Jim we have been trying for weeks to get closure. I attack you, you attack me. We have tag team matches we have altercations. I talk about you, you talk about me. Well at Battle Grounds I am happy to say that the hype and the talking are over. It’s just you and me. Although it is billed as rookie vs. veteran I know you are only a rookie to the company, and not the business as a whole. I know what you have done and I am certain you will accomplish so much more. But today I am the better than. This week I will defeat you in what will surely be a match that steals the show. The predictions have been mixed. Some say you will win some think I will pick up the “w”. But there has not been one person who predicts it will be easy for either of us. I know I am in for a battle.
I have said some things in my anger that have earned a lot of negative press. I said things about your father and about you to be specific. Maybe it is too soon and maybe they were unwarranted but the fact remains that we are all adults here and we own up to what we do. I will apologize for myself only when you take that stupid clown suit off. You are obviously under the impression that Jokers are wild… but I'm playing the trump card.
The Burning is seen walking down a hallway. He is wearing street clothes and looks very comfortable. He is looking down reading Marmaduke and chuckling to himself. He walks right past The News and Mike Honcho without even noticing. The News sees him coming and hides as he passes, careful not to reveal he is working with another client. Burning walks right by without noticing a single thing and continues until he arrives at the office he is looking for. He sits down in the chair outside the door and waits. The door is labeled “nCw Board Room”. After a few moments the familiar face of former GM Ruston Bourne is seen approaching him. He takes a seat next to Phil.
Phil: You ready? This is what we’ve been waiting on for months now.
Ruston: Yeah I am. Hopefully if all goes well then next week we will have our guest at Collision to drop a figurative bomb on the front office.
The door flings open and several men in suits walks out. The last one out is Randy III the newest board member who we haven’t seen in several weeks. He shakes hands with Phil and Mr. Bourne and they walk towards his office. What will this meeting hold? Next week should hold answers to many of our questions. The scene fades.
