You know its funny how little things can change the course of history for one person, or a whole country. It can be for good, or for bad. Like a little girl, walking through her house, gets hit with a stray bullet and dies. She wasn't a part of the fight, she was just an innocent casualty of a street war that was raging two miles away. The course of history for her family was changed forever with their loss. Or take a small portion of militia, volunteers if you will, to the Revolutionary Army. Farmers, merchants, and even preachers stood up for what they believed in, and it was with their help that we cast off the chains of oppression over 200 years ago. The course of our country was forever changed, and freedom rang out. For that freedom, I am thankful. For their lesson will forever live inside my soul. Their sacrifices will forever be etched in stone, and the oppressor will never wrap their hands around our necks again.
Kind of like our little situation, isn't it Angel? You, being with the source of nCw's oppression, the Revolution. You call it a movement against the powers that be. A movement for a change in this volatile envrionment that we all live in. The one thing I have to question is, would this be a change for the better, or just trading one set of tyrants for another? Your arguments are quite compelling to say the least. I mean honestly, how can ANYONE resist this "join us or else" approach you jackasses have taken? The truly funny part of it all is, you came to me because you KNOW that I am a threat to everything you hold dear, Angel. You know that I am a threat to take that X-Division title off your waist. That's why YOU came to ME.
The sad part is, you call yourself different. You call yourselves a change. You call yourselves the REVOLUTION. The funny thing about revolutions, Angel, is that even if they are successful, they usually end up bad for someone. In your case, it's going to end up bad for you. I am tired of hearing all this crap about the Revolution, and the Resistence, and everyone in between. What you fail to realize, Angel, is that I don't need the Resistence. I don't need the Revolution. YOU BOTH NEED ME. Now, you can admit that, or denounce that, but the bottom line is, it's true! Jimmy Zane is one of the most valued commodities in nCw because I come to play. I come to work every week to be the best. I come to make sure everyone here knows that the VooDoo Child isn't a damn joke.
Now, Adam Knite, you told me to stand up for what I believe in. You told me to stand up for what is right. Wow, now that was one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life. This, coming from the man who stood by and watched my dad die. The man who I looked up to as a kid, but look down on now because you are only but a shell of your former self. You can revolt all you want, but that only makes you revolting in my eyes. God help me, if you get involved in my match this week, you will bring more pain and suffering into your life than you ever wanted to deal with, and that is a promise.
The hours are counting down, and the seconds pass with every breath. A change is happening around here, thus the name "Metamorphosis" really is fitting to the situation around here. From the carnage that will certainly be seen this weekend, a beautiful new day will arise. Not the day of the Revolution, and not the day of the Resistence. But the dawning of the age of Zane. The beginning of a period of time that will most certainly be one of the greatest XDivision title reigns in the history of nCw. The birth of an era so magical and moving, that fans will line up in droves to make sure they get to witness Jimmy Zane standing victorious week in and week out. They will chant his name, and watch in wonder as he defies every single source of power in nCw and does what he wants, when he wants.
Albert Camus once said that "In such a world of conflict, a world of victims and executioners, it is the job of thinking people, not to be on the side of the executioners." The problem is, here in nCw, it's pretty hard to tell who the executioners really are. In my eyes, both the Resistance and the Revolution are tyrannical in their approach to running this company. Their views are a stark contrast of one another, but they are both stifling of the creativity and talent in between. We, are the victims, Angel. We are the innocent in your quest to defeat one another. The middleman in a deal gone way wrong, and to both sides, I turn my nose up. To both sides, I give the finger of independence. You will not own a piece of Jimmy Zane, my friends. You will not tell me what to do, and you will not rule every second of every day of my life.
Jimmy Zane is the future of nCw, and every one knows it. They hate to admit it, and they won't until I do something so different and so amazing that they have no choice but to stand up and take notice. One of the most crucial parts of every war, is the planning of it all. I let all of you think that you are in control. I let all of you think that Jimmy Zane is just a slacker who occasionally a good wrestler. Like a snake lying in the grass in waiting, I lie as still as the cold dark night. You poke me with a stick, and still, I stay ever so quiet and still. You poke me again, and again, I stay still, just waiting for my opportunity. Waiting for the element of surprise. That is when you reach down to grab me, and I sink my teeth in so deep that my venom soaks into your bloodstream before you can blink. This week, I am no longer laying in wait, I am coming for you full force, Angel, and I want you, and the rest of those jackass revolution characters to be officially put on notice. Jimmy Zane won't lay down for you or anyone else.
So with that said, Angel, I will leave you with one last tidbit of information. George Washington once said "There is nothing so likely to produce peace as to be well prepared to meet the enemy." I am prepared, and ready to meet you head on, and in his cause for peace among nCw and its inhabitants, I will not fail. Failure is not an option for me, Angel, and you will just be another casualty of war. The winds of change are indeed blowing, and the dawn of a new era is up on. The Revolution, the Resistance, and the rest of nCw will..... REAP THE WHIRLWIND!
