Round 2/3 Recap
ECW ECW took a another step in the right direction with two young picks. Matt Hardy may have been with WWE for over 10 years, but at 31, he still has a long way to go. His is the perfect mix of Veteran leadership and young up-and-coming talent. Round 3 say ECW go after a rebuilt tag team division, taking the young, 4th long running tag team champions in WWE History, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Also, ECW made a bold move by trading away C.M. Punk for another Veteran, Smackdown's Edge. That is a gamble that paid off. It seems to all be coming together for ECW, as their GM continues to draft young, and keep the pressure on Smackdown and Raw
Round 2 Grade: B+ Round 3 Grade B+
RAW Raw had to rebound after a dissapointing 1st round, where they reached for Carlito, but forgot about Shawn Michaels. They made no such error this time, taking WWE Poster boy John Cena. Cena is the figure head of WWE and Raw made it known that they are not taking this lightly. For the 3rd round, Raw again retained on of it's own by taking JBL, who's great mic skills complement his rough brawling.
Round 2 Grade: B+ Round 3 Grade: B
Smackdown Smackdown continued to chip away at the talent gap between themselves and Raw by taking one of it's big guns away, again. Raw gave away Jeff Hardy and Smackdown has gained the high flier, the question is wether or not Jeff compete for the World Heavyweight title, as opposed to the WWE Title. Round 3 saw Smackdown again steal from Raw as they locked in Umaga, who seriously ups the title picture on Smackdown. Umaga also fills the void left by the trade for C.M. Punk, which Smackdown lost Edge.
Round 2 Grade: B+ Round 3 Grade: A-
Round 2 Awards "Didn't see that coming" Award: Smackdown trades Edge for C.M. Punk
"What were they thinking" Award: ECW Drafts Matt Hardy
"Couldn't have been better" Award: Raw drafts John Cena
"Could have been better Award": Smackdown Drafts Jeff Hardy
"We won that round" Award: RAW
Round 3 Awards "Didn't see that coming" Award: ECW drafts London/Kendrick
"What were they thinking" Award: Raw drafts JBL
"Couldn't have been better" Award: Smackdown gets Umaga
"Could have been better Award": Raw takes JBL
"We won that round" Award: Smackdown
It's not Raw's fault they keep winning the "what were they thinking"award, they have so many stars, it's hard to choose.

Also, if the Three GM are okay, with it, I don't know if Ace is going to book shows with his Roster or not, anyone not taken at the end of the draft is free to be used on all three shows.
