The scene opens up inside of the Joe Everyman locker room. Maria Williams and Scotty Callaway are sitting on the couch. Maria is in her wrestling gear, as she had just gotten done with training for his match this week on Suspense. Maria seems to be deep in thought, while Scotty is more relaxed.
Maria Williams: Scotty...
Scotty Callaway: Yes, Maria?
Maria Williams: Do you think I'm a good wrestler?
Scotty Callaway: ...uh...well...
Maria Williams: You can just say it...you can be honest.
Scotty Callaway: Well...I'll say this. You used to be really good, but ring rust hit you harder than puberty is going to hit Justin Beiber.
Maria lightly laughs at what Scotty said, but is still not pleased with the result.
Maria Williams: I know...I just wish I could figure out someway to get good. I've trained more than any other women in this company, I don't joke around as much, I try to be more serious...but nothing seems to work.
Scotty Callaway: Maybe that's your problem...maybe you need to joke around more, maybe play some video games like Zelda does.
Maria slowly turns her head towards Scotty.
Maria Williams: You just want me to play cause you keep kicking Joe's ass in Hydro Thunder.
Scotty Callaway: Well...yeah, but he needs to get better at that game!
Maria then quickly stands up and faces Scotty.
Maria Williams: What could my problem be? Is it that I'm too focused on my family to win? Or maybe that I'm too focused on Joe not getting hurt?
Scotty Callaway: It could be alot of different things.
Maria's expression quickly changes to one more of anger.
Maria Williams: What is that suppost to mean?
Scotty Callaway: I...uh...
Maria, out of nowhere, hits the Tribute Kick on Scotty, sending him flying over the back of the couch. Maria still seems a tad angry, as Scotty is slowly clawing his way up the back of the couch.
Scotty Callaway: Ugh...I think...I think we found it...
Maria Williams: What are you talking about?
Scotty Callaway: I pissed you off...and out of nowhere, you tried to kick my head off. Maybe that's it. Maybe you need to get angry.
Maria Williams: You really think so?
Scotty Callaway: Of course! Half of wrestling is your ability to get into people's heads. I mean, look at Joanne. She took alot of shots at you. Did they make you angry?
Maria Williams: A little bit...
Scotty Callaway: You need to let them make you angry! If they do, then you'll be able to unleash your anger too.
By this time, Scotty has crawled back onto the near side of the couch.
Maria Williams: So...I just need to be angry, and never back down?
Scotty Callaway: Exactly! You can do it.
Maria Williams: I'm not really an angry person though.
Scotty Callaway: Well, if you keep that attitude, you'll never win again.
Out of nowhere, Maria hits the Tribute Kick on Scotty again, sending him over the couch.
Maria Williams: So I need to get angry? Ok, I can do that. You see, Joanne did really get to me this week. She's beaten me before, and I don't plan on letting that happen again. I'm the only female wrestling in nCw to have defeated a man. Yes, I pinned a male wrestling in the ring, not only once, but twice! What does that have to say about the others here? See Joanne, and Roxi too, I'm just standing to warm up. Do you think Stone Cold Steve Austin just won all of his first matches? No. Did Triple H? God no, he got murdered by the Ultimate Warrior. Not everyone has the best starts in this industry, but still come out and fight no matter what. And eventually down the road, they start becoming legends. But, maybe this is a good strategy.
I mean, look at some of the great early bloomers. Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesner, Bill Goldberg. They all had great starts to their careers, but down the road, they just fizzled out. I don't want to be like that. What I want to be like, is well, Trish Stratus. Look at how she was. Multi-time Women's champion. And her career never dipped. I want mine to be like that. I want to go out every week and pick up a win, regardless of who it's against. I may not have millions of dollars like you do Joanne. And I sure as hell won't need to hide behind my man like Roxi does. I'm ganna come out there this week and give it my all. I will not allow you, Joanne, to get another win against me. You may have gotten the best of me last time, but that will not happen again. If everyone wants to see me get angry, then that's what they'll get!
Scotty is slowly sticking his head up over the couch again, but collapses behind it. The camera then focuses on a very determined Maria as the scene fades to black.
Maria Williams: Scotty...
