DATE: 10-13-2012
LOCATION: Rochester, New York
ARENA: Blue Cross Arena
NOTES: The Road to the Gold may not be on Trauma this week as it’s coming to a close soon, but that doesn’t mean that Trauma won’t be an exciting show. We’ll feature some great matches that will all work up towards our big Tag Team Main Event where Ken Davison and Alex Jones face off against Mike Laszlo and Davey Ortega.
THEME: "The Enemy" by Papa Roach
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Trauma comes flying onto the screen after the opening video montage. The fans are on their feet and cheering for the show while trying to get captured on TV and we finally settle in on Preston with Jaymie at his side ready to call the action.}
Preston Marshall: Welcome fans! We’re here at Rochester, New York and ready for a great night of NCW wrestling.
Jaymie Boone: Should be a good show, even if we don’t have any more Road to the Gold matches.
Preston Marshall: We may not, but we have some good matches regardless. For example kicking things off, Jake Keaton continues his return tour of NCW against a rookie trying to make his first splash in the company, should be exciting all the way.

MATCH ONE
Single's Match
Jackson King vs. Jake Keaton

MATCH ONE
Single's Match
Jackson King vs. Jake Keaton
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The lights dim, a hush fills the arena and a mixed reaction of mostly cheers billows from the crowd as "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Charm City Devils hits the PA. Jake Keeton slowly emerges through the curtains with his full attention focused on the upcoming match. He walks down the ramp barely acknowledging the fans as he steps into the ring and begins to stretch.}
Jaymie Boone: Jake Keaton was unsuccessful in his return to the wrestling world last week, but we shall see what happens this week.
Preston Marshall: No one wants their return to be a loss, but perhaps he will be able to get back into the swing of things and get a win this week.
{Jackson King walks to the ring holding his girlfriends hand. Lets it go as soon as he gets to the apron. He lifts her onto the apron, and begins to enter}
Preston Marshall: I wish more entrances were like that one!
Jaymie Boone: Simple yet understated.
{King makes his way to the bottom of the ramp, climbing up the ring steps as he enters the ring we see Keaton charging at King and slamming his forearm into his back! King collapses to the mat as Keaton begins stomping ruthlessly on Keaton's chest before twisting around, turning to the lower-right corner and running up the turnbuckle, leaping off with a nimble Moonsault which collides viciously with King! King is left reeling by the sudden assault as Keaton lifts him to his feet, only for King to respond by momentarily pushing Keaton away before leaping into the air and spinning, hitting Keaton with a Jumping Spin Kick which collides with Keaton's jaw!}
Preston Marshall: These two are going at it fast and furious tonight.
Jaymie Boone: They both lost their matches last week and need a win to solidify their spots, there is no room for slacking in the ncw.
{Keaton collapses backwards to the mat as King lands on his feet, stumbling backwards. The referee simply motions for the bell to be rung. As the bell rings, King walks over to Keaton, pulling him up to his feet and forcing him into the lower-left corner, hitting a quick jab to the abdomen before pulling him out and leaping up, grasping Keaton's head and driving Keaton's face into the mat with a Facecrusher! King quickly rolls Keaton over..}
Preston Marshall: Could this be it already?
Jaymie Boone: There have been shorter matches in ncw!
{Keaton thrusts a shoulder up! As King gets to his feet he hauls Keaton up with him who responds by slamming his head forward, headbutting King in the mouth! King stumbles backwards slightly, his lower lip bleeding slightly as King moves forward, twisting Keaton around and locking his left arm over his neck, locking in a standing Dragon Sleeper! King knowing his submission maneuvers begins to twist under the hold to break it, but Keaton simply collapses onto one knee, driving King’s upper back onto his raised knee before rolling him off his knee.}
Jaymie Boone: That headbutt really changed the tide of the match.
Preston Marshall: They tend to do that.
{Keaton grasps King by his hair, dragging him to his feet and over to the upper-right turnbuckle, slamming his head off of it once before pushing him back slightly, running up the rungs, leaping off and corkscrewing in mid-air, nailing King in the skull with the Whisper In The Wind! Both men hit the mat and Keaton quickly uses the momentum to forward-roll up to his feet, twisting around and walking over to the turnbuckle he used, untying the padding on the top turnbuckle and throwing the padding over the ropes, revealing the metal bolt that links the ropes together.}
Jaymie Boone: Oh no! That isn’t copasetic!
