Lmao Spike. I have to disagree with you though, DBZ is a great series. I know it's popularity has made it some what of a target to fan-boyism over the years but there are still the handful of hardcore fans out there who don't go around pretending to be SSJ's or Oozaru's (Giant apes lol). It's true it is geared to the younger adult, but the original, uncut episodes with swearing, partial nudity, and violence still appeals to some adults. And that's what the appeal is to me. I find the storyline boring now and I have grown out of DBZ and anime in general, but it'll always have a place in my heart because of the excitement and fun it gave me when I was younger. My DBZ rant is over now, and I ask that to save my credibility on these forums you all forget I was a DBZ fan  :D hehe "We now return you to your scheduled programming" |

I totally understanding that, however gay bashing someone for liking something, is a little below you, I will ignorge that and say, you said that out of Anger. Like Manson said, It targets younger adults, but does have a following with Adults as well. I know this isn't WWE. I guess the point I try to make with the whole super saiyan thing is. Trent isn't your everyday showman, and is still a kid at heart, and also a loose cannon at the same time, granted, He won't come down to the ring, dressed as a Super Saiyan, or ever attempt to do anything of the sorts. Instead he focuses it more on his out of the ring experience with it, since well, he does own his own CGI company, so why not let him, spend millions of dollars every promo, so he can pretend to be a Super Saiyan? Or Fight Galactus or Magneto or something along the lines, or pretending I'm a Sith lord. I know it is a bit kiddish, I admit that, but if it results in me, actually having fun, then I'm all for it. Honestly from my past experiance, you have to do something out of the ordinary to get noticed, instead of, focusing on your everyday life of the character, which I admit, does make Good Character Development, but get's boring rather quickly to watch someone go to a resturant, or talk with friends all the time. Sorry, guess that s**thole, IWF really f**ked with my brain a little too much, or listen thru one too many Apathy and Syn promos in The Colosseum. Overall, Spike is right, I don't really have a serious character, which is why, I've always hovered around the Upper Mid Card Level, my entire life. |

Seriously Trent, all you need to do is drop the Super Saiyan crap, and Trent Helms would be a Main Event player. It has nothing to do with my like or dislike of DBZ, I actually don't mind watching it...as long as it's on dvd, because watching some dickhead "charge2 for half an hour and then having to wait a week to watch said dickhead "charge" again...kinda gets annoying. As for the cpu games? They are awesome, the only one I've actually owned was Budokai(dp?) 3, which was awesome because we played it in the store everyday. My point is...we weren't allowed women wrestlers for reality, so..the super saiyan thing kinda bugs me, like Vertigo's necrophilia fetish..and obsession with murder. ....seriously dude...get your head checked!  |
