OPENING
Oh yes... it's that time again.. again. Your weekly dose of Kelly, your weekly dose of NCW-awesomeness, The Knitelife. Where you can come for so much NCW news it'll make your head spin.
Let me start off by saying we had a great turnout for Trauma and Collision again, it was fantastic seeing all those fans in the seats cheering their heads off. Secondly let me say, the match that Competition Committee came up with is crazy, and I mean good crazy, wow... that match could go on forever.
So we should get to that poll from last week shouldn't we? It seems everybody has a soft spot in their heart for this Destructor kid. Not a bad choice, the kid has shown some real talent, however it looks like Freakke, Shawn Styles, and Tommy Victor have the first shot and proving the poll wrong this Sunday. Should be interesting, if none of those three can get it done at Reborn I could totally see Destructor with some gold around his waist.
Now to this week's poll o' greatness, lets see where should we go. I don't want to do a favorite match poll or a title changing hands poll. This is an interesting conundrum. Oh well, screw it. What match do you think is the most interesting? As in, what match just has you the most compelled to order the PPV to watch because of the story behind it.
We've got Keybo who is valiantly fighting for the rights of Cleopatra and Ayla, we've got Seth Evans continuing his crusade against Chris Diamond. Those would be great choices, but then we have the Main Event which features Adam and **ithead and you know the story behind that (innocent grin). However we also have the beautifully understated matches such as DDK and JFK fighting over JFK saving Velez's National title from DDK and the fued between good friends Will Washington and Philip Burns over Burns choosing Falcon as his tag team partner instead of WW.
This should be an interesting poll to see what you guys are all interested in. Now before I move on... if you've heard any rumors about me sleeping with Steve... they're not true... Zelda.
REVIEW OF LAST WEEK
We had some good shows this week, I really think they came off well. Trauma was very solid as always, this week it may have been more than that actually. I dare say it was right up there with Collision despite it's shorter format. We had a fantastic match between two of the young stars Styles and Destructor which was outright fantastic. Then we had the huge upset with Freakke beating Joe Everyman, Gabriel Karras taking on Sephiroth Du Lac for his tag team partner Tempestad and finally we had Zelda Knite and Emma Danielson the two women who are fighting this Sunday for the World title in a tag team main event. Come on people, that was a show, and I'm serious when I say it may have topped Collision this week.
Now, that's not saying Collision was bad, oh it wasn't, it was far from it actually. The main event speaks for itself with the two Young Gun members giving the two former World champions a run for their money, but where this show shined was in the undercard. I really enjoyed Alex Jones taking on Doc, and the tag team match featuring the former Dirty Deal... was a great sight. However, the match that stole that show... Ayla defying the odds and winning a handicapped match. That lady has been fantastic lately, and you've gotta admit my dad sure knows hot to pick them, if it wasn't for Zelda she would be the face of the Women's division right now.
With that said, it's time for a score. Man I seem to be giving too many shows 8's and 9's, but come on... how couldn't I? Ok ok, this week I'm going to try and be way more strict with my scores, so lets say 9.2 for a score?
PREVIEW OF THIS WEEK
Last Week's Record :: 10-1 :: Oh my God are you kidding me!? Wow! Ok... I'm opening up my business where I pick lotto numbers! Who wants to be my first customer?
Overall Record :: 81-42 :: oh yeah, how do you like that one!? If I may toot my own horn, but that's fantastic.
UotW Record :: 5-6 :: I got one match wrong.. one... and it was the freaking upset of the week!? Gah! It knocks me back out of .500.... oh well I guess, upsets aren't supposed to be sure things I guess.
WIRED
Singles Match
Venom vs. Andrew Jacobsen
This is a tough one to call, just call it a women's intuition. I really think it could go either way, should be a PPV match.
Tag Team Match
Ron Gibson and Nathan Doe vs. Joe Everyman and Destructor
I hate voting for Everyman, but he does have Destructor on his side.
Three Way Match
Tara Fenix vs. Freya Ragnal vs Joanne Canelli
She's really good. What can I say?