Preston Marshall: What the hell language are you speaking woman?
{Keaton grasps King 's hair, dragging him up once more and slamming his head roughly against the bolt. Keaton stumbles slightly as Keaton slams his head down once more, but King, perhaps out of instinct, quickly lunges his arms forward and clasps the ropes, stopping his skull hitting the bolt before swinging his elbow backwards. Keaton stumbles away, clutching his abdomen as King twists around, quickly spinning around with his leg raised and catching Keaton in the head with a vicious right haymaker! Keaton crumbles to the mat as King uses the downtime to rub his skull, still ringing from the quick assault Keaton launched.}
Jaymie Boone: That man’s head must be made of steel!
Preston Marshall: He will still have a head ache in the morning.
{King stops attending to his head and lifts Keaton up by the head viciously and tosses him into the corner. He follows in hitting a running knee to the midsection, then just starts nailing right hands to the left side of Keaton’s body. King is relentless as Keaton drops to a knee he lifts his hand high into the air and starts nailing the face of Keaton until he falls down to his butt, sitting in the corner. King lifts him up and places him against the rope, runs across the ring bouncing off the rope and as Keaton steps forwards King hits a lariat that sends Keaton spinning to the mat}
Preston Marshall: What a lariat, he nearly decapitated him!
{King goes over to Keaton lifting him slowly while waving to the crowd, as he is about to lift him into a bodyslam Keaton rolls him up in an inside cradle, the ref slaps the mat three times and Keaton bounces up, winning the match. King slaps the mat in frustration}
Jaymie Boone: Keaton finally makes the return he wants, getting in the win column.
-------------------------[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-------------------------
Jaymie Boone: Well,Preston, time for my favorite part of the evening.
Preston Marshall: But the show is not over yet, Jaymie?
Jaymie Boone: No, you dork. My other favorite part. When the ladies come out and play.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCH TWO
Single's Match
Kris Titan vs. Cynthia Warren
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCH TWO
Single's Match
Kris Titan vs. Cynthia Warren
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{As 'Night by Night' by Chromeo begins, Kris Titan comes out from the entryway and stops for a moment before she begins to dance walk her way to the ring, giving high fives to various fans and lip syncing to her own theme song. She eventually gets in the ring and goes to a turnbuckle, climbing up the middle and raising her fists into the air before jumping down and waiting for the match to start.}
Jaymie Boone: Kris Titan is hot right now. This girl has the skillz to put anybody down.
Preston Marshall: She proved it last week when she got a big win for her team. Kris is no joke.
{“Get Well Soon", by Reggie & The Full Effect” blasts all over the speakers. As it does the beautiful Cindy Warren emerges from the back accompanied by her husband James. She smiles as she is wearing a stethoscope around her neck. She holds the end to the crowd to check the crowd’s heart beats and they welcome her with loud cheers. She grins as she stretches her arms out and claps the hands of the people cheering her on. She slides into the ring and slowly rises to her feet. She proudly raises her hands in the air and waits for her opponent to come out.}
Preston Marshall: Cynthia Warren was eliminated last week but she seems to be in high hopes tonight.
Jaymie Boone: The blondes never get respect around here. Hopefully Cindy changes all of their minds about us.
{The bell rings and Cindy charges at Kris with a forearm but Titan sees it coming and greets her with a toe kick to the solar plexes. Cynthia takes a step back after the blow but is able to block a punch directed at the side of her head allowing Cindy to dig a knee into Kris' gut. Cynthia then takes Kris by the head and prepares to snap her over with a Suplex but Kris ducks her leg behind Cynthia's and blocks the maneuver. Cynthia then goes for it again only Kris is able to counter with a Back Body Drop. Kris then hits the ropes and comes back at incredible speeds and kicks Cindy in the head as she was standing with her "Titanium Spike"(Bakatare Slide Kick)! Kris goes for the pin and 1... 2... CYNTHIA GETS THE SHOULDER UP!}
Jaymie Boone: Kris be knocking them bitches loopy.
