Words can not describe the bad assness of this game.
If you do not go and get it you will be forced to listen to Yoko sing.

Rock Band = Win Beatles = Not so much. 45 Tracks = Lame $150+ for the special instruments = uber Fail Rock Band-Win Beatles-making RB moer bad ass 45 Tracks- 45 BEATLES tracks...nuff said. 150+? The kit comes with the drums, a mic, a mic stand and Sir Paul McCartney's bass. You can buy John and Georges for about 100...so why you are being charged an extra fifty is both unknown and funny to me. This game will surely surpass GH5 hands down.

Rock Band 2 is already better than Guitar Hero 5. My opinion is that they came out with more, and better downloadable content before GH5 (I remember playing GH3 and just checking for DLC once a week, and never finding anything new), so Rock Band is the better one between the two. Iron Maiden pack... Alice Cooper pack... there's just so much on Rock Band that's a lot better, and they announce that they'll have new songs every Tuesday.
As far as The Beatles go, I'll probably get it sometime down the road, but not for a while. I prefer songs that have the whole challenge to it, and as much as I did like oldies/classics, and The Beatles, but they really don't seem that challenging to me. I think it'd be better if they would just release it as downloadable content. That may just be me, though. I don't know anyone in a rush to get The Beatles Rock Band that I regularly play with on Xbox Live, so I'm not going to be in a rush to get it.

Day Tripper, Helter Skelter, Revolution, Dear Prudence. Just to name a few that you may find challenging but will find fun as hell to play. Though you are playing The Beatles, who are the greatest band period. So I do recommend you get when you can.

Totally not worth it

Beatles as a band....sweet.
Came up with some great songs....very influential in music still today. You can't go wrong with the Beatles.
Beatles on Rock Band.....meh....
Great songs......but not enough of a challenge by any means. Especially in this day in age when just about everybody is pretty good at Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
I wanna see them come out with one devoted to a genre of music. Like Metal!
An all Metal version of Guitar Band, with a new double bass system for the drum set.

You mean like Guitar Hero: Metallica? Ahem. Rock Band: Beatles is not better than Guitar Hero 5. It is an add on, a patch, an update. Just like the AC/DC one, and I'm not spending money on it when I know for a fact most of the songs I'll play will be the 60+ I've downloaded. Not really a beatles fan, even on Rock Band 1/2 there's bands I don't like but the game isn't devoted to them so it's no big deal, Beatles yeah. Guitar Hero 5's track listing is looking pure crap, it;s saving grace is the whole any number of any instrument at the same time: i.e. four drummers, or maybe two drummers a singer and a bassist? Band Hero = Wank. DJ Hero = GAY Rock Band 3? Hmmm.... Screw the "Hero" bullsh*t. They used real music fans to get their foot in the door now they're ****ting all over us with crappy tracklists? Ok....wait...let's do this properly, remember now guys this is just my opinion not a fact. Guitar Hero 5 Tracklist

You guys all realize Spike hates games like Rock Band cuz his favorite bands aren't usually in em.
And if they wanted to do anything by Elliot Smith I'd suggest maybe Twilight or Needle in the Hay, yeah...it's emo college rock type soft ballady stuff...but *** damnit I like those songs.
Also...wtf is with Spike hating on Rush? And not knowing who Bush is...good god...you'd think this guy actually listened to country instead of rock from the 80's 90's when he was a KID! *cries again*

And you are so off base I want to slap you with a fish.
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, White Zombie, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold....just a few of my fave bands who have been in them.
And yes, Batman >>>

Personally I've never seen the allure of the Guitar Band games, probably because I feel more accomplishment in playing my real actual electric guitar rather than a poor attempt at a simulation.
Beatles = overrated in my opinion
Batman >>> is something I'll totally agree with, but I dont have a PS3 or X-Box, so probably won't be getting that anytime soon unless I buy the PC version for my birthday, but there's other stuff I want.
Also, contrary to Spike's belief, Garbage rule and Shirley Manson is hot.

What is wrong with you people?
First of all...Jack Hammer...you can go sodomize yourself with a hot poker. As for the rest of you...none of you can give me a logical answer as to why you don't like The Beatles, why you think they are ''over rated''
Do I have to remind you that they changed Rock n Roll history. That the bands you people like garnered much inspiration form the Fab Four.
Anyways...I leave you to your e fed and wish you all luck on your matches. I'm crawling back into the hole. I'll see you guys in another six months

"Do you don't you want me to looove yoooooou.."
I won't buy the game, I'm terrible at guitar hero/rock band games etc.
I do however own ass on a dance mat. That is basically what these games are, "Dance dance revolution" cept with plastic guitars and fat people stay fat after playing for months.
Kinda ridiculous how they are milking the rock band/guitar hero thing by getting tons of different bands behind them. Aerosmith, Metallica, The Beatles....
...there should be a guitar hero in honor of The Mentors. A bonus mini game where you could spike a girl's drink or something..

First of all, Jackhammer.....
Dude, the Beetles are probably the second most influential band of all freaking time. Right behind the greatness that was Elvis...
Now, I am sure the younger generation doesn't get it, and that's fine. But trust me when I tell you that these artists paved the way for a lot of what you listen to today. Bottom line.
Secondly, my daughters wanted it, so we got it today. Haven't played it yet, but will when I get home from work. I love the Beetles.
