You English guys lost the internet or something? It isn't like Spike Kane, Dave Holland, or Matt Jenkins to not get a roleplay up by now. Especially with less than 21 hours before the deadline. You guys going to be able to make it on time? If not, contact the staff privately and let them know before the deadline!

I was waiting for Spike to roleplay because we've made a kind of unofficial agreement that we each do an rp not referring to each others first (I was waiting to read to make sure we didn't do essentially the same rp).. then a second each just replying to the first. Just our way of complying with the rp limit and still having it fair with chances to reply.
Yet he's not had chance so I'm just about to go write my rp now.

Oh, and there's a difference between England and Britain (English and British) England being a country, Britain containing England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom containt the above three and Northern Ireland.

The United Kingdom containt the above three and Northern Ireland. I know..the IRA is no more and Northern Ireland and Ireland have made peace. No more Catholics vs. Prodestants there anymore ;D I took a government class last semester on this stuff... I've found that yeah, Britain made it official that the IRA were disarmed, however they aren't completely disarmed until recently. Sinn Fein and Gerry Adams are bastards!!!!

Erm...have you ever been to Ireland?
Yes, i have...there is still fighting, and there always will be. The British Empire invaded Ireland but couldn't conquer it, only a part (Northern Ireland as it's now known) many Irish republicans (and not just Cathlics) want Ireland to be a nation once again (look it up, there's a song called: "A Nation Once Again") and of course there are others who want to be part of Britain, associating anything they can with britain, hence the Northern Ireland flag...etc...etc
I come from an Irish family (Catholic) and I have nothing against Protestants, infact one of my closest friends is one, it's overdone and completley over the top, it's not about religion, it's about nationality.
On that note, **** YOU SPARTAK MOSCOW! Wooo Celtic 4-3 on penalties, WOOOOOOO!!!
EDIT: My girlfriend is protestant too...

That's what I told my professor after he said that the British government said the IRA had disarmed. I told him they'd never stop fighting because of freedom. You know the IRA still has a website and it still shows a soldier holding a gun as a symbol for them? And the British government claims they are disarmed...SHEES!

I'm gonna assume that I'm the protty friend Spike was referring to that's not his girlfriend, and trust me the catholic vs protestant thing is still going. I say I come from a welsh family but that's just through the family name, my grandmother is actually from northern ireland... though I have no idea where in northern ireland.
Anyway my point is that nothing makes me more certain that the conflict will always be there to some, than the fact that I was given a harsh telling off when I referred to Londonderry (as called by the UK) as just Derry (as called by the Irish) when in fact I was referring to the football club which I believe is still actually called Derry F.C.
I myself harbor no ill will though I can understand those who have been wronged by the other 'side' harboring feelings.
