OPENING
Hello loyal readers, I'm especially happy to have you here today... today marks 52 straight weeks of a Knitelife column for you, that's right... one year baby! One year of consecutive columsn for your viewing pleasure. Go ahead call up all your friends, and loved ones, have them over for a party and lets celebrate the occasion. Next week I plan on doing something huge for the PPV week of the column and it marks exactly our one year anniversary. So make sure not to miss that one.
This week we have a good deal of NCW action to go over and I want to get right into with the PPV right on the horizon so there isn't much time to waste. We saw a lot of action this past week and I know you want me to start going over it, but first... to the polls.
Last week we went over what feud seems to be the most interesting to you right now and no surprisingly Rob Diamond taking on his brother Maniac won, but it was insanely close and for good reason. There are so many choices, so many fights that look like they are about to get even more heated at any second and none are bad choices at all, but in the end, I think I agree with you. A good reason being that this Rob Diamond versus Maniac fight has really drawn in two of the other choices. Desiree taking on Zelda and Harold versus Steve. So really it's like three huge feuds merged together.
This week, in honor of one year of Knitelife columns I'm going to ask all of you to vote on this poll over the job you think I've done over this past year, how much have you enjoyed my column on a scale from 1-10, with of course 10 being the highest. Go ahead, give m your honest opinion I can take, but now we have to move on.
REVIEW
The shows were fantastic this week, I've gotta say it, they were just very good. Trauma continued to be a very solid show like it does each and every week. Especially when we have matches like DDK versus Brad Kane to kick off the week of action. That just shows you how exciting the shows are going to be. It was a great match and a great victory for Brad Kane, but then to make things even better we got to see Portia Roberts pin Hexx thanks to a bit of help from Spyke, but none the matter seeing the women pick up victories over men is always nice.
Speaking of Spyke and Trauma... it's good to see a real NCW Hall of Famer getting a much needed victory in a huge match. He didn't go through weak opponents that's for sure, and managed to pin Andrew Jacobsen to end the thing. Watch out everybody if Spyke starts to get rolling, even though I've gotta say I'm very disappointed with Jason Blair's effort in that match. He's supposed to be back and bringing the Guns back to full force and he lays a big egg... really disappointing.
Collision this week, just amped up all the action, there weren't any twists or turns really but there was a lot of building to this week and the weeks after. Any show that ends with a Spiral Tap from the top of the ladder to the outside and the crowd... is going to be something to remember for a long time. Alex Jones, Charlie Velez, and Falcon may just kill one another before we can even get to Crossroads. Their fight probably made the announcement that Gib would be returning to the ring this week to face Maniac seem like small talk.
Rob Diamond and Lex Sense stole the show with their X Championship match which really gave the fans everything they could want and more. Rob holds onto the belt, but at what cost... it was sickening to see his brother's crony Harold do what he did.... pathetic really. I hope those guys really get what's coming to them. Or other title match was just a hair less awesome as we crowned a new Women's World champion. Congratulations go out to Roxxxie, I didn't think she'd get Trish a second time, but she proved me wrong. It's good to see her win her first title ever after she changed her life and became a professional wrestler. It's a complete 180 from where she was about 10 years ago, hard work paid off.
In closing, the shows were fantastic this week. Johnny Holliday decided to pull his goofy Johnny Holliday crap at the beginning of Collision, this thing between Brad Kane and Chris Gardner... I'm not even sure what to think of it, and Simon Daye picks up his first singles victory in the company. It made for something really special this week. So A.
THE FAB FIVE
5. SIMON DAYE :: He picked up his first NCW victory and it wasn't against some random slouch, it was against the current Honor Champion and on of the fastest rising young wrestlers in NCW today, Chris Gardner. Impressive for a man who is looking to stake his claim at greatness.
4. STEVE AWESOME :: He picked up the win for his team by pinning Alex Jones, the man who is looking to force his way into an NCW World title match. Impressive victory, espcially considering both of his partners wanted to kill him.
3. ROB DIAMOND :: He defended the X Championship in one of the two title matches on Collision and get a hell of a fight from Lex Sense. He managed to pick up the victory and maintained that championship.
