*The camera opens looking through a glass window into a huge tank of water, this is probably one of those ones use to house dolphins at zoos and stuff. Suddenly, the top of the water is invaded with a splash by some gold medal attached to a black leather belt. This sudden intrusion into the peaceful view is offset by the opening of "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor." As the object sinks more and more, it's easier to see that what is entering the calm of the pool is the nCw X-Division championship. It bubbles and creates a fair bit of ruckus in the pool. But quickly we move to somewhere entirely different, an empty ring in an empty where Nelly Angel stands. Though the music keeps playing, it is quieter when we see Nelly.*
Nelly: I touched the face of god.
*He's wearing white dress pants and his white Revolution shirt as he looks forlornly into the camera.*
Nelly: Ok, well, not exactly. I should probably explain. Imagine, just for a second that you are allowed by god to view his entire majesty. To see just exactly what he planned. To look into his face, see through his eyes and witness exactly what life could be like if everything worked out. To see the pinnacle of existence. Then what happens? You are allowed back into your own life and what do you see? Do you see the greatness of what our world is?
*The music gets loud again and we cut back to the title in the tank. Slowly from the cracks and crevices of the title come red drops, the blood that has been spilt by its owners. They flow upward to the top in tiny little red bubbles. But before anything else happens we move back to Nelly and the music quiets down again.*
Nelly: Did you know that what we refer to the silver screen used to actually have silver in it? And did you know that Technicolor used to be more than just a brand? When Technicolor first came out there were silver filaments in the movie theater screens, that along with a special coating on it made movies absolutely sparkle. Unfortunately, it was deemed a fire hazard so eventually such things were ruled out. But at the same time, Technicolor was invented and it was able to produce colors that did not even exist in real life. This also had problems as it was prone to start fires, and with the silver screens made movie theaters extremely dangerous places. However, for a brief moment in time people were allowed to see things in a more vivid way then they ever could in their waking lives. It was like a dream that was more realistic than reality. It is something that is so beautiful that everyone wants to strive for it.
*The camera cuts back to the title in the tank, now it is flowing with blood, how this effect is achieved is anyone's guess. The music pounds as the water has a column of red flowing to the top. Then it's back to Nelly!*
Nelly: I saw that. Seven years ago I saw what wrestling could be. I touched the face of wrestling god. Then, I watched as all of it burned away just like it is here in nCw. People were shocked when I punched Ace, but if you saw what I saw, and saw what people like Ace did to the garden of Eden, you'd punch him too. He's scum and only belongs under the carpet. The face of god that I touched was the creation of a greedy man with greedy intentions, but somehow, him and his group purified wrestling for one brief moment. I saw what wrestling achieves for. I saw what keeps companies alive. And then I watched it all die. Then I came to nCw, and I saw the roster embroiled in the same stuff that kills every company in time. The same cancer running through it and from all of that was born the Revolution. And it was ugly. It was a greedy creation by a greedy man. But Xavier, when it came down to it, the Revolution, at least in its current capacity, believed in the same god as me. When I faced off against your former stable-mate, Falcon, he wanted me to join the Revolution. He thought that by beating me he'd show me how right I was and how wrong I was. And at the same time I thought that by beating him I'd show him the way of light, to purify this company.
*Back to the tank, the blood fills the water, it is starting to turn things a muddy red. The music pounds super hardcore. Then back to Nelly as it calms down again.*
Nelly: We all know how that turned out. Falcon lost, but I joined the Revolution. Why? Because I realized as he poured his heart and soul into the match it became clear that him and I believed in the same god. Heck, even Angel has proven that. And you Xavier, you believe in the same god too. I can tell. And yet, for some reason, you persist in trying to fight the Revolution? Why? Are you blind?
*We return to the tank as the song is finishing really hardcore-like. The tank is red, you can't see through the water any more. We go back to Nelly one last time. He holds up the X-Division championship, it's wet and drips red onto the canvas.*
Nelly: Are you so blinded by this- this thing? This title? People ask me why I don't want to be champion. I'll tell you. I came to nCw to purify it. I came to help you all see the face of god, but I realized that there was something in the way. I realized that something was blocking you from stopping your petty rivalries, your lust, your avarice, your sloth, your gluttony: the sins of wrestling. There was something that was blinding everyone.
*Nelly tosses the belt forward on the canvas; it lands, wetting the area around it. The camera focuses in before going back to Nelly. He looks blankly into the camera.*
Nelly: I touched the face of god Xavier, and then I came here to show you all the way. I came to purify the masses. Instead I got roped into a title, now I'm supposed to purify this? It's like purifying poison. Turning it to water. Sunday Xavier, I'm facing you. Believe me, on my end, this title has nothing to do with it. I just want you to realize that we are fighting the same battle. If you want the title, come take it, but it will not bring you the salvation you secretly desire. I and the Revolution can lead you there Xavier. I'm fighting for your forgiveness, and for the salvation and purification of this sport. Come at me with all you have got Xavier, because when the blood of the innocent is spilled, that's when sins are cleansed.
*The camera fades out.*
