MATCH FIVEFalcon and Stephen Kingsley vs. Curtis Kanyon and Xavier CrossTag Team Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The NCWtron is black. We then see Xavier Cross standing there. A bead of sweat drops off his face, and slowly drips. The camera zooms in as the bead falls into a small puddle, the lights in the arena grow dark. Then the music begins. We hear words spoken through the introduction part of the song. On the 'Boom!' part we see Xavier Cross step out from the back throwing his arm up, as the fans stand up in unison exploding with cheers. He begins his descent down towards the ring.}Amber Ashe: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Lexington, Virginia, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the NCW National Champion…XAVIEEEEEER CROOOOOSSSS!
Eric Hardy: After a truly spectacular win over Adam Knite to become National Champion, Xavier’s injuries caught back up with him last week. He’s looking to get back in the win column here, and I don’t think he could have had much better a partner if he wanted one.
{The rest of 'Diamond Eyes' by Shinedown plays as Cross high fives some fans before sprinting into the ring. He looks around, before ascending the turnbuckle pointing out to the fans who cheer madly. He kisses his tapped wrist that bare "CC" on either side, before pointing towards the sky. Leaping down from the turnbuckle, he leans backwards against it stretching while waiting for the bell to ring}Amber Ashe: And his partner…
{ "Lord of the Thunder" by Rhapsody hits the speakers as Curtis D. Kanyon emerges from the curtain. He has a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder. Curtis pounds his chest with his fists then raises the hammer in the air. He walks down to the ring, nodding to the fans.}Amber Ashe: From Asbury Park, New Jersey, weighing in at 260 pounds, he is the NCW X Champion, Curtis…D…KAAAAAANYOOOON!
Dave Holland: A tough loss last week against a very game Alex Jones for Curtis, but that isn’t going to stop him from coming out swinging here tonight.
Willy Carter: Naw, man. That boy crazy! He’s the right kind of crazy, though, and if I’m Kinsgley, I’m quiverin’ in my boots.
{He grabs a sign from a fan in support of his cause, and shows it to the camera! Curtis then climbs into the ring and goes to the turnbuckles. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest, then screams "The archangel is here! Prepare for the glory of battle!" He points to the crowd with his hammer, then hoists it straight up into the air and yells "BANG!" He then gets down and awaits the match to start.}Amber Ashe: And their opponents…
{As the drums and didgeridoo kick in, Cyrus Daniels and Stephen Kingsley walk to the ring as two men side by side with a purpose. Stephen has on his corked hat and his vest. Stephen uses the steps and before he steps into the ring, Stephen takes off his corked hat as an acknowledgement to the crowd and place it on the ring post.}Amber Ashe: Introducing first, being accompanied by Cyrus Daniels, from Queensland, Australia, weighing in at 315 pounds, Stephen Kingsley!
Dave Holland: Kingsley with a tough first-round matchup last week in Ken Davison, and the weeks just are not getting any easier for him, as now it looks like he has to take on two of NCW’s finest all by his lonesome.
{He steps into the ring and he takes off his vest and he hands it to an employee. Cyrus Daniels is in the ring with Stephen. He gives Stephen some last instructions before he steps out of the ring and onto the floor.}Amber Ashe: And his partner…
Count down the days until the end of the world...
{Smoke filters up from the exit to the back. The song begins, blasting right out of the gate. However, Falcon is nowhere to be seen. The fans’ cheers die down some as they don’t see him, and Kingsley looks to the ramp, gesturing in confusion. The music dies down as some of the fans begin to boo, and Amber confusedly queues it up again.}Amber Ashe: And his partner…
{“Mission Control” by Hail the Villain cues again, but once more, Falcon is nowhere to be found. Kingsley shakes his head in disgust as the song fades, gesturing to the ref to let him fight. Reluctantly, he nods, turning and signaling for the bell.}Eric Hardy: Falcon, of course, thrown out of the arena by our munificent CEO after assaulting Lex Sense with a chair. Kingsley got screwed by his partner’s hotheadedness.
Willy Carter: Who gives a damn? Dodo was a dummy, and now Kingsley’s gettin’ a bad matchup. It’s not right, I tell you.
