Purpose and Distinction
Sorry for the whole new age PC thing people. Apparently sitting out in the rain for too long can give anyone, even someone in impeccable health, a cold. Though the doctor I saw told me I was real lucky in avoiding pneumonia, but I'm not so sure. Not that I did that on purpose or anything. I may be considered by most to be crazy and perhaps suicidal, but I'd like to not think of myself as an idiot. But, back to the cold, I was told to take a rest and save my energy, especially my voice. Ergo, this blog thing. I've heard of it, sure, but I was never quite sure of how to do one. Took me a full hour yelling at of the NCWs "best" tech support guys to figure out how to do this. Well, where shall we begin?
A lot of people have been hounding me simply because they don't understand. They play the "yer keeping secrets cuz yer dum hurr hurr" card. They think that we have to be lying because we can't be true to our purpose, so here it is, for the final time, in as plain english as I can possibly make it.
Lance's Dream[/i]
Lance's Dream for the Age of the Revolution was to return wrestling to the way it once was. The simple days when everyone fought with honor and courage. If you got a title shot, you thanked the people who made it happen, went out there and did your best, and when it was over you could hold your head up high with a job well done. If you won, you took your place at the top, knowing that everyone would now be looking to you for inspiration, knowing that you would now be the shining example for the people watching at home. If you lost, you bowed out, took a place at the back of the line and worked hard until you got another chance. At least..
That was the idea.
Everyone says that it was never about that. That it was really about Lance. And the people with the shallow clouded minds will always think that. Unfortunately, your failed logic is shattered by a bullet labeled Joe Everyman. Lance was the first NCW Champion, and the first to hold the belt twice. If he wanted it, he could demand it. But no, he used Joe Everyman as a beacon of light for the future. Someone who deserved better than he was getting, but the egos of others were holding him down. He fought the establishment, for someone else. Something people like Ace, JFK, Steve Awesome and Spike Kane never would have done. So, mock Lance for being selfish, because you don't know a damn thing about it.
Corruption[/i]
When Lance gave it up for good, the Revolution was lost. Joe's laziness was cast aside for Jackhammer, but in the end, that didn't help. Adam couldn't hold it together alone, and the aid of Trent Helms was nothing more than a hindrance, so where would we go from there? Enter, the Social Enemies. We saw what was going on. We saw through the veil. Believe it or not, Angel and I have been around for a long time. And we already watched one promotion die by the hands of a cancer caused by people like Ace, and Spike, and Trent. We love NCW, more than ourselves. Say what you will, it doesn't mean anything coming from you.
Nothing.
Which leads me to what we had to do. You see, when you say you're going to save people, and they don't believe you, you can't simply do what you say you'll do, and be done with it. You need drastic actions. We needed to show you what you were doing wrong, by doing it to you. Now, we became the very evil we were trying to prevent. And you labeled us as such, refusing to see the why, just the how. You were supposed to change, you were supposed to band together to save NCW from us. But instead, you banded together to claim credit for stopping us. Even when you said it was about the love of the sport, it was still about you. None of you have changed. Ace, JFK, AJ.. you're all still the same people, fighting for yourselves, under a new name. So shut your *** damn faces. You won't win, you won't stop us, you won't even come close. As I see it, the only people close to stopping us, are ourselves.
The Social Enemies[/i]
As far as the actual Revolution is concerned, they need to remember one thing. Adam.. Kelly.. Angel.. is not just my friend. Angel is my brother. You fire Angel for not being your puppet, and I will make you pay. I will make you pay in ways you can't even begin to comprehend. You could always fire me too after that I suppose. But hey, it's your loss. Angel and I will always be the Social Enemies, whether you want that or not.
And as far as Steve is concerned, there's little else to say. Soverign is less than a day away. I'll be over this cold by then, meaning that I'll be ready for you. The question for you is..
Will you be ready for me?
Love, as always..
Falcon.

Song: My Funeral - Dope
-------------------------------------
If someone else showed you the way
Would you take the wheel and steer?
It hurts me that you're not ashamed
Of what you're doing here
If they jumped off a bridge
Would you meet them on the ground?
Or would you try and claim
That it never made a sound?
Everyone plays the hand their dealt
And learns to walk through life themselves
Not everything in life is, handed on a plate
When people think your words are true
It doesn't matter what you do
I sold my soul to get here[/i[
How about you?
So you choose to force your hand
What a strange way to make friends
And you always change the rules
So the drama never ends
And you blindly go through life
Judging only by what it's worth
Just try not to forget
That the meek inherit Earth
Everyone plays the hand their dealt
And learns to walk through life themselves
Not everything in life is, handed on a plate
When people think your words are true
It doesn't matter what you do
I sold my soul to get here[/i[
How about you?
So please don't take offense
This is just a point of view
Cause I'm the only one
Who will say these things to you
Everyone plays the hand their dealt
And learns to walk through life themselves
Not everything in life is, handed on a plate
When people think your words are true
It doesn't matter what you do
I sold my soul to get here[/i[
