wassup" Morrison says, "Sup, brosef" Hardy says, "My brother is a dumb****" Swagger says nothing... b/c he's dead... not really. ECW Title, like all belts, are simply tools to get people over. You have a very capable worker in Christian who can work with the younger talent to get them over. They go over, they move onto SD! or RAW. Once there are enough names on ECW, then you move Christian to RAW or SD!