{The team determines that Cross will start things off, and immediately Kingsley charges Cross as he turns around, taking him off his feet with a thunderous running big boot. Xavier gets to his feet, and Stephen quickly delivers a swinging neckbreaker to take him back down. Cross staggers up to his feet, and Stephen boots him in the gut, front facelocking him and lifting him up for a stalling vertical suplex! He keeps him hanging there, letting the blood rush to Cross’s head, before bringing him hard down onto the canvas! Kingsley immediately rolls him into a cover! 1! And a very quick kickout from Cross, who’s still trying to regain his balance.}Eric Hardy: A huge flurry of offense there from Stephen Kingsley, bringing his weight to bear on the National Champion.
Dave Holland: Putting pressure on the injured man is a good way to get things rolling on your side. I can’t say I like the intent, but I appreciate the strategy he’s showing. You need to take any advantage you can in a match like this.
{Kingsley hauls Cross off the canvas, delivering a crisp slap to the National Champion. It seems to ignite a fire in Cross’s eyes, and Cross lays in with chops, staggering the big man. He delivers a big right, but Kingsley shakes his head and grabs him by the throat with both hands, glaring down at Cross. Cross brings his arms up and out, breaking the hold, and grabs Kingsley’s head, delivering a jawbreaker! Stephen staggers, holding his jaw, and Xavier nails a spinning back elbow to the side of his head! Kingsley drops to a kneeling position and Cross runs to the ropes, jumping high in the air and delivering a knee drop bulldog! Kingsley drops to the mat hard and Cross, exhaustedly, manages to cover! 1! 2! And now a forceful kickout from Kingsley, who presses Cross off of him!}Eric Hardy: And just as quickly as Kingsley got an advantage, Cross is fighting back! What a phenomenal offensive combination!
Willy Carter: Trouble is, Cross is a one-legged man in an ass-kickin’ contest. Between his ribs and his leg, he’s half a man in that ring.
{Kingsley gets to his feet, shaking his head, and Cross pounds the mat, clapping to get the crowd into things. They begin to clap along, and Xavier shoots in, trying to hook Stephen’s arms for the CROSSIFIXION! Kingsley fires a back elbow into Xavier’s nose and Cross staggers back. Stephen throws a wild, looping right, and Xavier ducks it, hitting the ropes. Stephen shakes his head, getting his faculties back just in time to snap Cross over with an excruciating powerslam! Kingsley covers again, hooking the leg as Cross holds his back!
1!
2!
THR—NO! Cross BARELY kicks out in time!}Eric Hardy: Wow, Kingsley’s fighting like he doesn’t even care that it’s a handicap match!
Dave Holland: In this sort of scenario, all you can do is fight and pray you don’t get overwhelmed by weight of numbers.
{Both men get to their feet slowly, and Kingsley goes for another big boot. Cross ducks under, laying in a series of kicks to the side of his free leg. He delivers a left jab, then a right, and follows it up with a big European uppercut! Kingsley hits the mat back-first, and Cross grins, taunting before attempting a standing shooting star press to complete the Blood, Sweat and Tears! But Kingsley gets his knees up, driving them into the injured ribs of Cross! Xavier crumples, holding his stomach, and Kingsley holds his head as the ref looks between the two men.}Eric Hardy: Xavier going for broke there and it didn’t pay off, but will he be able to tag in Curtis?
Willy Carter: Come on! ‘bout time this match got itself an Archangel! Get your skinny ass up, Cross!
{Xavier rolls onto his side, trying to get his knees under himself, as Kingsley clambers to a knee. Cross sees this, and in desperation he manages to coil his feet under himself and launch towards his corner, barely tagging the outstretched hand of Curtis D. Kanyon! However, he does manage the tag, and Curtis ducks between the ropes as Cross rolls onto the apron, hitting the ropes and clotheslining Kingsley as he rises to his feet! Curtis pulls him up and whips Kingsley into the ropes, letting out a roar as he snaps the big man over for a tremendous spinebuster! Kingsley, amazingly, bounces right back to a vertical base, but Kanyon cuts him off with a kick to the gut and hauls him into piledriver position before spiking him off the canvas with a beautiful LANCED! Kanyon covers!
1!
2!
TH—And a kickout by Kingsley!}Dave Holland: I’m seeing some amazing resiliency from Stephen Kingsley here! He’s taking punishment that would put down many men on this roster and he’s still ticking!
Willy Carter: He’s prison tough! Man’s a straight thug! You think he’s goin’ down without a fight?
