THEME: "Have it your Way" by Mudvayne
{Collision comes rushing onto the screen as the roaring crowd of wrestling fans are on thier feet screaming for the continuation of the Road to the Gold tournament. The camera pans the crowd before settling in on Dave Holland and the guys ready for the night’s action.}
Eric Hardy: Welcome NCW fans, as you know the Road to the Gold started last night and the first round will come to a conclusion here.... Dave Holland, as last years Winner, what is it like to be one of these wrestlers in this first round of action?
Dave Holland: Well Eric, I have to say the first round might just be harder than the last match... Trust me, I’ve lost the opening match and I’ve made it all the way through so I might know better than anybody else. Nobody and I repeat nobody wants to be the person that gets kicked from the first round, after you get past that you tend to relax and just focus on the match at hand... it’s a very trying mentally more than anything else.
Eric Hardy: Last night we saw eight people four men and four Starlets who were able to advance... with the big upset being Charity Case defeated former Starlets champion Emma Danielson. Do you guys see any upsets like that tonight?
Willy Carter: If I had to pick one match that I thought could be an upset I’d have to look towards Caleb Lockwood or Nina Watts... both have the ability to win at any time... but both have very tough draws.
Dave Holland: Good choices Willy... well fans, there’s no time to waste on a night like this, our first match is a classic matchup that features the man who was actually in the finals of the first ever Road to the Gold taking on another man known for coming up just short in the big moments, it’s Davey Ortega versus Joe Everyman, coming at you right now!
Eric Hardy: What a match... this is going to be fantastic!

RTTG STAR BRACKET MATCH THREE
Davey Ortega vs. Joe Everyman
Singles Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Dave Holland: This is going to be a real honor for me, as a former Road To The Gold Winner, to see it from this end, and call the action.
Eric Hardy: And at Road To The Gold Six, Joe Everyman is looking to finally reach the brass ring.
{'Back in the Saddle Again'' hits the speakers as the fans have a mixed reaction. Davey Ortega comes from the back and stand on the entrance way looking to the ring, then eying both sides of the crowed. He walks down the ring with confidence, making his way up the stairs to the apron, he walks to the middle of the apron and turns to acknowledge the fans, raising his hand for a photo opportunity before he gets into the ring and waits.}
Willy Carter: Here is Davey Ortega back, to choke again.
Eric Hardy: This is the man, who was the runner-up in the original Road To The Gold.
Willy Carter: Like I said, Choke Artist!
{Ortega stands in the ring, and holds his hands up, to a bit of Fanfare, Everyman holds his hands up as well, but get nearly nothing, Ortega smiles, and Joe quickly nails a kick to the stomach, Ortega stumbles to a knee, as Everyman, angry at his most recent woes, begins to stomp away wildly at Ortega head, not even allowing him a chance to get to his feet, finally Everyman, tugs Ortega up to his feet, and grabs Davey by both hands, around the neck, and tosses the much smaller Founding Father of nCw, into the corner, before driving his shoulder into the gut of Ortega, clearly once again, showing signs of Ring Rust.}
Dave Holland: This isn't the Davey Ortega, I remember, who I waged wars with, as a opponent and a Tag Partner.
Willy Carter: The years haven't been kind to Davey
Eric Hardy: That and you have a extremely hungary Joe Everyman!
{Everyman charges in, and nails a charging Back Elbow, directly to the face of Ortega, who falls down, Everyman yanks him up, and Snapmares him to the ground, before running off the ropes, and hitting a stiff Lariat to the back of a seated Ortega head, as Everyman powers into the cover, One....Two....Ortega finally shows signs of by kicking out, Everyman then yanks Ortega up, and whips him into the corner, at full force, as Ortega back slams hard against the Turnbuckle, Everyman still not giving Ortega a chance to breathe, pie faces him back into the turnbuckle, before hitting a stiff shot to the jaw of Ortega, before pulling him up on the turnbuckle, before climbing up, looking for a Superplex!}
Willy Carter: Joe is going to break the back of Ortega and send him back to wherever he popped back out of, in the first place.
