So, I figured I would post my review of Transformer: Dark Of The Moon, which I recently watched.
I'll try to avoid some Spoilers and what not, but be warned, if you haven't seen it, there will be some Spoilers.
So the movie starts somewhat Slow, introducing us to Sam and his new girlfriend, atleast they actually make mention Megan Fox character broke up with him, instead of them just trying to play her character with a new actress.
Alot of Backstory involving the first flight into Space, If there is one thing I hate in movies, is that if it's something they discovered before, why hasn't it been referenced in a movie before, I would think Hey, we found a Transformer on the ****ing moon in the 60 should of been mention before, but oh well, what do you expect for a Michael Bay movie...
Explosions, Explosions, Explosions and reclippings from his crappy 2005 movie, The Island, you know what was great about that movie, Scarlett Johansson Sex Scene and massive cleavage!
Anyways, Decepicon show up, Sentinel Prime is revived by Optimus, then he turns, We're all doomed, Ironhide Dies, which actually made me a little sad, and left me with a what the **** look on my face, I also noticed there isn't Rachet in this movie.
So, Mcdreamy is working with the Decepticons, and the Autobots are exiled, as they are leaving Earth, Starscream blows them up, MEGA SCORE FOR STARSCREAM!
So, Tyrese, Shia and Fergus Husband, and random Special Force people try to get into Chicago, all other attempts to get into the City are denied for the most part as anything flying near it, get shot down.
Lots of cool Special Effects, Megatron get made to look like a bitch by Sentinel, WTF! Lots of Army Guys...
Starscream tries to kill Sam, complete with Megatrons calling him Boy, however Shia kill him, as if I didn't hate him enough, he kills my favorite decepticon, **** You Michael Bay!
Most of the Autobots are captured, and there actually is a touching moment, where it looks as if Bumblebee will be executed, while Bumblebee isn't one of my favorites, I actually felt sad over this, so I give the writers prop for this, but Optimus Shows up just in the nick of time.
So, big battle comes, now suddenly They can shoot missiles into the City, why didn't we do that like 40 minutes ago!
Anyways Optimus ****s **** up, until Sentinel Prime gets involved, the New Girl, actually calls Megatron a bitch to his face.....seriously....He gets up and beats the crap out of Sentinel, who cut off Optimus arm, however Optimus decapitates Megatron....Okay Seriously, this is pissing me off.
Optimus kills Sentinel, the end.
Good: No Megan Fox, Does Recapture some of the Emotion of the first flim, Alan Tudyk is a badass in it. McDreamy Dies.
Bad: McDreamy is still in it. Megatron Demoted To Full Bitch, Starscream killed by Shia Labouf
Final Verdict: It was a improvment over Revenge of The Fallen, which was a one and done type movie for me, and was for the most part watchable, and had it moments, there were times I actually felt things felt really grim for the heroes.
I'm glad they cut down on some of the pointless comedy aspects that felt pushed into the second flim, but still was there.
I would give it a 7/10, While it was good, still didn't capture the emotion that the first one bought to the table, but was defiantly better then the Second Flim, which felt like it dragged way too long.