Preston Marshall: I don't know if I should agree with that or disagree.
{Kris stands, taking Cynthia with her in hopes of pitching her into the ropes but Cindy counters with an Irish Whip of her own into the corner. Kris crashes and then Cindy flying crossbody's into her midsection, slipping through the ropes to stand on the apron in the process. Kris stumbles out and Cindy prepares for a Springboard Bulldog but as she jumps on the third rope, Kris whips around with a high kick that sweeps Cindy's legs from under her, sending her crashing stomach first on the third rope. Kris then takes Cynthia by the head and pulls her off the ropes, twisting the neck into a Neckbreaker but instead of dropping her on said head, Kris spins with the "Ego Smasher"(Hangman's Elbow) unfortunately, Cynthia ducks the blow. catching the arm and then executing a picture perfect "Float Over Neckbreaker"!}
Jaymie Boone: Can't keep a good blonde down, Preston.
Preston Marshall: Unless you drive a Ferrari.
Jaymie Boone: What's that supposed to mean?!
Preston Marshall: I think you know.
Jaymie Boone: Sadly, I do.
{Cynthia is catching a breather and doesn't even think about pinning. Instead she springboards off the second rope and turns into a springboard leg drop across the throat. Cynthia then floats over to the legs and attempts to turn Kris over into an "Ankle Lock" but Kris sees it coming and reaches up with a leg, front kicking Cynthia in the face. Cindy backpedals holding her nose as Kris kips up and then blasts her in the chest with a powerful front dropkick that sends Cynthia flying back and crashing into the turnbuckles! Kris signals to the crowd after destroying Cynthia with her "Status Quo"(John Woo) before rushing into the corner that Cynthia sits in and drilling in her chest once again this time with a stalling dropkick!}
Preston Marshall: Seen that move once or twice and each time it is quite impressive.
Jaymie Boone: There's a lot of power in that little girl.
{Kris proceeds to lay in the boots as Cindy was sitting. Stomp after stomp was felt until Kris pulled her back to her feet and then whipped her into the ropes. Cindy bounces back right into an attempted clothesline only she catches the arm and counters with a "Float Over DDT"! Both ladies lay on the mat until Cynthia forces herself back to her feet. Cynthia notices Kris laying on her stomach in the middle of the ring and she twirls her arm in the air before interlacing Kris' legs with her own in an attempt to lock in a Romero Special possibly leading into "The Check-Up" but Kris tucks in her arms and refuses to let Cynthia have them.}
Jaymie Boone: Looks like Kris knows what's coming.
Preston Marshall: Probably studies her opponents before entering the ring with them.
{Cynthia is poking the ribs in attempt to get her to reach back but Kris is sticking to her guns so Cynthia jumps into the air with both of Kris' legs wrapped around hers and stomps out the kneecaps on the way down. Cynthia rolls off as Kris yelps in pain. Kris is trying to crawl to the ropes to pull herself to her feet but Cynthia is stalking her, stomping her out every so often. After a few seconds, Cynthia reaches down and begins pulling Kris to her feet. Once standing, Kris shoves Cynthia off of her and then levels her with a reverse roundhouse kick. Cynthia goes down as Kris stumbles into the corner, where she begins to ascend them. She reaches the top rope but Cindy shoots to her feet and rushes the very same corner, climbing the turnbuckles in front of Kris. They begin to battle it out as Kris is on the top and Cynthia is wobbly on the second. They're swinging at each other until a sharp back elbow causes Cynthia to almost fall over but she hangs on to the ropes. Kris goes to shove her off but Cindy wisely uses Kris' own momentum and Back Body drops her off the third rope sending her crashing into the middle of the ring!]
Jaymie Boone: this doesn't look good.
{Cynthia turns around and then signals before flying high into the sky with an amazing "Sponge Bath Splash"(Five Star Splash)! Cynthia crashes on top of Kris and the impact nearly sends her flying unto her back but she maintains the pin and 1... 2... 3!}
Jaymie Boone: Cynthia picks up a good win. Man, I wish she would sponge bath me.