{Everyman hooks Ortega head, for the Superplex, but Ortega plays defense, and begins to nail shots to Joe's face, looking to do everything he can, to stop this, but Everyman overpowers the smaller man, and begins to snap him over, but Ortega pulls his weight down, sitting back down on the turnbuckle, before biting the nose of Everyman, that causes him to clutch his face, in pain, as he slips off the turnbuckle, Ortega begins to try to mount a offense, but Joe, cuts him off again, hopping to the top rope, for a huge Belly To Belly, but Ortega shoves him off, and to the mat, as Everyman hits hard, when Ortega flies off the Top Rope, driving his head, into the shoulder of Joe Everyman with a huge Diving Headbutt!}
Dave Holland: Ortega with a huge diving Headbutt!
Eric Hardy: And Ortega won his last match in nCw, with that very same move!
Willy Carter: But will it be enough to put down Everyman?
{Ortega holds his head, as Everyman is screaming in pain, gripping his shoulder, Ortega moves over for a cover, One......Two......Three......Everyman throws the shoulder up, right before the count of three, as Ortega wanted that to be the end of this, Ortega scoots up to his feet, and retreats into the corner, looking at Everyman, who is struggling to his feet, as he grips the ropes, looking for the Setting Sun, Everyman drops down to a knee, when Ortega takes off, but instead of trying the Spear, instead hits a beautiful Spinning Neckbreaker, driving Joe down to the mat, as Ortega, jumps up, and points at his own head.}
Eric Hardy: The last time, Ortega came back, he would seem to have a match in control, and everytime, the Setting Sun would be countered.
Dave Holland: But Ortega adjusted and hit a nice Swing Neckbreaker.
{Ortega pulls up Everyman, and hooks him up for the Saturday Night Ride, but Everyman is much too heavy, for Ortega to flip him over, as Everyman laughs, and Elbows Ortega in the head, hard, before kicking him in the stomach, and hooking his head for the Twist Of Fate, Ortega powers off Everyman, who hits the ropes, and looks to decapitate Ortega with a Lariat, but Ortega runs under it, hitting the ropes, as Everyman turns around, Right into a Setting Sun!}
Dave Holland: Setting Sun, and this one is over.
Willy Carter: No....Dammit
Eric Hardy: The Sun just set on Joe Everyman chances in this tournament.
{Ortega goes for the cover, as he breathes a sigh of relief, with the victory, One.....Two......Everyman kicks out of the Setting Sun?!?!?!?!?!?!}
Dave Holland: Not possible....I've felt the Setting Sun, and it is a devastating move.
Eric Hardy: No Doubt, but Everyman showed that legendary heart of his!
{Ortega can't not believe it, as Everyman holds his stomach in pain, as Ortega slicks his hair back, still in utter disbelief, and backs into the corner, and grips the ropes tightly, and screams for Everyman to get up, Ortega charges as Everyman turns around, but Everyman ducks, and hits a Huge Spinebuster, before floating down into the cover, One!!!!! Two!!!!! THREE!!!! NO ORTEGA KICKS OUT AT 2, and now Joe is in utter disbelief!}
Willy Carter: That was Three, Clearly that was a three count!
Eric Hardy: No today, Everyman and Ortega, continue this long battle, to see who can advance to the next round of the Tournament!
{Ortega holds his the back of his neck in pain, as Everyman is looking at Mitch Kennedy, to verify that it was only a two count, He then stands up, and stomps the back of the neck of Ortega, before dropping down, and putting him in a Dragon Sleeper Ortega screams, as Joe, puts the pressure on, but Ortega is quickly able to get to the ropes to break the hold, Everyman screams for Davey to just Choke and Leave, before yanking Ortega up, and grabs him for a Suplex, but instead of turning it, into a Twist Of Fate, instead lifts Ortega up and positions him for the Everyman Screwdriver, but Ortega kicks his feet, coming back down, and catching Everyman with a Small Package, One.....Two.....Three!}
Willy Carter: NOOOOOOO!!!!
Dave Holland: DAVEY ORTEGA ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT!!!
{Everyman, can't believe it, as he kicks out, but the three count has already happened, as Ortega quickly slides out of the ring, with a victory in hand, as Everyman stomps angerily around the ring, still in utter disbelief, and stares a hole in Davey, who holds his arms up in victory on the ramp, as he head to commercial break.}
-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]-------------------------
Willy Carter: Time for the eye candy! Bring on the ladies!!
