Link to the Past is one of the best SNES games. The other best are any of the Donkey Kong Country or Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Also great choices. Except maybe DKC 3.... it was a good game.... just not great IMO. I was addicted to DKC, DKC 2, and Seven Stars, I swear those 3 games combined took over a year of my life. DKC 2 can be considered one of the best platformers ever in my eyes.

I'm not real big into the whole RPG world. FF 7 was the only one I played all the way through and enjoyed. I played 8, it was okay. 9 was gay. 10 just plain pissed me off. I don't care for games with no ending so I didn't play 11. Everyone I talked to said 12 sucked so I never bought it. Least someone tells me different here. I'd love to know more about 13 though.
As far as Zelda and the like go. Never got into them.
How about Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.? It wasn't revolutionary, but I thought it was great.

But if you didn't like 10, I doubt you'd like 12. I was a big fan of 9, I don't really know why, I just enjoyed playing it. I really got into the story of 10 but it was way too easy to make your characters gods and rape everything in your path.

Yeah, the story of X is amazing, but I still think FFI is my all around favorite. Also, for any RPG fan, go buy a Gamecube and buy Tales of Symphonia. It is, hands down, THE best RPG I've ever played. The story is second to none and the voice acting incredible

It was a very good game though and had a great story, but there were some things that were lacking for me. But the whole racism story I thought was really well done and made you feel sorry for the bad guy.

X wasn't bad. The ending killed me. It's like you spend all this time with this character and then he wasn't real. It pissed me off.
Let me throw an odd ball in there. Anyone play Marvel Ultimate Alliance?

I was like "If they kill Genis and Raine, I'll riot"

Yeah, I actually got emotionally attached to the characters. Kratos was like Goldberg...he was face, turned heel for a sec, then turned face. It was very believable too.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance = X-Man Legends clone....lameface.
Final Fantasy outside of the orginal 8 and 16-bit have gone downhill... yes some gems like FF VII and FFXII come out every once in awhile, but seeing as they JUST went to real time fighting system, hopefully it is XIII is a lucky number.
But you want bold
NO MERCY 64 IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT THE BEST WWE WRESTLING GAME, SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2006 IS THE BEST INTHE SERIES
And open the flood gates

*Hugs X* YES! No Mercy is not the best. I even think Wrestlemania 2000 is better than it. Seriously, too much in SvR06 is better except for the roster, but nothing is perfect

I still think WCW vs. NWO Revenge is the best wrestling game I ever played, or at least the funnest. No Mercy was a great game, and as I never played SD vs Raw 2006 I can't comment on it, but going by it's past track record I'm sure it was incredible as most THQ wrestling games are.
Seriously... you could say almost any wrestling game by THQ is the best ever and you wouldn't get much argument.

Except for the Cena-esk Momentum Shifts, Day of Reckoning 1 and 2 were amazing too. It seems if it's a wrestling game and on a Nintendo system, there will be little flaws in it.

Hold up. We all know WCW Thunder was hands down THE best wrestling game ever. That game single handidley created Falcon. What other game can make that claim? Tell me? None. Also every match in Thunder could be hard core. Everyone could do a power bomb, even Kidman... You can't beat. My number two would be Smackdown Here Comes the Pain. IMO it had the best season mode.
And Marvel Ultimate Alliance was awesome. I don't care what anyone says. Any game where I can play as Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, DeadPool, and Human Torch at the same time is awesome. I threw Human Torch in there because if you max him out he is a god. However I find the Fantastic Four gay, well not the movies, but the comics, gay.

Holy hell please tell me you were kidding about Thunder.... that game was terrible. Didn't have like 120 wrestlers... including a horse?

Kidman can power bomb the Giant... atleast according to WCW Thunder physics. Can you? I used to Chokeslam The Giant with Rey Mysterio all the time on WCW vs. NWO Revenge... I thought that was so hilarious for some reason. Or stealing Disco's taunt with Hulk Hogan.

I liked to put everyone in the Wolfpac(in Thunder) Except Flair. Then beat the hell out of him with the interference on... It was great.

Yeah, auto-interference and auto-nodq were always fun on those old games. "****, I'm losing?" and here comes a stablemate running down with a bat or something to beat the holy hell out of your opponents. I don't think I ever lost on the WCW games.

What was it... Select and someone would come help. I think you could even call out two guys, right? I don't know. I remember playing as Bret, getting my sass handed to me by Hogan, hitting select and like Mongo came out and whooped Hogan's ass. Then like Sting came out to help Hogan. It was wolfpac civil war... God I miss that game. I think I still have my memory card for it somewhere.

I found all of our old N64 wrestling games a few days ago. We have two WCW games and two WWF games. I still used to love the fact that you could turn any match into a handicap match, then into a tag team match in the middle and the ref didn't care. Poor programming made some amazing fights.

i like MArvel Ultimate Alliance. I completed it last weekend with a friend, and yes I played as the Human Torch, my flamethrower ability = unstoppable.
Actually funny quote: Me: Woo, I can stand in fire and don't get hurt. Matt (playing as Ironman) Wow, me too. Me: no dude, your getting hurt. Matt: No look I'm invulnerable to flames. *Ironman dies* Matt: Crap, I was looking at your health bar......
Yes....fun times indeed.
I loved Tales of Symphonia too btw Joe.

Me: It's a distraction so I can win *Looks at the timer* Scott: ...**** (While playing Halo 3 CTF) (After playing a 6 man game of Age of Empires for 7 hours...straight. We were silent for an hour and then he breaks the silence) Scott: I'm going to put you on my housing task force *He clicks a peasent, message pops up with the 'death' sound* --Player Neroku has created a wonder-- Scott: ...****! (A late night questing on WoW in the Barrens) Scott: Dude, we're lost. Nick: No, we're headed the right way...I think Me: No, we're lost. We're in the north, we need to go to the south. Scott: I think I saw a tumbleweed... Me: Mine! *My tauren ran after an imaginary tumbleweed...for about an hour* Me: My tumbleweed! *Eats the tumbleweed* Nick: Ok...let's go to the Wailing Caverns Me: Are there tumbleweeds there? (Another questing night on WoW, mind you, it's 4 AM and in the Night Elf capital) Me: Sir...have you seen my sanity? Matt: Yes, sir, please, have you seen it? We lost it about an hour ago doing a quest. Random other player: No, now **** off. Me: (I forgot the character name...let's just say...Randy) RANDY WANTS US TO **** OFF! HE WANTS US TO **** OFF EVERYONE HERE! Me: OH MY GOD! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!?! SOMEONE USED VOLGER LANGUAGE ON A GAME! Random other player: **** you Matt: NOW HE WANTS TO **** US!!!

One night while playing Ultimate Alliance with Falcon, he played as Deadpool, and I was Torch.
Falcon: Hey... I'm a not getting hurt.
Angel: What?
Deadpool just satnds there. His health meter doesn't move as about twenty of those stupid iron man clones attack him.
Falcon: See?
( Torch stands there, loses half his life bar in like three hits. )
Angel: damn you and your piss ant Deadpool. If I was someone cool I'd kick your ass.
Falcon: I could stand here all day and not die. GET THEM TORCH!