Preston Marshall: Oh the visuals, Jaymie. Kris didn't seem to have her head in the game and Cynthia took advantage for one huge win.
{"Get Well Soon" hits the speakers as Cynthia sits up, holding her stomach in pain. The ref raises her arm and Cynthia hops to her feet in glee while Kris rolls out of the ring.}

MATCH THREE
Singles Match
Falcon vs. Stephen Kingsley
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{As the drums and didgeridoo kick in, Cyrus Daniels and Stephen Kingsley walk to the ring as two men side by side with a purpose. Stephen has on his corked hat and his vest. Stephen uses the steps and before he steps into the ring, Stephen takes off his corked hat as an acknowledgement to the crowd and place it on the ring post. He steps into the ring and he takes off his vest and he hands it to an employee.}
Jaymie Boone: Here is Kingsley, he comes to the ring again by himself…
Preston Marshall: Cyrus Daniels hasn’t been seen for weeks, but Kingsley has said everything is fine with him.
Jaymie Boone: Let’s hope so, Cyrus is a dreamboat.
{Smoke filters up from the exit to the back. The song begins, blasting right out of the gate. Falcon emerges from the smoke as the dual guitars blast sonic waves into the arena. He runs to the left on the stage, throwing his hands up, urging the crowd to their feet. He runs back to the right, feeling the energy and feeding off it. More gestures, the crowd is near frenzied by this point. He runs back to the center, then down the ramp. Sliding nimbly into the ring, moving to the corner and leaping from the canvas to the top turnbuckle. He drops down, moving to the ropes on no particular side, and standing on them, half on the bottom, half on the middle, arm raised in the devil horns. He turns from the ropes, getting ready for the match.}
Jaymie Boone: The master of so many martial arts, it is always a pleasure to have Falcon in the ring.
{The ref signals the bell for the start of the match, and both Falcon and Kingsley move to the center of the ring, jawing at each other. Falcon takes the hit and turns back around to a kick to the midsection, followed by Kingsley hitting an Irish whip. Falcon comes back and ducks a clothesline before turning around and hitting a dropkick; but Kingsley has the same idea and neither man gets anything. They roll to their feet and stare each other down for a moment before tying up, the fans already solidly behind Falcon}
Jaymie Boone: It seems that the crowd is once again behind bird brain.
Preston Marshall: He has been a fan favorite for most of his career.
Jaymie Boone: Except when he punched The Artist formerly known as Zelda in the face.
{Kingsley locks in a side headlock on Falcon, who pushes up on Kingsley's jaw, pushing him back into the ropes. Falcon sends him off and hits a savate kick, sending Kingsley down to the mat. Falcon instantly hits the ropes and Kingsley turns over with Falcon leaping over him and hitting the ropes again. Falcon comes back and Kingsley catches him with an snap powerslam, he covers and gets a quick two count}
Preston Marshall: Kingsley is a big dude; there is no question about that!
Jaymie Boone: He has abs that I would just like to eat chocolate sauce off them!
Preston Marshall: You and Sydney.
Jaymie Boone: I will tear her hair out! And that was Cyrus anyway, and it wasn’t true.
{Kingsley pulls Falcon up to his feet, hitting three hard rights and pushing him toward the corner. Kingsley sets Falcon up on the top rope, climbing up with him for a superplex. Falcon fights out of it, though, sending Kingsley down to the mat with a series of right hands. Falcon brings his legs over, going for a diving elbow, but misses as Kingsley rolls out of the way. Falcon rolls out of the ring and Kingsley follows him, sending him into the guard rail before playing to the crowd.}
Preston Marshall: The big man has stopped any chance that Falcon has had to fly.
Jaymie Boone: Falcon has made a career of beating larger, tougher opponents and I don’t think this match is close to being done.
{Back in the ring, Kingsley lifts Falcon up and whips him toward the ring post, but Falcon counters, sending Kingsley into the cold, unforgiving steel instead. Falcon shakes his head, trying to regain his bearings and pulls Kingsley up, who gut shots him before hitting a neckbreaker on the floor out of nowhere!}
Jaymie Boone: Each time Falcon gets a little momentum, it seems that Kingsley is able to counter and respond with a better move.