Dave Holland: The women have as much stake in this tournament as the guys and up next is the first RttG match of the night involving the ladies.
Eric Hardy: Interesting story behind these two is that they have been building a relationship outside of the ring. Will that transfer into the ring? Time to find out.
Willy Carter: Shucky, ducky, quack, quack!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STARLET RTTG MATCH FIVE
Megan Sanderson vs. Kris Titan
Singles Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{As 'Night by Night' by Chromeo begins, Kris Titan comes out from the entryway and stops for a moment before she begins to dance walk her way to the ring, giving high fives to various fans and lip syncing to her own theme song. She eventually gets in the ring and goes to a turnbuckle, climbing up the middle and raising her fists into the air before jumping down and waiting for the match to start.}
Eric Hardy: Kris Titan has been in NCW before but only briefly. Now she's back and looking to build a name for herself in the big leagues after successfully building one in the minor leagues.
Dave Holland: I've seen this girl wrestle in the Indies. She's good, very good but she must've picked the short straw because she's taking on a woman that can be as brutal as the man she's seeing.
{The opening of "Milkshake" by Kelis begins to blare through the arena as out steps Megan Sanderson. A scowl is on her face before she dances down to the ring, slapping away every hand that she possibly can. Once at ringside Megan walks around the ring, still slapping away hands of the fans to a terrible amount of boos. After walking around she hops up onto the ring apron, nodding her head to the music before going into the ring. Megan goes to the nearest turnbuckle and jumps to the second buckle as everyone is calling her every name in the book. She hops down and blows a kiss at Kris before waiting for the match to begin.}
Willy Carter: Megan Sanderson's got them credentials to take this tournament all the way, yo.
Dave Holland: Being trained by Brad Kane and Lex Sense means she's picked up a few tricks that could help her.
Eric Hardy: You could tell she has mixed feelings going into this match and those mixed feelings may play a part in this match.
{The bell is rung and Kris and Megan just stare at each other from across the ring. They both slowly walk up to the center of the ring and embrace in a hug, slapping hands in a show of respect before beginning to circle each other. They move in for the Lock Up and begin a little back and forth until Megan muscles Kris into the corner. Megan continues pushing Kris up against the turnbuckles until the ref comes in and separates the two. Megan raises her hands in the air and backs away, smiling at Kris who smiles back.}
Eric Hardy: Unusual for Megan to just give up the advantage like that. Her feelings for Kris might be getting in the way.
Dave Holland: There's no doubt that the feelings are there but Megan is still a competitor. She might be taking it easy but the fire in her will soon light that ring up.
Willy Carter: No diggity, no doubt.
{Kris comes out of the corner, shaking her arms lose before going into the Elbow to Collar once again. Megan and Kris battle it out in the middle of the ring until Megan begins muscling Kris up against the corner again only this time Kris drops down and, using Megan's own momentum, sends her over with an Arm drag. Megan rolls to her feet and charges Kris but Kris catches her and flips her unto her back with a Japanese Arm Drag. Megan rolls to her feet only to stand upright into a standing dropkick to the face that sends her backpedaling into the corner where Titan runs in with a corner running Yakuza kick that clips Megan across the face! Megan falls face first to the mat where Kris hooks the leg and 1... 2... MEGAN KICKSOUT!}
Eric Hardy: And it looks like Kris starts things off with the offensive here nearly getting an early pin. Very nice.
Dave Holland: Megan may need to reconsider her feelings towards Kris or they might cost her big.
Willy Carter: Megan know what's up. She asked Kris to hit her as hard as she can. Feelings ain't got nothing to do with this.
{Kris gets back to her feet and allows Megan to get to one knee. Megan checks her lip and then smiles towards Kris. Titan tries to go for the punt kick but Megan dodges it and then grabs Kris' one leg still planted on the mat and yanks her off of it. Kris hits the mat and Megan rises to drop an elbow right on her chest. Megan then takes her by the head and brings her to her feet only to nail a stiff European uppercut followed by a series of kicks to the side of her ribs. Kris is kicked back into a corner and by the time Megan is done kicking, she drops to a knee where Megan takes her by the head and then hooks the leg to send her over with a T-Bone Suplex! Megan then hooks the leg and 1... 2... KRIS KICKSOUT!}
Willy Carter: Told ya'll. Megan came right back with that fire.