{Kanyon hauls Kingsley up by his hair and trash-talks him, which Stephen rebuts with a vicious headbutt. Curtis staggers back, doubled over and holding his nose, and Stephen hits the ropes, coming off with a big swinging neckbreaker! He holds on and pulls Kanyon up, shouting at him before pulling him up for a piledriver of his own on the much shorter Kanyon! Daniels grins, nodding and taunting Cross as Kingsley covers!
1!
2!
And Kanyon kicks out, holding his neck!}Eric Hardy: Stephen Kingsley won’t be kept down for long, and he proves it by planting Curtis Kanyon with that piledriver!
{Kingsley shakes his head and goes to deal with Kanyon, but, seeing the ref’s attention on Cyrus, Kanyon pops Stephen between the uprights with a low blow! The big man doubles over as Curtis gets to his feet, angry. He drags him over, bouncing his head off the turnbuckle before tagging in Cross. Xavier breathes deeply, wincing and massaging his leg as he gestures for Kanyon to push Kingsley further out. Kanyon nods and grabs a stirring Stephen by the head, delivering a big KANYON CUTTER! He hauls Kingsley back to his feet further from the ropes, and Cross nods, wincing as he jumps up for a springboard and flies into the ring to deliver the REDEMPTION DRIVER DDT to Kingsley! Once again, the big man is put down, and this time Cross covers, hooking the leg as tightly as he can!
1!
2!
THR—NO! Another narrow kickout by the big Aussie!}Eric Hardy: This is getting obscene! Kingsley’s been hit with all sorts of moves, there’s no way he can keep kicking out for much longer!
{Cross shakes his head, heading for his team’s corner. He looks back at the laid-out Kingsley and takes a few steps back, jumping up once, twice—BLIND TAG BY KANYON!—and a third time to deliver the AIR CROSS! But Kingsley rolls out of the way! Kingsley gets back to his feet, stuffing Cross into position, and signals for the Guilty as Charged! As the ref tries to tell him that Cross isn’t the legal man, Kanyon jumps into the ring and charges as he sets up for the jump, pouncing and catching him mid-jump by leaping over Cross to deliver a huge BANG! Kingsley hits the mat once again and Kanyon covers, hooking both legs!
1!
2!
3! The bell rings as “Lord of the Thunder” plays, Kanyon raising his hands in triumph.}Amber Ashe: Here are your winners, the team of Xavier Cross and Curtis D. Kanyon!
Eric Hardy: Not great odds for Kingsley, but he put up a hell of a fight! Still, this time the numbers game was just too much, even for a man of his stature.
Willy Carter: How much y’all wanna bet that he would have won if Bird-Boy had been here to pull his weight instead of running away after cheap-shotting Sense like he did?
Dave Holland: REGARDLESS of your theories on Falcon’s intent, it takes a lot of guts to go out there and compete against two men at once. Take nothing away from Stephen Kingsley, that was a tremendous performance tonight. Hat’s off to him.

MATCH SIXRoberto Verona vs. Mike LaszloRTTG Rising Star Match 6
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dave Holland: This next match should be a real treat for the viewing audience.
Eric Hardy: That’s right Dave. Match number six in the Road To The Gold Tourney pits two rising stars in Roberto Verona and Mike Laszlo, against one another with the winner advancing to the next round in the “Rising Stars” bracket.
Willy Carter: Both men are on a roll but it was a few weeks ago that Laszlo pinned Verona in a Triple Threat Match on Collision, and overall has two victories to Verona’s zero.
Amber Ashe: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is Match Number Six in the Road To The Gold Tournament!
The crowd roars in anticipation.
Amber Ashe: Introducing first…
The spotlights in the arena dim as the entrance screen flicks with static for a few moments and red and white lights begin to flash before "Smash the Control Machine" by OTEP erupts from the PA system causing the majority of the crowd to pop as Roberto Verona appears slowly and methodically from behind the curtain. Standing on the stage for a few moments Verona soaks up the atmosphere before raising a defiant fist into the air to the delight of the audience as red and white pyros explode either side of him on the stage. Lowering his hand he begins to walk down to the ring with purpose, turning his head side to side to stare into the crowd before climbing the ringsteps and stepping inside the ring. Making his way to the turnbuckle he climbs up as flashbulbs lights up the darkness before raising a fist into the sky again as the majority of the crowd cheer. Verona begins to shout as he pumps up the crowd before jumping off and beginning his pre-match warm up routine.