Tag Team Match
The Gotham Platinum Club vs. Motor City Mafia
Can't vote against the former tag champions against the new guys.
REBORN
Managment Battle
Singles Match
Drake Tyson vs. Keybo Shabaz
Keybo is fighting for a good cause, he's trying to let these ladies live their lives how they want, Tyson is trying to be a dick. So I'm going with Keybo.
nCw X-Division Championship
Guantlet Match
Alex Jones vs. Evil Freakke vs. Shawn Styles vs. Stefan Rzany
Hey... he's not a two time World champion by having things handed to him, he's used to fighting through the odds.
Grudge Match
Singles Match
JFK vs. DDK
DDK has been rolling lately, and he's pretty mad about JFK ruining his chance at the National title, I think he gets his revenge.
nCw Xtreme Championship
Hardcore Match
Doc* vs. Tommy Victor
Doc is just too to lose to Victor here at Reborn. The man already has two successful title defenses under his belt, this will be another one.
Grudge Match
Three Way Match
Sephiroth Du Lac vs. Gabriel Karras vs. Tempestad
Call this a hunch, but I think Karras and Tempestad will not be focused enough on him in this match and he'll get one over on them.
!!!UPSET OF THE WEEK!!!
nCw Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
Falcon and Philip Burns* vs. Will Washington and Ian Kline
Man, I hate picking against Falcon, and I'm probably going to regret this... but I just think Will Wash has too much to prove in this one. He wants his first taste of NCW gold, bad.
Grudge Match
Singles Match
Seth Evans vs. Chris Diamond
Diamond used to be a great wrestler back in the day, but he hasn't done it in so long, he just can't keep up with the fresher and younger Evans here.
nCw Womens World Championship
Singles Match
Zelda Knite* vs. Emma Danielson
I really feel like breaking my "don't vote against Zelda" rule after her temper tantrum Sunday, but she has a history of beating Danielson and I've rode her tidal wave this far.
nCw National Championship
Cell Match
Xavier Cross vs. Charlie Velez*
You can't underestimate my father and the resources he's willing to supply to the people who do his bidding. The Young Guns have talent.. but they can't fight against an entire company.
nCw World Championship
Survival Match
Angel* vs. Steve Awesome vs. Adam Knite vs. Brad Kane
So.... I'm not picking this match as it would be totally bias on my part and will likely just screw over my record when my dad finds a way to screw Adam out of a victory. Sorry guys.
Well there you have it, my predictions for this week. Last week I said I was going to come out and get at least eight right, well I topped that by two. This week I'm not so sure, it's always hard to pick pay per views, but I feel good about my picks.
THE FAB FIVE
5. Sephiroth Du Lac :: Hey had a tough match against Karras, Tempestad's partner and friend, but he pulled out a win.
4. Adam Knite :: Pinned Venom and managed to keep the match as civil as possible with Steve, I'm proud of him... even though he should of broke Steve's neck.
3. Alex Jones :: That was a great match with Doc and it was a great win for the X-Division champion.
2. Freakke :: He beat a three time National champion and did it fairly easily. I'm telling you, Freakke is turning the corner in NCW, it's only a matter of time.
1. Ayla St. James :: Gutsy performance and defied the odds to get a win.
WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
Every pay per view week, this becomes the hardest thing to do, singling out just a few things for you fans to take note of. There are so many great matches and so many great wrestlers on these shows, that you just don't know where to start.
Firstly, let me just say watch Wired folks... there are a couple of Pay per view quality matches on there, it's basically getting an NCW pay per view for free on your computer. Venom versus Andrew Jacobsen? Come on.
This "Survival Match" may take off like the Showcase match did, so I'd make sure and watch the very first one. It should be fantastic. Let me put it like this, it's the first ever Survival match and it features the four best wrestlers in NCW right now all going for the World title. It's going to be good people.
Then there is Stefan Rzany, Lance Ryan's attempt to get back into the NCW gold scene should be interesting. I don't know when he'll enter the Gauntlet, but I can tell you this, he's going to make that match one of the best of the night no matter what.