Eric Hardy: She ended her assault with a T-Bone Suplex. Is that unusual for Megan?
Dave Holland: Not since hanging around Sense it's not. Kris is in a bad way right now.
{Megan begins pulling Kris up by the hair but then catches herself treating her like an enemy so she lets go and backs away, allowing Kris to get to her feet on her own. Once standing, Kris nods at Megan and things pick up as Kris charges with a surprise reverse roundhouse kick that catches Megan upside the head! Megan drops like a bag of bricks from the impact. Kris hits the ropes, rebounding off them to gain more momentum and as Megan is groggily getting to one knee Kris kicks her head off again with her "Titanium Spike"(Bakatare Sliding Kick)! Megan looks to be in a land of confusion and Kris crawls over her for the pin and 1... 2.. MEGAN KICKSOUT AND THEN IMMEDIATELY ROLLS HER UP IN A SMALL PACKAGE AND 1... 2... KRIS ROLLS THE SMALL PACKAGE IN HER FAVOR AND 1... 2... MEGAN KICKSOUT!}
Dave Holland: Back and forth pins going on right now. I'm amazed Megan can even concentrate after so many kicks to the head.
Eric Hardy: It appears to be Kris' offense and a very good one at that.
{Both ladies roll to their feet and Megan goes for a swift clothesline but Kris Matrix dodges and then stands upright, running towards the ropes and bouncing off with her "Status Quo"(John Woo) but Megan sidesteps out of the way and drops an elbow as Kris was crashing to the mat for double the impact. Megan then brings Kris back to her feet and Strong Whips her into the corner. Kris' back crashes against the turnbuckles and she begins stumbling out where Megan attempts her "MS Backfist" but Kris ducks it and as Megan spins through, Kris grabs her by the back of the head in a Hangman's Neckbreaker but instead of dropping Megan on the back of her head, Kris spins into place and elbows Megan in the temple with her patented "Ego Smasher"(Hangman's Elbow)! Megan goes limp from the blow and falls on her side as Kris backs away to gain some distance.}
Willy Carter: This Titan girl hits hard.
Eric Hardy: That she does as Megan is finding out firsthand.
Dave Holland: Friends or not, these two ladies are putting it all on the line.
{Megan is forcing herself back to one knee as Kris signals for the end to a cheering crowd. Megan looks to be in la la land and as she gets to a knee, facing Kris, Titan charges in with her "Winter Funeral"(Boma Ye) but Megan is able to get the hands up to block the vicious knee to the face, spinning as she rises to her feet behind Kris, locking Titan in a Half Nelson and then exploding her over unto the back of her head and neck with Sanderson's "Impending Doom"(Half Nelson Exploder)! Megan crawls and then leans against Kris and 1... 2... 3!}
Willy Carter: Megan is about to win the whole damn tournament.
Eric Hardy: Settle down, Willy. She only won one match and there's still plenty off roadblocks ahead of her before she actually wins the tournament.
Willy Carter: Kris definitely has some moves that might make her a future contender in NCW but congratulations go out to Megan tonight.
{"Milkshake" hits the speakers as Megan just lays on top of Kris. Both ladies are beat up but that doesn't stop them from embracing on the floor, kissing each other before helping one another to their feet. Kris raises Megan's hand who still looks to be groggy and then both ladies retreat backstage together.}

RTTG STAR BRACKET MATCH FOUR
Alex Jones vs. Curtis Kanyon
Singles Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{"This is CONFRONTATTTTIIIOOON!"}
{The start of "No end in sight" By Killswitch engage comes over the PA, the lights dim down as strobe lights follow the first few seconds before the guitar riff explodes."The American Nightmare" Alex Jones emerges in a long sleeveless vest coat, Shelly Jones his wife and manager makes her way down with him, Alex leaps up onto the ring apron, climbs between the ropes and throws his arms out in a jesus pose}
Dave Holland: “Jones has a chip on his shoulder, and the Road to the Gold is defiantly a good way to get it off.”
Willy Carter: “Alex Jones is old news. Kanyon is a true high riser!”
