The Men Who Stare at Goats
I liked it because it was exactly what I thought it would be. It wasn't outrageously funny but it wasn't stupid comedy either. It was just kind of silly.

Predators. Just go watch it, it's amazing. If you liked the first one, and hated the "sequels", you'll love this one as much I as did.

Expendables.
I know, I know, most people will/do hate it because yeah, most of them are too old to be doing this **** anymore, but I loved it. I recommend you watch it just in case you turn out to be one of the few because if you love it, you'll really love it.

Kick Ass - Most everyone has seen it, but we got it on DVD. I love this movie so much.

The new Karate Kid movie It was ok despite the numerous references to the first movie and the incredibly cheesy Flash Kick at the end of the movie.

Dead*Alive
This is a pretty cool zombie movie directed by Peter Jackson before he hit it big with a trilogy of movies that documented people walking.
I really liked the effects and the way the monsters looked. The lawnmower scene....lol....totally brutal. Plus there were bits of humor involved that made it less cheesy and more awesome.
I recommend checking it out if you like zombie horror.

Blood Simple - It was Joel and Ethan Coen's first movie. I recommend it to anyone who has ever enjoyed a Coen's movie.

Tron Legacy.
I love Tron so much it's untrue. I can easily say without the first movie I would have turned out a very different person. This movie reminded me of everything I loved from the first... plus an awesome soundtrack. Expect the next entry on this list to simply be 'Tron'.

After.Life
It's one of those movies that makes you draw your own conclusions. Is the chick really dead or is the guy just really ****ed up? It's not a bad movie by any means, but either way you choose to interpret it, it's got some plotholes. If you're up at 4am and need something to watch, it's a decent choice.
Plus it's got some lengthy Christina Ricci nudity, so I ain't mad at it. And Liam Neeson is a G.

Tron.
Told you it would be. Was delivered today. And you know what I learned?
Damn movies are long these days. Running time of 1 hour 32 minutes and it felt really really short. Hollywood has broken my perception of time.

Misery. Kathy Bates plays a psycho so well. And James Caan.. he's James Caan.

Fanboys - Actually made me laugh out loud a few times, I had low expectations of this film but it was really enjoyable and Kristen Bell plays how I imagine Zelda Knite to be.
Worth a watch for sure.

Predators. Just go watch it, it's amazing. If you liked the first one, and hated the "sequels", you'll love this one as much I as did. I disagree with this statement a lot. A point to make is my friend who is insanely in love with all Predator and Alien related stuff, including the **** ton of books out there hated this movie. I'm watching it with him, and then there's the scene with the samurai swords, and the cinema goes quiet when he kills the predator only for my friend to shout in a packed cinema: "WHAT!? F*CK OFF!" and to be applauded by everyone in the screen. And what was the damn point in Laurence Fishbourne even being in the movie? What a waste of god knows how much money and talent! That being said....as a sci-fi action movie I enjoyed it, but it doesn't even come close to the first movie, or some of the "sequels"

Suckerpunch - C, seriously kind of bored me. I get the fact that people will like this for it's softcore porn but it was lame. The styles of the three worlds were interesting but it lacked and it lacked explanation too.
Battle: Los Angeles - B+, Enjoyed this movie a lot. The action was done well, and there was a nice story arch to follow. Left me wanting more and a hell of a lot of unanswered questions, only reason this isn't an A

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - A+
Honest to god an amazing movie. It does a brilliant job of making you relate to the apes, to feel sympathy and empathy and it also gives the human characters connections, i.e. to like or dislike them. I absolutely love the fact that they mentioned the Icarus space ship and that it was "Lost in Space" ala the Heston movie of fame. It's quite clear that this is the first in a series and I seriously hope there are more.
If you even slightly liked any other Planet of the Apes movie you'll love it.
If you've never seen any, I strongly suggest watching it because it was awesome. So good in fact, that I'm going to go and pay for it at the Cinema.

30 Minutes or Less - B+ I enjoyed this movie quite a lot, I dont usually like silly comedies but this had some just outright funny moments. Made things a little more realisticly, because you know things like that would happen in the real world.
Even the annoying indian dude who I haven't liked in anything he's been in was pretty good in this.

The World - A+++++ Needs no description as to why.

Welcome to life in Scotland great movie and great book though I watched 'The Town' last night, Ben Affleck's first movie as a director. Thought it was really good, particularly if you like crime thrillers.

Little Big Soldier - Chinese Film starring Jackie Chan as a simple Liang Soldier who captures a Wei General for the reward of five acres, gold, and exemption from military service after a battle that destroys both of their armies. Its got classic Jackie Chan avoiding fights in his usual comedic sense, though minus the martial arts. Decent plot, light on the effects but this is a good thing, and the characters are pretty entertaining or likeable. Subtitled in English, spoken in Chinese.