Dave Holland: Verona looks ready for this battle that’s about to commence.
Eric Hardy: Indeed he does. These two are two of the fastest rising stars we have here in NCW.
Willy Carter: I would say that Laszlo’s is rising faster seeing how he’s beaten Verona twice.
Amber Ashe: And his opponent…
"The Game" by Disturbed hits the sound system as Mike Laszlo walks out onto the stage to a mixed reaction. Surveying the crowd a smirk comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a slow confident walk, ignoring the fans along the isle who want to slap his hand.
Amber Ashe: Making his way to the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 247 pounds, he is the NCW HONOR AND X CHAMPION...MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
Mike slides into the ring under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd who give him a mixed reaction. Backing into the corner he clasps his hands and loosens his wrists waiting for the start of the match.
Willy Carter: Here’s my odds on favorite for this entire tournament!
Eric Hardy: He has been on a roll as of late. He defeated Verona and Joe Everyman a few weeks back, then he beat Xavier Williams at Battlegrounds, and despite a surprise from Caleb Lockwood, advanced to this round of the tournament.
Dave Holland: I’m glad the kid is taking my advice. I told him to stop bantering on me and show us all he’s a winner and he’s done nothing to disappoint.
Willy Carter: Don’t forget that he’s called out the champion the last two weeks.
Eric Hardy: That he has which led to the World Champion joining us last week. Nothing came of it until Laszlo talked to NCW.com as he was leaving last week.
Dave Holland: We’ll see if anything comes of it here tonight.
The two men stare each other down as the bell rings and the match begins. They circle the ring to the left before coming to the center and locking up in a collar and elbow tie up. The two jock for position but Laszlo uses his extra twenty pounds to push Verona back into the corner. The referee calls for a clean break and it seems as if Laszlo is about to give it to him.
Dave Holland: Great sportsmanship shown by Laszlo.
Suddenly, Laszlo slaps Verona across the face.
Willy Carter: HA!
Dave Holland: So much for that I guess.
Laszlo backs out of the corner with a grin on his face as Verona rubs the side of his own face. As Laszlo backs up he could be heard yelling at Roberto. “I’ve got your number Berto!”
Verona steps out of the corner and the two lock up again. Again, Laszlo pushes Verona into the corner causing the referee to call for a break. This time though, before Laszlo could even take a step back, Verona slaps him across the face, returning the favor from earlier.
Willy Carter: What the hell was that!?
Dave Holland: He’s just returning the favor.
Eric Hardy: I guess turnabout is fair play.
Willy Carter: Nobody asked you sucka.
Eric Hardy: Actually…
Willy Carter: SHUT UP!
Laszlo looks on a bit astonished before getting a bit angered and charging Verona in the corner. Roberto hits a back elbow that sends Laszlo back and in a spinning motion. As Laszlo turns, Verona hits him with a clothesline. Laszlo is quick to his feet, only to be hit with another clothesline, and the series repeats once more. This is when Laszlo rolls out of the ring to “regroup.”
Dave Holland: Perhaps he was caught off guard by the flurry from Verona.
Willy Carter: Perhaps you should shut up. He’s the favorite to win not only this match but the whole damn tourney.
Eric Hardy: Well then, why is he standing on the outside?
Willy Carter: Just clearing his head, calm down.
Laszlo gets back into the ring, holding onto the rope to prevent any interaction as he stares down his opponent. Laszlo then raises his arm into the air, extending his hand for a game of mercy. Verona obliges and the two lock hands. Laszlo gets the upper hand forcing Roberto to his knees. He looks down at his opponent who is wincing in pain and starts laughing. The smile is soon wiped from his face as the tables are reversed and now it is Laszlo on his knees. Eventually, Laszlo gets back to his feet, the two men with their hands still locked together when Laszlo pulls Verona in and drops to his knees, planting his own shoulder into the gut of Verona.
The two men’s hands release and Laszlo charges toward Verona, lifting him onto his shoulder, pushing him back into the corner before hitting a few shoulder blocks to Verona’s mid-section in the corner.
Willy Carter: Taking control.
Eric Hardy: That was some power to get Verona on his shoulder and drive him into the corner.
Laszlo steps back a few steps before charging in and hitting Verona with a running knee straight to the stomach area. Verona falls out of the corner holding his mid-section.
Dave Holland: This doesn’t bode well for Verona.