Eric Hardy: “As long as AJ comes in here with a good attitude, and not walking around thinking the world owes himself for something he did in 2009, then he might have a chance. But my money is still on Kanyon.”
Rage in my heart crossing the forest riding my black horse
Across the valley along the river where the hot blood flows.
Over the lakes and over the hills I follow the call of the wind uphold the legend and for my princess I will fight and win
"Lord of the Thunder" by Rhapsody hits the speakers as Curtis D. Kanyon emerges from the curtain. He has a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder.
Holy flame burn again for eternity burn my heart to win.
The holy war is awaiting another fiery king
Curtis pounds his chest with his fists then raises the hammer in the air. He walks down to the ring, nodding to the fans. He grabs a sign from a fan in support of his cause, and shows it to the camera!
Lord of the thunder please be my guide
before and after my last ride
I'll be your soldier serving the light
riding forever alive and proud
Curtis then climbs into the ring and goes to the turnbuckles. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest, then screams "The archangel is here! Prepare for the glory of battle!" He points to the crowd with his hammer, then hoists it straight up into the air and yells "BANG!" He then gets down and awaits the match to start.
Dave Holland: “Listen to this crowd; they’re easily pro-Kanyon tonight, nothing like Hammer Time.”
Eric Hardy: “That you MC Holland for that interesting tid-bit.”
Willy Carter: “Look at the specimen, Kanyon is too damn focused.”
The ref calls for the bell, and CDK comes out swinging. Catching Alex Jones with a huge forearm smash, he forces Jones into the corner. Jones is caught off guard, as Kanyon begins sending a hard shoulder into the midsection of Jones. Alex regains some awareness, and throws a forearm smash into the center of Kanyon’s back, followed by a low knee to Kanyon’s side. Jones comes out of the corner at the staggering CDK, and catches him with a huge left, staggering Archangel into the ropes. Jones charges forward, but CDK ducks lofting Alex over the top, who catches himself on the apron. Kanyon turns around and his caught with a hard shot that causes a cracking noise to echo through the arena. Kanyon is floored, as Jones uses the ropes to leap over, landing a stomp onto the chest of Kanyon.
Dave Holland: “Kanyon came out swinging, but Jones has regained full momentum.”
Willy Carter: “He looked rattled, and then took over, color me impressed.”
Eric Hardy: “You’re already coloured.”
Willy Carter: “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!”
Jones turns, lifting Kanyon to his knees aiming to continue the hurt. He sends a hard kick to the calf of CDK, followed by a hard right. Kanyon staggers back, but charges forward catching Alex Jones with a clothesline, Jones pops up, but Kanyon is prepared catching Jones in his arms with a Bear Hug. Kanyon wrenches the hold; Jones lets out a scream before clubbing Kanyon across the face, which causes Archangel to drop Jones, who follows it up with a high enziguri catching Kanyon to the side of the head.
Dave Holland: “Alex Jones is keeping Kanyon on his toes tonight, every move has been countered very successfully.”
Willy Carter: “I’ve also knocked out Eric Hardy for the time being….racist ass cracker.”
Dave Holland: “Alright…back to the action!”
Jones is back on the offense, laying a series of boots on Kanyon. Alex reaches down, grabbing Kanyon by the hair pulling him to his feet, throwing him shoulder first into the corner, which slides through smacking against the post itself. Kanyon staggers out clutching his shoulder, as Jones charges forward. But Kanyon out of desperation ducks, lifting Jones into the air, who flips and lands in a tree of woe in the corner.
Dave Holland: “I’m pretty sure Kanyon just defied physics with Alex Jones’s body…”
Willy Carter: “I…er, how does that even happen?”
Clutching his shoulder, Kanyon turns around laying the boots down to the chest of the upside down Alex Jones, who is struggling to get his feet unhooked as he takes the punishing stomps from Curtis Kanyon. The ref eventually gets in between the two, allowing Jones to fall forward getting himself out of the tree of woe, as Kanyon shrugs, rubbing his shoulder again before throwing his arm up for a huge pop from the crowd. Jones struggles to stand as Kanyon charges forward, Jones ducks out of the way running towards the ropes rebounding off it, he charges forward but Jones catches him with a knee to the midsection, grabbing him by the arm, Jones hits the ‘Time to Burn’ out of nowhere, Kanyon crumbles to the mat, as Jones falls on top of him for the cover.