2. PAUL STAR :: He took on Everybody's favorite midget in Ander Carvetti who is always one of the toughest opponents in the ring for anybody. Great victory for Paul Star and brought some legitimacy to his and Hunt's Tag Title victory over Carvetti and Holliday, for those who questioned if he deserved the belts.
1. ROXXXIE :: She came out with a purpose, to finally be a world champion and the former porn star and escort managed to end the reign of one of the most dominant women's wrestlers in NCW today. Congratulations to her.
PREVIEW
LAST WEEK'S RECORD:: 9-2 :: Hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I had a couple of less than steller weeks but I came right back here. I really wanted to put my faith in Roxxxie to pick up the world title, but I went against her and dang... she made me pay for it.
OVERALL RECORD:: 63-22 :: A great record, and I hope to only improve it each and ever week, I've only gotten better since last year and I think it's safe to say I'm becoming an expert at this.... you know just staying humble.

WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
:: ZELDA VS. NEWBORN :: It's the two women who made the NCW Women's division what it is today in their first ever singles match against one another. Newborn has a good chance of beating Zelda here and completely legitimizing her Women's title reign. Zelda... well she has the chance to pick up just another victory.
:: MANIAC VS. GIB :: This is Gib's chance to get Maniac, Desiree, and Harold off his families back, this is his chance to rid himself of that menace, but the catch is if Maniac wins... Gib's career is truly over. No more Sheriff... the future Hall of Famer must leave NCW for good... this would be a horrible thing to have happen. Gibby is my “big brother” he better win.
:: ANDREW JACOBSEN :: Ever since he lost to Steve Awesome it's looked like he's been searching for a purpose, desperately trying to get back on the right track here in NCW. Teaming with Ander seems to be giving him a bit of confidence boost and this week he gets to try and beat Jack Manson which could really prove to be a great career boost for him.
:: EVERYSENSE :: Well, this is their chance to prove they are a legit team. If they can beat Steve Awesome and Rob Diamond... nobody can ever say they aren't a real team ever again. The pressure is on, can Joe Everyman and Lex Sense answer? I'm sure Lex can, he proved he can hang with anybody when he faced Rob Diamond this week... Everyman on the other hand? He's known to wilt in the toughest situations, should be interesting.
THE KNITELINE
Marianne G. - Beaumont, CA
What is your opinion on Christian Gardner's beginner luck wearing off, as he scored two consecutive and embarassing losses to Homeless Harold and then EverySense? Is the golden boy losing his mojo, or the betrayal of his friends was his kryptonite?
:: Well one loss wasn't on him as Simon Daye gets DQed, and Homeless Harold is one of the best, he can beat anybody. Chris Gardner still has a very bright future here.
Allen K. - Fort Worth, Texas
Kelly, don't you think Brad Kane has been unfairly joked on and treated during his entire career in nCw? Do they not realize what this man has done for them? I'm his biggest fan and I hope all his haters drop in a lake of acid.
By the way, Kelly, whoever designed you on nCw 2011 make your titties way too floppy for not having any.
:: No, I think he gets what he deserves most of the time. From his sex antics on live TV, to his constant retirings, I mean really, you can't blame people for that. Also... Hey! I have boobs... there just not as big as my damn head, nor fake... like Mercedes'.
Nuufolau Seanoa; The Isle of Samoa
Which Kane brother is more overrated and why?
:: They're both about the same... both retire a lot, both become running jokes... both decent enough wrestlers.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
:: So Mercedes makes her debut in NCW. I hate Mercedes... I hope Crystal Hilton breaks her neck. I really do.
:: Congratulations to Simon Daye on his first NCW win, impressive one against Chris Gardner too.
:: I can't believe what Harold did to Rob Diamond this past week. There was so much blood, and Zelda was very distraught backstage. Crazy ass almost took Harold on herself...
:: Why do people always dissapoint me? Jason Blair was supposed to come right back and not miss a beat...
:: It really is good to see Roxxxie as the Women's Champ. She's put a lot of work into this.
:: Speaking of that, Newborn as a great champion, she did not disappoint in any way as the champ.
:: We get to see the debut of Demetrious Young this week, I've been given word that he's a great talent and is a welcome face to the NCW roster. We've got a lot of young faces coming in right now, that's always a good thing.
Well fans that's all I have this week, I hope you enjoy the column and have loved the past year of this. Until next time...