Preston Marshall: He has the raw power and toughness, he was only lacking the experience and it is apparent that he is getting that now.
{In the ring, the ref is up to a count of five as Kingsley rolls a dazed Falcon back into the ring. He climbs up to the apron, but stops, as Falcon is already to his knees. Kingsley grabs Falcon by the hair, but gets a shoulder block for his efforts, followed by a second before Falcon hooks him up for a suplex over the ropes into the center of the ring. Falcon gets to his feet and takes a few steps back jumping off of the ropes and hitting a front flip senton before covering! He gets a two count as he sits on the chest of Kingsley but Kingsley is able to shoulder up, Falcon looks at the arm}
Jaymie Boone: Falcon showing a resurgence there, looking to come back after taking a beating to start the match but let me tell you, he looks like a cobra waiting to strike.
Preston Marshall: He is wyeing the arm and I am wondering what dastardly idea he has in store for it.
{Following the failed pin attempt, Falcon shifts his weight into a kimura lock, trying to wear Kingsley down before he can regain momentum. Kingsley struggles for a few moments, but finally hits a set of elbows, breaking the hold and knocking Falcon off. Kingsley stumbles to his feet and shakes his head and Falcon charges him, looking for a spear, but Kingsley catches him out of nowhere with a black hole slam. He covers and gets a two count.}
Jaymie Boone: He turned the tide again.
Preston Marshall: Falcon looks a little flat tonight. Kingsley is coming at him with everything, he has a lot to gain in a high profile match like this one.
Jaymie Boone: Beating a legend and hall of famer would me an amazing accomplishment!
{In the ring, Kingsley checks with the ref, making sure it wasn't a three and he just didn't hear the bell. He finally nods and turns back to Falcon, pulling him up and hitting a half nelson slam. Kingsley motions to the crowd before beginning to stomp away at Falcon. After a few good hits, Kingsley steps back, waiting for Falcon to stand up, he readies himself looking to nail a vicious clothesline. Falcon turns around and Kingsley charges in, but Falcon rolls out of the way! Kingsley quickly turns around into a high dropkick, sending him back into the corner.}
Jaymie Boone: You can’t give a crafty veteran of the sport like Falcon any chance to recover.
Preston Marshall: He is never out of a match.
Jaymie Boone: Until he gets pinned.
Preston Marshall: You make a valid point.
{Falcon gets back up, his head and neck clearly hurting from the beating he's taken from the former tag title contender. Kingsley is still in the corner, shaking the cobwebs out as Falcon closes in to hit a stiff boot to Kingsley's midsection. He goes for a second, and he lands it. He sends an open palm strike to the neck of Kingsley which drops the man to his knees. He runs across the ring and comes across at full speed where he boots Kingsley in the side of the head, hanging him over the second rope}
Preston Marshall: that was devastating!
{Falcon waits for Kingsley to turn, and after he does he boots him in the stomach and lifts him with the Aerial Spike, he gets a three count as the match ends}
Jaymie Boone: Kingsley is so close every time he is in the match.
Preston Marshall: He dominated the hall of famer before losing, he has a bright future here.

MAIN EVENT
Tag Team Match
Ken Davision and Alex Jones vs. Mike Laszlo and Davey Ortega
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber Ashe: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a match in the Tag Team Road to the Gold tournament. Introducing first…
The lights go down as “God's Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash fills the room. With each clap in the song, the lights come up and disappear. The spotlight focuses on the entrance way as a man underneath a hooded trench coat walks out with his hands folded in front him. He walks down to the ring, entirely focused on the task at hand.
Davison slides into the center of the ring and shrugs his jacket off his then extends his arms as a laser circles the arena. It centers on Davison's forehead before the sound of a gunshot cuts off the music. The lights come up, with Davison still standing in the middle of the ring.
Preston Marshall: Here we go with the Second Chance Road to the “Tag Team” Gold tournament.