Dave Holland: What a win by Alex Jones here!
Eric Hardy: Alex Jones is viewing this tournament has a chance to finally put his name at the top of the elite NCW wrestler list... a win like this will go a long way towards that.
Willy Carter: The question now of course... who will he draw in the next round? It very well could be another former World Champion such as The Ace or Adam Knite.
Dave Holland: We have no way of knowing, but seeing how Alex Jones was out there tonight... I think he's ready for whatever is thrown his way.

SEGMENT
Rose Acantha
Still Coming
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The scene starts in the offices of Kelly Fox on Sunday night. Kelly flips on the light switch to find Rose Acantha sitting in her desk chair with her feet propped up on her desk.}
Kelly Fox: What the hell are you doing here? Don’t you know I have a restraining order against you and your so called “brother?”
Rose Acantha: Well I was within the distance prescribed until you came into the office Miss Kelly...
Kelly Fox: Well now you are not…so tell me why in the hell I should not have you thrown out of the arena and straight into jail.
Rose Acantha: Well I was hoping you would actually hear us out. {points to a stack of paper sitting on Kelly’s desk}
Kelly Fox: You can’t be freaking serious, I told you this before and I will say it again I have no intention of bringing you dysfunctional characters back into MY company.
Rose Acantha: I think you might want to.
Kelly Fox: Is that a threat? Do you realize you are talking to one of the longest reigning Starlets Champions in NCW history? You actually think you are going to be able to hurt me…ESPECIALLY without Nate in this office.
Rose Acantha: {yawns} Wow, Miss Kelly that was really nice but obviously your tunnel vision is getting in the way. You see Mr. Nate knew that you actually signing this contract would probably be an act of futility so the main premise of my cordial visit to your office is to deliver you a message.
Kelly Fox: {approaching the desk knocking Rose’s feet office in one defiant swipe} Really? So he is actually going to attack me if I don’t sign this contract.
Rose Acantha: {sitting back and laughing} Wow you really are self-centered aren’t you Miss Kelly? If actually take that tunnel vision off and look at the bigger picture and put yourself in Mr. Nate’s shoes you would realize that Mr. Nate wouldn’t lay a hand on you. For that matter I wouldn’t do the same to you either.
Kelly Fox: So if you don’t plan on coming after me, what in the holy hell do you plan on doing?
Rose Acantha: {getting up from the desk chair} Now that is the million dollar question…hell I don’t know what Mr. Nate has in store for you soon…real soon. But what I can tell you is that you are about to be is at war. And Mr. Nate equates you to an army general trying to quash a rebellion, and Mr. Nate and I are going to take great pleasure in watching you sit on the back lines watching helplessly as everything you built goes up in flames.
{with that Kelly Fox moves forward punching Rose in the face sending her back into the wall.}
Kelly Fox: If you think you can waltz in here and declare war on me you’ve got another thing coming bitch. I am the queen, the general, and everything you can dream up in between. If you and your brother had a problem with me rising to power then you should have stayed the hell out of the way. So I suggest you take your rotten carcass out of my office and out of the building and frankly if Nathan shows his sorry ass tonight I will see he is carted out of here either on a stretcher or in a body bag.
{Rose gets up wiping her face and then proceeds to let out a laugh as she steps toward the door. Before she leaves Rose turns around looking stone serious.}
Rose Acantha: You may have fired the first shot successfully, but the war is inevitable, and no matter what you say, or even do. No matter how many threats or legal actions you take against we are here to stay. We are the rebellion to your tyranny and until you clean up your act, we are an entity of YOUR organization whether you like it or not. So yes, be on the look for Nate because he may not strike tonight but he will be striking soon. I hope you enjoy putting out fires Miss Kelly because we intend on setting quite a few.
