"Oh Robert, you think you're so clever. What do you think is going to happen? I'm going to just quit and forget about you? Hahahahaha.. No. It doesn't matter how much power you have, what kind of matches you can make, what stupid jokes you can pull out of your smarmy ass.. it will never change the simple fact...
I'm after you.
You think this is my first dance, Rob? The first time someone who held power over me used it to keep me down? Of course you don't, because you grew up hearing about Chris's exploits and in turn my own. You heard about how I took all the punishment they could dish out and just kept coming. So come on Bobert...
Do your worst.
Handicap matches? Why stop at two? Why not Falcon versus the Young Guns.. or Falcon versus the entire Front Office? Falcon versus the entire roster? Come on, I'm sure you have more sinister ideas than the obvious. So, let's hear it. It doesn't make a damn bit of difference to me. I'm going to survive. I'm going to fight through all the crap you can throw at me. You know it, and I know it. So, why don't we just skip all the garbage and get down to the brass tacks? You and me...
Picture Perfect.
We'll settle this like men. Don't worry too much about the details yet, but I'm sure you're figure something out. Or you'll suffer a psychotic break knowing that there is nowhere you can hide from me.
Nowhere.
It won't matter what you put me through. What kind of brutality your warped mind comes up with. I'll just keep on walking through the fire, with a smile on my face, because I know what's waiting down at the end of that road... You."
(Adam Knite left the door, exhausted from the constant arguing with Zelda. He leaned his head back against the wall and closed his eyes for a second. He opened them when he realized he wasn't alone. Falcon was standing to his left, also leaning against the wall.)
Falcon: How is she?
Adam: She's ok. Still won't believe a word I say.. still won't listen.. she's being a stubborn..
Falcon: You know you don't mean that..
Adam: But she is...
Falcon: That's how it seems to you. But in her mind, she's justified. She may have a skewed view of whats been happening, she might not, but either way she does have her reasons.
Adam: Why can't she just trust me... you know..?
Falcon: It's not about trust. She's only doing this because she cares. She thinks your in trouble, and she's trying to help you. You'd do the same for her, wouldn't you?
Adam: In a heartbeat.
Falcon: Well, you're going to have to accept that she may still be your little sister, but she's old enough to make her own decisions, and I think that all she's asking for is for you to come to terms with that. Stop telling her what to believe and who to trust, and start listening, you know?
(Adam looked at his old friend, remembering the wars they'd fought, both with and against one another. Then he sighed.)
Adam: Sometimes I wish there was a magic button that would make all of this go away.
Falcon: You should try Staples...
Adam: Oh that's cute.
Falcon: Yep. But, you know.. if there was a button, we'd never grow as a species, and we'd still be beating each other with clubs. Almost as much fun, but twice as useless.
Adam: You paint the prettiest pictures with your analogies.
Falcon: Oh trust me, I could have done worse.
Adam: I'd imagine so.. well, I'm going to go see if I can steal a few minutes with Kelly.
Falcon: You do that.
(Adam walked off, leaving Falcon standing outside the door. He looked at it, and sighed.)
Falcon: Well, what's the worse that can happen?
"Ahhh.. good old Xavier Williams. You know, when Rob came out and made this match, I was rather glad he made you a part of this. I know most people see Xavier Williams and they have two reactions. People who've never faced a determined Xavier laugh him off as some sort of joke because of that 'what have you done lately' attitude. But the people who know respect the man for what he's capable of. How quick he is, how strong he is, the sheer brutality he can bring when he has his game face on. I'm part of the latter. And the reason I'm glad that it is you, is because I know you possess the honor to do the right thing. Some people would see this as a chance to remove me from the roster to increase their own worth. Kick me while I was down, try to injure me to a spot opens near the top for them. But you're different. You'll do what you have to do to beat me, and that's it. And that's..
Precisely what I want.
You want to make a statement that the real Xavier Williams is back. The ass kicking, Pepsi drinking behemoth that can defeat even the best wrestler on any given day. The odds were stacked against me even before the second wrestler was added, that much I'll admit, and to be perfectly honest with you...
I couldn't be happier about it.
I said before nCw needed people like you. People who aren't afraid to stand up to the bullies and cowards that hide behind their status and power. And here's your chance. I'm going to do my best to push your limits Xavier. Going to do everything I can to break you, so you'll rise up stronger than before. I know that's what you would want. I can't promise much more than that. So, it'll have to be enough. I know this doesn't sit well with you, being used to further someone else's agenda. But that's how this will go down. All we can do is deal with it, you know? So, for old times sake.. let's just have it out.. and let the better man walk away."