Willy Carter: Like I said, Laszlo is taking control. He’s found a body part and now he’s picking it apart.
Eric Hardy: WATCH OUT!
With that outburst Laszlo sends a nice kick to the side of Verona causing him to roll onto his back.
Willy Carter: That had to hurt.
Mike brushes Roberto’s hands away and goes for the first cover of the match but Verona kicks out at two.
Willy Carter: Just playing with him. This is great.
Dave Holland: You’re not going to put Roberto Verona down that easily.
Eric Hardy: No; but each pin fall attempt causes Verona to use his upper body to kick out resulting in an arch of the stomach which can’t feel good right now.
Laszlo gets to his feet and stomps at Verona a few times to the dismay of the crowd. He then picks him up by the head and hits him with another knee to the gut that doubles Verona over, then hits him with a huge European Uppercut that stands Verona straight up only to be slammed in the center of the ring. Laszlo then steps to the outside and ascends the top turnbuckle holding his arms up in the air ala the great Randy Savage and dives off with a Flying Elbow but instead of landing on Verona’s chest, does so on the injured mid-section, quickly hooking the leg for the cover as the crowd chants the legends name.
1!
2!
NO!
Willy Carter: How did he kick out of that?
Eric Hardy: Intestinal fortitude.
Dave Holland: Both men want to win this match. It’s going to take a hell of a lot to make either of them give up the goal of becoming World Champion.
Laszlo sits up and looks over his shoulder at Verona who is clutching at his mid-section and simply shakes his head. He gets up and starts to pull Verona to his feet but gets hit with a serious of punches to his own mid-section. Verona gets to his feet on his own and hits a couple of forearms to the head of Laszlo, seemingly rocking his opponent, but Laszlo strikes back with a huge knee to the injured area stopping the offense from Verona.
Laszlo lifts Verona into the air, looking to hit a Vertical Suplex but Verona brings the knee down over Laszlo’s head not once, but twice, and then falls to his feet. As Laszlo is staggered, Verona leaps in the air, grabs Laszlo’s head and plants him with a huge DDT, THE BRAINWASHER! He then goes for a cover of his own.
1!
2!
NO!
Laszlo manages to get the shoulder up off the canvas.
Eric Hardy: Such a quick move by Verona.
Dave Holland: Indeed but it’s not enough to put Laszlo away.
Willy Carter: Nothings going to put him away sucka. How many times do I have to tell you that he’s the odds on favorite?
Roberto gets up and immediately lifts Laszlo to his feet with a front face-lock. He jumps into the air looking to hit his “Requiescat In Pace” finisher, but Laszlo, using his ring savvy grabs hold of every bit of Verona he can and backs up with both men tumbling over the top rope and to the floor below. A “Holy S***” chant erupts as the two men both landed awkwardly on the floor.
Willy Carter: Holy crap!
Eric Hardy: We might need EMTs out here.
Dave Holland: Both men landed hard and awkwardly on that cement floor that has very little padding.
The referee’s count gets up to five before both men start stirring. Laszlo is the quicker of the two to get up as Verona’s knee hit hard on the ring apron during the fall. Laszlo rolls in the ring to break the referee’s count then heads back to the outside. He gets to Verona who fights back with a few punches to the face, but again, Laszlo goes with a knee to the gut that doubles Verona over in pain from the earlier focus and then hits Verona with a sharp stomp to the knee cap. Verona’s leg goes flying out from under him as the momentum sends him face first into the floor.
Willy Carter: Brilliant!
Dave Holland: It seems as though Laszlo has picked another body part.
Eric Hardy: What’s he thinking?
Laszlo looks at Verona who is slowly getting to his feet and then back over his shoulder at the ring post. As he turns back toward Verona, a sadistic smile appears on his face. He charges Verona and hits him with a hard knee to the side of the head that damn near decapitates Roberto. Again he rolls in and out of the ring before hoisting Roberto onto his shoulders and walking toward the ring post.
Eric Hardy: No!
Willy Carter: Shut up. If he breaks his leg then we don’t have to hear about Verona’s “revolution.”
Dave Holland: At the same time we would be losing a valuable piece of this roster.
Laszlo spins Verona off his shoulders and sends the midsection of Verona into the turnbuckle, actually wrapping Roberto around the post causing him to be laying under the ropes in the ring. Roberto starts to cough loud and strongly as Laszlo rolls in and pulls him to the center of the ring, going for a cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
NO!