{With that Rose leaves slamming the door behind her…leaving Kelly Fox all alone fuming swiping the papers that comprise the contracts of Rose and Nathan off her desk in a flurry of white papers falling to the floor. We head back to ringside.}
Dave Holland: Nathan Webb and Rosa Achantha continue to be a thorn in the side of our owner, while up next we’re preparing for what should be a great matchup with Kathay Conway facing off against a rookie who is being thrown right into the fire.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STARLET RTTG MATCH SIX
Kathy Conway vs. Evelyn Dark
Singles Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{We focus on the beautiful Amber Ashe, as she announces the next match.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is a first round match in the Starlets Road To The Gold Tournament, where the winner will advance...introducing first, from Detroit Michigan....The Bluebird, EVELYNN DARK!
{"Zero" by The Smashing Pumpkins hits the VideoTron as a barrage of blue and yellow lights flash upwards from the bottom of the stage. A gentle mist creeps from the curtain and Evelynn Dark walks out confidently spinning her two police batons.}
Eric Hardy: Here comes the newest member of the Starlets Division, the young Evelynn Dark...
Willy Carter: Wooo...let's go Blue Tits!
Dave Holland: Bluebird, Willy, Bluebird!
Willy Carter: That's what I said...regardless, this is one hell of an opportunity for the rookie...
{The lights in the arena start to twinkle with a green hue in time with the intro of 'Can't Break Me Down' by Exilia. Kathleen Conway appears on the stage with a hand on her right hip, alongside her husband who is wearing his light up jacket, amber tinted shades and carrying his steel roulette rake in his right hand. Kathy continues to walk down to the ramp, a little slower than usual and with a slight limp, much to the crowd's sympathy, she smiles.}
Amber Ashe: And her opponent...from Wichita, Kansas, being accompanied to the ring by The Ace...the Queen of Diamonds...KATHLEEN CONWAY!
{She gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee. She holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. She walks to the middle and flips her hair again with a hand on her hip as the lights return to normal and the music fades. Her husband demands a steel chair from a stage hand, and has it set up beside the announce table. He eyes Evelynn and her twin batons suspiciously as he takes a seat. Evelynn notes the steel rake and looks a little intimidated as The Ace smirks at her.}
{The referee disarms Evelynn and hands her weapons to a stagehand. The Ace calls the stagehand over and takes the batons off him, placing them in his lap alongside his rake, satisfied he motions for the referee to ring the bell.}
Eric Hardy: Looks like The Ace isn't taking any chances with his wife's safety here tonight....
Dave Holland: After what happened at Battlegrounds, who can blame him?
Willy Carter: The Ace has got a hold of Evelynn's batons, I bet he is the envy of so many men right now...
{The bell rings and the two women circle each other, seemingly feeling each other out, Evelynn eyes the left specially padded boot as her primary target, and goes for the kick, but Kathy was anticipating this and catches her leg, emphatically shaking her head.}
Eric Hardy: Evelynn going straight for the bulls eye on Kathy's ankle...
Dave Holland: It may not be fair, but its damn smart...
Willy Carter: Even smarter is the fact that Kathy saw it coming...
{Evelynn starts hopping on one foot, before she readjusts herself and strikes Kathy in the back of the head with a beautiful enziguri, Kathy hits the mat face first. Evelynn is back to her feet quicker than Kathy, and Kathy gets up in Evelynn's face, before slapping her hard across the face, Kathy then grabs Evelynn by her arm and whips her across the ring into the ropes and on her return, she scoops Evelynn up into a beautiful tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The young starlet arches her back in pain, as Kathy tries to go for the cover and end it early...}
Eric Hardy: You can see that Kathy is in a hurry to get this over with here tonight as quickly as possible...
Dave Holland: Given her injury, it might be her best strategy...
Willy Carter: Come on Blue Robin...you can do this!
{1...2...Evelynn kicks out, undeterred Kathy presses her advantage and tries again, 1...2, Evelynn again kicks out. Kathy takes a moment to think before pulling Evelynn to her feet by her hair...Evelynn screams as her hair is being pulled, the referee is warning Kathy and this distracts her long enough for Evelynn to escape Kathy's clutches by her only recourse, landing a stiff kick to Kathy's left boot. Kathy yells out in pain as she lets go, this time Evelynn presses home her advantage and delivers a second stiff kick to Kathy's left ankle, then a third, effectively utilising her martial arts style. The third kick causes Kathy's left leg to buckle under her and she is brought down to one knee in the middle of the ring. Evelynn runs in the opposite direction before rebounding off the ropes and striking Kathy right in the face with a front dropkick. Kathy goes down and seeing this, Evelynn springs to her feet and runs to a corner, leaping onto the top rope with her impressive agility, Dark then flies off the ropes and hits Kathy with a picture perfect moonsault....she hooks the leg for the cover...}
Eric Hardy: An impressive series of offensive moves by Evelynn Dark there...