Finally, you better keep you eye on this Charlie Velez and Xavier Cross match, these two men are not wanting to hurt each other, they're wanting to kill each other, literally. It should make for an amazing match inside that cell. I doubt it can contain them.
THE KNITELINE
K.Anderson; Green Bay Wisconsin
"Hey there Mrs Knite.....Knite.....I have a question for you. See I am a long long loooonnnggg time fan of NCW and I was wondering who do you think is going to step up and throw down the gauntlet to the young guns and who do you think will succeed against them?....greetings from MMMIIIISSSTTTTTTEEEERRRRRR ANNNNDDDEEERRRSSSOOONNN.........ANDERSO-"{answering machine tape ends}
It seems that Andrew Jacobsen has made it his personal crusade to try and take the Young Guns down all because of what they said to Zelda, that's a sweet guy right there.
JimmySmitts...and still definitely not Obsidian; Wal-Mart parking lot
"Hey Kelly, if one were to ask Zelda Knite what her favorite flower was, what would she say? And...I guess you too?"
I swear I answer more questions about Zelda than I do anything else in this column... but fine... her favorite flowers are daisies and mine are white orchids.
Derek Slater; Allentown, PA
Hey Kelly, I know you already had that first-time champion poll, but I wanted to know who on the roster you think'll be a first-time World Champion by the end of the year.
Another question: What one match do you think is the most iconic match in nCw history? The obvious choice is the first World Title match, but I wanted to know what you thought.
By the end of the year I fully expect to see Xavier Cross as a world champion. And to answer the second question, I think it has to be the first ever Coliseum match. Nobody had ever seen one and the way those men fought for a shot at the gold was incredible.

What's with the nCw being filled with nerds? People like Zelda and Destructor! shouldn't be wrestling, they should be at Nerd Conventions or something! Tell both of them to get a room and play some Dungeons and Dragons, or something.
You do realize that Zelda has topped the NCW merchandise sells for the past two months don't you? She and Destructor are going to be main stays in NCW for a long time, because the fans love them. This is what they want to do, so let them.

Hey, Kelly! First off, I just want to let you know that I bought my tickets for all three nCw shows this weekend! Front row, and I am so syked for this! I can't wait to finally see nCw live, I hear your guy's shows are 100 times better then on TV, if that's even possible.
Now to my question. First off, congratulations on the new baby girl! I so excited for you! But what I have to ask you is in regrds with the current living situation for you and the new baby. I was wondering what kind of role models do you think Steve Awesome, and even your dad for that matter, make for such a young child? Two men who wouldn't think twice about taking the low road to get what they want in life, at least that's how they seem on TV, surely it isn't a positive thing for a young infant to look up to. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks, I'm very happy to finally be a mom, especially since it's with Adam. Now, believe it or not, but Steve and my Dad are actually really good with Ryleigh. It could because they know I'd hurt them both if they tried to fill her head with their stupid antics, but I think it's because deep down they have a soft spot for kids, my dad has wanted a grandchild for a long time.
MY CLOSING THOUGHTS
First thing.. Happy Birthday to Chris Kane, he turns 13 today. Zelda asked me to give that shout out to Brad's kid.
Freakke has been impressive lately and now he has a win against Joe Everyman to show for it. Watch out for this guy, he's going to make some waves soon.
Again... Andrew Jacobsen taking on Venom, should be a pay per view match, it almost seems a shame to be giving it away for free on the preshow.
I am not sleeping with Steve! I hate Steve for what he did, I hate my dad for going along with it. I want me and Ryleigh to be home with Adam and not being locked into this house at nights. So no matter what you hear, don't believe it.
Who is this Ian Kline guy? Apparently he's good enough to win this big tournament Will Washington had, but not much is known about him. His first NCW match and it'll be for the tag titles, it's going to be interesting to watch him.
This is going to be the second time both Brad Kane and Adam Knite are going to be in the Reborn main event.
Make sure to support Keybo in his match, it's not right what Tyson is trying to do.
Well that's all I've got for this week NCW fans. Make sure to order Reborn, you won't be disappointed. Until next time...