Eric Hardy: Somehow Verona kicked out of that vicious, callous maneuver.
Willy Carter: Stop being a pansy Hardy.
Dave Holland: The resolve of Roberto maybe a little too much for Laszlo.
Laszlo shakes his head in frustration as he lifts Verona to his feet and into position for the Malicious Intent. Before Laszlo can bring his opponent forward however, Verona wriggles out and pushes Laszlo forward. Verona charges looking for the Legdrop Bulldog, but Laszlo saw him coming on the big screen and ducks out of the way. Verona manages to land on his feet, but grasps at his knee as he came down. As he turns to go back on the attack, Laszlo introduces his boot to Verona’s jaw with a huge Superkick, falling on Verona for the cover.
1!
2!
NO!!!
Willy Carter: That wasn’t three!?!?
Eric Hardy: Inches away from Laszlo advancing.
Dave Holland: This has been a stupendous match.
Laszlo rolls over, off the cover, wiping his hands over his face as he looks up at the lights. He grabs hold of Verona again and lifts him for the Malicious Intent again. Laszlo swings Roberto forward but in mid-air Roberto grabs hold of Laszlo’s head and slams it into his own knee, hitting the Requiescat In Pace!!! Roberto, holding his knee, goes for the cover.
1!
2!
3!!!
Willy Carter: NO!!!
Dave Holland: Roberto Verona advances.
Eric Hardy: Such a great match. This was just the semi-finals. I can only guess what the match between Verona and Sense is going to be like!
Amber Ashe: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner, and advancing in the Road To The Gold Tournament…Robertoooooo Verona!
Roberto celebrates holding his ribs as his music hits the sound system.
-------------------------[::COMMERCIAL BREAK::]-------------------------
Dave Holland: Welcome back and here we go... we’ll decide the last Starlet to enter the Final Four of this year’s tournament, and for a very good reason this should be a great match.
Eric Hardy: Three title reigns between both women here... and at one point they were almost sisters-in-law.
Willy Carter: You can also say it was interesting because last year, Shelly Taylor-Jones actually fell victim to the first Starlets Road to the Gold winner, losing her title to the winner of this tournament.
Dave Holland: Indeed, now she is trying to flip the scenarios and strike against Jenny Williams, wouldn’t that be just a perfect redemption for her?
Eric Hardy: I think so, and I think it’s something she really wants to make happen, but to say that she’s definitely had the worst draw of this round... would be an understatement.
Dave Holland: This is the moment where champions are seperated from legends, if she can get a victory here, I don’t think there will be anybody who can stop her in this tournament.
Willy Carter: Well I guess we’re about to find out.... will it be Kelly’s former puppet or the hardest hitting woman on the roster... should be a good one either way.

MATCH SEVENSydney vs. Shelly Taylor-JonesStarlets RTTG Match 12
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{“Call to Action” by Piller begins to play as the fans jump to their feet. Sydney makes her way to the ring slapping the hands of her Zombies and slide under the bottom rope into the ring. She rushes towards the nearest corner and jumps up throwing her arms into the air with the spotlight on her before jumping down and waiting for the match to begin.}{"I hate you for the sacrifices you made for me.
I hate you for every time you ever bled for me.
I hate you for the way you smile when you look at me.
I hate you for never taking control of me.
I hate you for always saving me from myself.
I hate you for always choosing me and not someone else.
I hate you for always pulling me back from the edge.
I hate you for every kind word you ever said..."
"Blood" By in this moment starts slowly before erupting into the song. Pink strobe lights shine up the entrance as we see a female shaped sillouette. Shelly Taylor-Jones makes her way out onto the stage and then down the ramp, her long blonde and brown streaked hair flowing behind her, she slides under the bottom rope and pushes up to her knees.}Dave Holland: Here we go guys, the ladies are here and they both look ready for a hard fought contest.
Eric Hardy: Both of them better be, because I can promise you that, that’s what they’re getting.
Willy Carter: It’s a match many have been wanting to see for a while now because of both ladies’ level of perfection and intensity, lets see if it lives up to the hype.