Jaymie Boone: That’s right Preston. All of these men lost in the original Road To The Gold Tourney, but as Wes Fox announced on Collision, they all got randomly teamed up and put into this opportunity to become the contending team for Team America’s Tag Team Titles.
Preston Marshall: This man, Ken Davison, lost the X-Title at Battlegrounds, seemed to be on the rebound the week after, then ran into the monster known as Lex Sense.
Jaymie Boone: He put up a good fight, but Lex moved on to the “Rising Star” Finals.
Amber Ashe: And now, for his Tag Team Partner…
{"This is CONFRONTATTTTIIIOOON!"}
{The start of "No end in sight" By Killswitch engage comes over the PA, the lights dim down as strobe lights follow the first few seconds before the guitar riff explodes."The American Nightmare" Alex Jones emerges in a long sleeveless vest coat, Shelly Jones his wife and manager makes her way down with him, Alex leaps up onto the ring apron, climbs between the ropes and throws his arms out in a Jesus pose}
Jaymie Boone: Another man who had tough luck last Saturday.
Preston Marshall: That’s right, Alex was eliminated from the tournament by Adam Knite in a hard fought match. He looks to right the ship tonight as well.
Jaymie Boone: Sounds like that’s the common theme tonight…redemption?
Preston Marshall: Indeed.
Amber Ashe: And now, for their opponents, first…
''Back in the Saddle Again'' hits the speakers as the fans have a mixed reaction. Davey Ortega comes from the back and stand on the entrance way looking to the ring, then eying both sides of the crowed. He walks down the ring with confidence, making his way up the stairs to the apron, he walks to the middle of the apron and turns to acknowledge the fans, raising his hand for a photo opportunity before he gets into the ring and waits.
Preston Marshall: Ortega, eliminated at the hands of The Ace on Collision.
Jaymie Boone: What is this? The Collision eliminations against the Trauma eliminations?
Preston Marshall: Seems that way.
Amber Ashe: And his partner…
"The Game" by Disturbed hits the sound system as Mike Laszlo walks out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer as well as those who boo, a smirk comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a slow confident walk, ignoring the fans along the isle who want to slap his hand.
Amber Ashe: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 247 pounds, MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
Mike slides into the ring under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd who give him another mixed reaction, as Alexis ascends the stairs and enters the ring. Backing into the corner Mike clasps his hands and loosens his wrists waiting for the start of the match.
Jaymie Boone: Before we go into the past…who is that girl and why is she near one of my crushes?
Preston Marshall: That young lady is Alexis Caffrey, Mike’s new valet.
Jaymie Boone: Ugh, cross another one off my list as taken.
Preston Marshall: Since when has that stopped you?
Jaymie Boone: Good point.
Preston Marshall: Anyway, Laszlo was the other elimination from the Road To The Gold tournament from Collision. He and Roberto Verona were involved in one of the better matches of the year.
Jaymie Boone: They sure were. They pulled out all the stops, but in the end it was Verona who countered Malicious Intent for the win, advancing to take on Lex Sense tomorrow night on Collision.
The four men are now in the ring, the two teams discussing strategy within their partnership.
Preston Marshall: Here we go.
Jaymie Boone: Looks like we’re going old school for the start.
By that, she is referring to the pair of Ortega and Jones starting off the match. The two men circle the ring as they talk trash to one another. Finally the two lock up in the center of the ring. It’s not long before Alex uses his size advantage to push Ortega back into the corner. The referee calls for a break and Jones does so cleanly. Ortega steps out of the corner and the two latch up one more time but this time Jones whips around Oretga’s back and lifts him in the air, taking him to the mat with a belly to back takedown. After some switch of position on the mat, Jones locks in a side headlock.
Preston Marshall: Great mat wrestling shown by Alex Jones.
Jaymie Boone: I’m not sad he lost to Adam Knite. That just means I get to see him more in front of me.
Preston Marshall: Oh God.
Eventually, Ortega gets up to a vertical base before shoving Jones into the ropes. Upon rebound, Alex goes to hit a clothesline, but Ortega ducks. Jones speeds up into the opposite end ropes before catching Ortega with a Crossbody splash taking his opponent to the mat and going for a cover…
1!
2!