Dave Holland: It's the first time we've seen the Bluebird fly inside an nCw ring...something tells me it won't be the last!
Willy Carter: Evelynn could cause a huge upset here!
{...1...2...Kathy kicks out....Evelynn seems genuinely shocked by this as she gets to her feet, Evelynn looks out to the crowd and takes a moment to take the crowd's appreciation before motioning to the opposite turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as she walks over to it and climbs the turnbuckle, she showboats a little as she waits, somewhat impatiently for Kathy to make it back to her feet. Evelynn is poised on the top rope, a bird in her perch, as Kathy stumbles slowly to her feet as The Ace is yelling at his wife some encouragement. Kathy slowly limps to the middle of the ring as The Bluebird flies and tries to strike Kathy in the face with a flying clothesline, but Kathy manages to catch her, an action that not only surprises Evelynn but also her husband as he puts the weapons beside his chair, gets to his feet and removes his shades. Kathy turns with the slightly taller and slightly heavier woman in her arms and winks at her husband before yelling out "Don't Count Me Out!", and throwing Dark behind her in a beautiful fall away slam...}
Eric Hardy: What a show of strength by Kathy here!
Dave Holland: Kathy sent a clear message there!
Willy Carter: The cat may truly be among the pigeons now...
{Kathy goes over and starts to stomp mercilessly on Evelynn's left ankle, perhaps as some measure of payback and to even the playing field by giving herself a target, Kathy then grabs the leg and looks out to the crowd, this gives Evelynn enough time to kick Kathy away with her right leg, after creating some seperation, Evelyn takes a page out of another well known bird's page and tries to roll Kathy up into a schoolboy....1...2...Kathy quickly kicks out in utter disbelief. The two women come to blows in the centre of the ring, and this time Evelynn gets the advantage, whipping Kathy across the ring into the corner, Evelynn runs at Kathy and in yet another remarkable show of agility, hooks Kathy's head as she springboards off the top rope and hits a beautiful 'Blue Tornado' DDT...}
Eric Hardy: Blue Tornado! Blue Tornado!
Willy Carter: Being from Kansas, I think Kathy is more familiar with how to deal with regular tornadoes, but not the blue ones...
Dave Holland: One has to believe that if Evelynn can capitalise here, its all over for Kathy...
{Seeing Kathy down in the middle of the ring, Evelynn rallies the cheering crowd behind her as she signals for her finisher, Evelynn skips over the fallen Kathy, runs and springboards off the middle rope and looks to strike with her version of the lionsault, but Kathy has it scouted and raises her knees right into the gut of the younger, inexperienced Starlet. As Evelynn goes down on her stomach, Kathy rolls away and slowly gets to her feet, she turns away from Evelynn, before grabbing both of her legs and crossing them over her own. Kathy then rolls onto her back, and hooks both of Evelynn's arms, pulling them back behind her, so Evelynn's back is arched and her head buried into the mat, completing the 'Kataclysm' Submission. Evelynn screams out in pain as the referee asks her if she wants to give it up. Evelynn emphatically screams "YES!" and the referee calls for the bell. Kathy's husband is in shock as Kathy release the hold and slides out of the ring as her music hits!}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner...KATHLEEN CONWAY!
Eric Hardy: KATHY DID IT! KATHY DID IT! INJURY AND ALL!
Willy Carter: And more importantly than that Hardy, Kathleen Conway begins her Road To The Gold!
Dave Holland: Unfortunately for young Evelynn, its a bad case of experience over youth, as Evelynn is eliminated from contention in the first round of what's shaping up to be an awesome tournament already!
{Kathleen Conway leaps into her husbands arms and as he catches her, he twirls her in celebration of her success, she in turn gives him a very long and very passionate kiss...}
Willy Carter: Oh please, get a room!
Eric Hardy: I expect they already have one, Willy!
Dave Holland: We'll be right back after these messages...
