Alright gentlemen and lady. I don't normally like to talk much about my personal life on here because I don't really know you guys all that well, but since it affected my work and drive this week, I figured I'd have to tell you guys.
The reason why I haven't been around this week is that my uncle died earlier this week. That's disheartening enough as it is, but on top of that, it happened on my mom's birthday. (What's even worse is that it's the second time an uncle has died on her birthday.) So on a day we're supposed to be celebrating life, her brother dies. I never expected it to hit me like it did, but the way he lived is something I've always worried I'm going to end up like. A sad, secluded drunk who pretty much pissed his life away. I know that's terrible to say, but it's the gods honest truth. It caused me to realize that at the rate I'm going at right now, that could be me in 10 or 20 years. So pretty much this whole week I've been depressed that my uncle died, and worried that that could easily be me. I've been doing some thinking/searching and that's basically why I've been gone this week. I just haven't had the heart to do anything right now.
I really should have taken the week off, but with so many other guys taking off, I tried to pull through it all and do something. I'll try and pump something out tomorrow, but if I can't, I hope you guys understand.
