DVR'd impact last night. It was good stuff. RVD -vs- Jeff Hardy.. awesome. Return of Joe.. awesome. RVD and AJ Style.. pretty damn good.
I've got to say though.. the only promo I enjoyed on the entire show was the opening one with Hogan in the ring. RVD and Jeff Hardy watching replay footage was freakin' awful. Bischoff and Hogan sucking each others dicks in the back.. was worse.
I think if they can get over the Team Hogan and Team Flair thing, and continue to do more wrestling then promos, they could start to slowly creep in to competition for WWE.

Personally, I think the promo between Triple H and CM Punk at the beginning of Raw, alone, blew TNA away.

Jer-I-Cho! > TNA.
Although TNA was better than usual, Samoa Joe seems like they've got absolutely no direction for him. Wasn't he kidnapped? Now he's back with no explanation.

There's that thing about Samoa Joe...and I think it was just stupid that they had him come back, get tagged into the ring, dominate, win.

Did you want him to come back from "them" kidnapping him and "changing him" and then get his ass kicked? I see a Jeff Hardy heel turn and a Hardy - RVD feud in the near future, and I can't wait.

I think the whole storyline they did with him getting kidnapped was retarded. They should have scrapped it.

I think he needed it. He was struggling and needed to be repacked somehow. I hope they keep him like this.. kinda neutral.. just whoops everyone's ass. Kinda like Randy Orton, but more.. Samoan.

Best way to fix Joe... have Joe grab the mic and just say, "The last three years never happened..."
And then eat the X-Division...

Making Joe the killer he used to be is the best way to get him over. Just come in, kick everybody's ass, and celebrate.
But I can't wait until the WWE signs him, since TNA is too stupid to do what I just said.

I have two things to say, one they clearly said on Impact that Joe will tell us where he's been when Joe is ready, I just re watched it today.
Two, one shows rating went up this week while the others went down, in fact Raw got it's lowest rating since 2008, so I guess HHH talking about how awesome HHH is in fact wasn't better than Impact or RVD defeating Jeff Hardy at the 9 o'clock hour.
I don't hate WWE, in fact, I'd love to find a reason to watch it, I just can't bring myself to watch a show that pretends I haven't been watching wrestling for 20 years and treats me like I don't remember Cena was among the greatest heels the company ever had.
As for TNA, is it the greatest thing ever? By no means at all, but they atleast know who their audience is and that we aren't a ginat group of drolling morons who don't recognize that one chick with the spider from that other league. I can only imagine the lame gimmick Vince would give Samoa Joe if they ever signed him, Marcaus Cor Von anyone? Braden Walker?

Orlando Jordan? Shannon Moore carrying around a tiny book? Abyss turning into Golem from Lord of the Rings? Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan bleeding the Atlantic?
I could go on. People love to point out the bad stuff in WWE like having Braden Walker and Marcus Cor Van. Yet forget the past few years of Samoa Joe, Black Reign, and Dr. Stevie.

Stevie Richards has been wrestling for 20 years and he all of a sudden is a doctor? That makes sense.

I'm sure CM Punk is regretting the day he signed to the WWE... and Matt sydal too... And really Monty Brown and Chris Harris... two boring ass people... ... as for TNA, it is what it is, sometimes it's beyond retarded, sometimes they do something right. As for bringing up the ratings, its kind of a wash seeing as the RAW roster (or at least nothing important people... Cena, Orton, batista, Sheamus, etc.), Divas, production crew, and title belts (Swagger was wearing a replica belt) were in Europe.

TNA has great wrestling when they let the wrestlers go out and wrestle. But there storylines are pure crap. Most of it is just a rehash of old stuff. I mean, wrestling is cycles, but most of it has been the same stuff with the same people that did it before. Like Foley's pink slip match and Bischoff getting his head shaved. But there new ideas aren't that great either. I hope they get a writer soon that at least has some better ideas, cause their stuff is just retarded. I mean, the Angle/Anderson stuff has been good actually, but everything else is just blah. This past TNA was pretty good, cause of all the actual wrestling, and good wrestling. RVD probably should have won on a PPV, but what's done is done.
WWE storylines aren't much better, but they're better. Especially on Smackdown. I enjoy Smackdown's stuff a lot. The wrestling could be better, but they have some good matches here and there, when they let the wrestlers shine a bit. Unfortunately, there matches usually last five minutes or less, so that doesn't happen.
For both companies, the PPV's tend to be better than the weekly shows, which should be the case since we're paying money for it and all. But the weekly shows need to make us want to buy, and other than wrestlemania, I haven't bought a PPV in years. I still watch them on the internets of course.

Blowing up R-Truth was a gag. Stevie Richards is a guy who people have known about since ECW and he's just now a doctor? That's retarded.
It's like if Jericho comes out on the next Raw and is suddenly a Professor of Law at Yale.
Also...since when do psychiatrists wear scrubs?

Yes.....Stevie Richards isn't really a doctor.
He also wasn't really a crazy guy bent on censoring people.
Or he wasn't really Dude Love.
There called gimmicks dude.

I know this. But they didn't change who he is at all. He's still Stevie Richards but now he's a doctor. Right To Censor was a plausible gimmick change, dressing up like wrestlers is still the same guy but with a different attitude..but this is him as a doctor. It makes less sense than the plot to Ready To Rumble.
What I'm saying and you're apparently missing or ignoring Steve, is that it's a RETARDED GIMMICK. I'm not saying it's real life. It just doesn't make sense that "WOW NOW HE'S A DOCTOR!" It's stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Next week Steve Awesome shows up in the other fed and is still the same guy, only now he's a jet pilot. You see how that's stupid and wouldn't make sense? That's all I'm saying.

If you look back at old WCW and the Man of 1000 Loopholes you might totally buy Jericho as Professor of Law...
I kind of wish I still watched wrestling. I absolutely loved TNA when it was on Direct TV the first few years. It was only the good parts of what WCW was. Now though, when I get a chance to catch a part of a show it seems like all the bad things WCW did that made me turn the channel to Raw even though I already read the spoilers online.

I actually think it's a cool gimmick.
And for a guy like Stevie that doesn't really do crap unless he has a crazy gimmick....it works for him.
Otherwise all he has to rely on is his time in ECW...wich lets face it......anybody who watched him in the original ECW is either stopped watching wrestling or us.
At least he's doing something somewhat interesting, instead of walking around in short shorts and talking about blue crap all the time.
Now if someone like The Rock suddenly showed up as an astronaut....then yeah that would be dumb....but Richards isn't exactly a top draw.

out of all the things wrong... the idea of Dr. Stevie not being a real doctor is the topic that picks up the most steam?
He hasn't been on TV since... January?