{The match is underway as Sydney and Shelly meet in the middle of the ring with a quick tie up, but Shelly quickly throws Sydney’s arms to the side and takes her into a side headlock. Syd tries to get away but Shelly instead puts a fist right into the forehead of Knight followed by another and another. Shelly lets go and Sydney staggers backwards holding her head in pain, Jones charges now and wraps up both of Sydney’s legs bringing her down to the mat where Shelly proceeds to blast her with several stiff punches. Sydney curls up in a defensive position as STJ just unleashes hard shot after hard shot until finally, after what has to be a good 15 punches she stands up and brings Sydney with her by her hair. She takes Syd and whips her across the ring, Sydney bounces off the ropes and Shelly catches her on the rebound with a hard standup spinebuster!. Sydney holds her back in pain as she turns over but the second she does Shelly jumps on Sydney’s back and begins blasting her in the back of the head with several quick elbows and forearms. Sydney screams out in pain as she tries to defend herself from the blows but Shelly has no intentions on slowing down the attack, with every shot coming in rapid succession.}Dave Holland: Shelly showing what makes her so dangerous... She’s got Sydney on the ground, pounding her with shot after shot.
Eric Hardy: They have two very different styles, if Sydney can’t get back to her vertical base, Shelly is perfectly fine with smashing her into submission.
Willy Carter: And she’ll enjoy it the whole way, she loves violence.
Dave Holland: All the more reason for Sydney to try and reverse her current position, before Shelly does any more damage.
{Sydney puts her hands on the back on her head as she tries to force Shelly away, Finally she manages to flip Shelly off of her and pry herself free. Sydney quickly crowls to the ropes and pulls herself back to her the best she can, but is interrupted by Shelly clubbing her in the back with a stiff axe handle blow to the spine. Sydneys tumbles into the corner, Selly goes in and grabs Sydney by the back of hte head and begins smashing Sydney’s face into the top turnbuckle repeatedly. After several shots Shelly shoves Sydney away, sending her falling to the mat. Shelly proceeds to the head towards the top rope where she perches herself. Sydney pushes up and STJ leaps off for the bulldog but Sydney side steps it and stumbles into the ropes as Shelly hits the ground. Shelly quickly gets back to her feet, she charges at Sydney but Syd throws her foot up and catches Jones in the gut with the toe of her boot. Sydney steps forward and grabs Shelly’s head DDTing her into the mat. Sydney holds her head as she turns over in pain and gets back to her feet. Shelly does the same as she pushes up, Shelly gets to a knee and Sydney points her finger gun before charging into the ropes, she comes back and CHRONO TRIGGER! Sydney jumps on top of Shelly and covers 1...2... but Shelly throws the arm up.}Dave Holland: And that’s where Adam’s little sister is so dangerous... can always strike when you least expect it.
Willy Carter: She’s made her career off of it.
Eric Hardy: But Shelly has been preparing for this match for a long time, if anybody is ready for what Sydney can muster it’s her.
{Sydney stands back to her feet and brings Shelly with her, Sydney grabs Shelly’s arm and whips her into the ropes, Shelly comes bouncing off and hits Shelly with a hip toss and immediately locks Shelly into a an arm hold with her elbow in the side of STJ’s neck, trying to rip Shelly’s arm from her socket. Shelly grimaces in pain as Sydney tries to pull her arm out, but keeps fighting with several elbows to Sydney’s side. Shelly takes Sydney’s arm and flips her over. Shelly quickly gets back to her feet as does Knight, Shelly takes a wild clothesline swing but Sydney catches it, she hits the STO backbreaker and then THE METAL GEAR! Sydney flips over and covers 1...2.. but Shelly again throws the arm up. Sydney grabs Shelly and isn’t done, she pulls Shelly up and takes her into the pump handle setup, she lifts and looks for her GEARS OF WAR but Shelly shifts her weight mid lift and turns it into a reverse DDT on the way down! Shelly quickly hooks a leg 1..2.. but Sydney throws the arm up now. Shelly grabs Sydney and forces her back up and kicks Sydney right in the side of the knee knocking her down, then spins around and puts a spinning heel kick to the back of the head. Shelly flips Sydney over as he lays face first in the mat and covers 1..2... but again Sydney puts the shoulder up.}Eric Hardy: After a quick burst of offense from Sydney, Shelly jumps right back on the offensive with her strong strikes.
Dave Holland: She is so deadly with them, and it takes Sydney off her game, if she can keep this up she might have a great chance of pulling this off.
Willy Carter: it certainly looks that way. It’s all going her direction right nwo.