(Falcon opened the door to the room. Zelda was inside, in the process of picking herself up off the floor, sitting there wiping her eyes. She looked up when he entered, giving him a weak smile as he sat on a bench close to her.)
Falcon: He still won't listen, huh?
Zelda: Not a damn word gets through.
Falcon: At the risk of sounding like a bad eighties movie, I think you need to sit with him and have a quiet talk. A wise man once said that yelling was the quickest way to being ignored.
(She looked up at him, making a face.)
Zelda: A wise man? Tell me you read that off a fortune cookie or something.
Falcon: Actually, it was the last bit of wisdom my father left me... before he uncerimoniously told me he never wanted to see my face again.
Zelda: I'm... sorry to hear that..
Falcon: I'm not. I made a choice that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.. or until I couldn't anymore. He made a choice that I was no longer worthy of his love, and neither one of us were too stubborn to move from our beliefs.
Zelda: I'm supposed to find a moral in this, aren't I?
Falcon: Maybe. The point being that you're both screaming at the top of your lungs to get your point across, and everything gets lost in the noise. You both have half of the perspective, and when you care as much as you do, you forget the ones you love don't see things the same way you do.
Zelda: Yea.. I know.. it's just.. it's hard when someone doesn't listen.. you know?
Falcon: Yea.. I know.. but I think this is one of those times where anger only makes the gap wider...
(She looked away, considering it. Then got up off the floor and sat next to him on the bench.)
Zelda: I just wish he'd stop treating me like I'm a child. Like his opinion is the only one that matters.
Falcon: It's not an easy task you know...
(His voice trailed at the end, giving her the impression there was more meaning in that statement than he intended. She looked over at him, watching his face for several silent seconds.)
Falcon: That's why it happened..
Zelda: What?
Falcon: Last Sunday...
(There was an uncomfortable silence. She waited for him to go on, he waited for her reaction.)
Falcon: I've always treated you as a woman, Zelda, even though sometimes it doesn't sound like it. Truth be told I almost couldn't do it. It wasn't that I didn't want to.. but.. your first time has to be special.. and now.. no matter what happens in the future.. this is set in stone.. I'm sorry.. if it upsets you.
Zelda: I wouldn't have done it.. if I didn't want to.
Falcon: I saw that when you took my hand. I just.. I don't want you to think I used you as some sort of tool to get at someone else. You don't deserve that kind of thing, and I'd never even consider doing that to you. You're a good friend, and I don't want that to change.
(She leaned her head on his shoulder.)
Zelda: Just promise you're telling me the truth...
Falcon: Always...
"And also thrown into this sordid mess, is a fresh faced recruit, probably eager to make an impact and show us all that he's serious. Well, I'm sorry that it has to be this way. See, on the surface this looks good, Max Meyers gets his first match in the main event of a show against a former World Champion. The stuff dreams are made of, right? But everyone knows this is a set-up, something done to hurt me, to make me suffer and because of that, any impact you might make is lost. You think Diamond's going to sit back in his comfortable chair and thank you for whatever pain you put me through?
Yea... right..
He's going to have his eyes focused on me, watching me suffer every kick, punch and grapple I get put through. Laughing his ass off the entire time, because he set all of this up. He's not going to care how much power you have, you can throw me completely across the ring and all he'll be concerned with is how much it looked like it hurt. He's not going to care how technically sound you are, all he'll be concerned with is the pained look on my face during every hold you put me in. And he won't care when you win either, all he'll care about is the fact you didn't hurt me more. Welcome to New Championship Wrestling amigo, I'm sorry you had to get thrown into the Lions den from the get go. And don't expect anyone else to be impressed by this, either. Fox will be too concerned watching his new plaything oil his abs. The rest of them.. I doubt they even watch the programming. So, basically your first match will be worth about...
Nothing.
But don't worry. I'm sure everything will work out fine for you in the end. Well, unless you start with the corny jokes and kill any possible respect you might have. So, as long as you avoid that, I think you'll be alright."

Can't you see, It's not only me
That feels we're linked to the seas
Make your way, to a massive grave
It you can't fight for each day

Torrential rain at the helm of death
It drowns the weak, battering the rest
Black walls of waves pummel to capsize
The roaring thunder overshadows our cries
Spires of lightning thrown down from the Gods
Melting skin even in the deluge

We crawl out from the wreckage
Fingers dig into the sands
Of the shores
Everything we worked for
Is ripped apart and ruined
Drowned deep beneath the dying world
The earth begins to open up
Into the Mouth of Hell we March
Now you see, for it is we
Who walk the fire and breathe
Make our way, out of the grave
And lick the blood from our blades
I will try
To pour all of myself
Into this life before I die
If I go before my time
Then take these words