NO! Ortega gets the shoulder up as Alex rolls off the cover and the two men stare each other down.
Preston Marshall: I think Ortega was a little caught off guard by the quick pin attempt.
Jaymie Boone: That’s what the look on his face says.
Again the two lock up in the center of the ring and again Alex goes for a takedown, but this time Ortega is ready and goes for a standing switch, wrapping his arms around the waist of Jones before pushing him forward into the ropes and rolling him up for a pin attempt of his own.
1!
2!
NO! Jones rolls through avoiding the three count.
Jaymie Boone: Both men trying to end this match without the involvement of their partner.
The two men circle the ring again when Laszlo reaches over the top rope and slaps the shoulder of Ortega who turns and looks astonished.
Preston Marshall: Here we go. This is what happens when you throw random teams together.
Jaymie Boone: The man wanted in the match.
Laszlo steps in and points to the corner signaling that Ortega should leave. Alex meanwhile is backed into his corner when Davison reaches out and offers his hand. Alex shrugs and tags in his partner.
Preston Marshall: Now business is picking up.
Jaymie Boone: These two had a war inside that Pawn Shop Match a couple weeks ago.
Laszlo and Davison walk around the ring and the two of them lock up in the center. Laszlo is quick to get out of it though as he sends a knee to the gut of the former X Champion. He follows that up with a few elbow shots to the back of Ken’s head before leveling him with a huge knee lift to the side of the head.
Jaymie Boone: Laszlo means business tonight.
Preston Marshall: He usually does. He’s not one to play around in that ring.
Laszlo grabs hold of Davison’s arm and shoots him into the far corner before charging him looking for the running high knee in the corner, but Davison moves out of the way causing Laszlo to crash knee first into the turnbuckle before he himself buckles to the mat.
Jaymie Boone: That didn’t look too good.
Preston Marshall: Indeed, Laszlo could have dislocated his knee cap there.
Davison grabs Laszlo by the leg and stomps it a few times before landing two well-placed elbow drops on the knee, Laszlo screaming out in pain with each shot he takes. Davison then heads to the corner and tags in Alex Jones. Jones grabs hold of Laszlo’s foot and he too works on the knee with a few stomps and then follows it up with the dreaded Figure Four Leglock. Laszlo starts to scream out in pain as he fights like hell to get out of the hold. Eventually in an effort to relieve the pain, he falls back on his shoulders.
1!
2!
NO! Laszlo sits up letting out a primal scream.
Preston Marshall: Close on that one.
Jaymie Boone: Close is only good in horse shoes and hand grenades boy.
After a bit more squirming, Laszlo is able to turn the hold around into a simple leg lock that seems to be causing Jones some discomfort. The referee asks Jones if he would like to give up, his back turned to Laszlo who already has grabbed hold of the second rope for leverage. Jones shakes his head no before the referee looks back and sees Laszlo hands on the rope immediately causing him to break the hold.
Preston Marshall: He got caught holding onto the ropes.
Jaymie Boone: That doesn’t matter. H’s smart. He knew that he wasn’t going to beat Alex Jones with that maneuver.
Both men get to their feet with a slight limp. Again there’s a lock up in the center of the ring and Jones goes for the go behind but Laszlo grabs hold of his arm and pulls him back in front of him before planting a boot to the stomach of Jones who doubles over in pain. Laszlo grabs hold of his arm and shoots him into the Ortega guarded corner. Laszlo tags in Ortega who enters the ring and puts a nice kick to the same spot as Laszlo. Jones slumps into the corner where he is stomped again and again until the referee pulls him from the corner and admonishes him. Jones’ head slumps over the bottom rope as he tries to catch his breath. With the referee’s back turned, Laszlo drops down from the apron, nailing an elbow drop across the face of Jones causing Davison to enter the ring, which in turn, causes a bigger distraction for the referee. Laszlo sees this and grabs hold of Jones from the outside, Jones’ feet draped over the apron, and drops him with a DDT to the floor from the apron!
Preston Marshall: He’s not even the legal man!
Jaymie Boone: To survive, you gotta do whatever it takes.
Davison steps out of the ring and the referee turns around to see Alex on the outside and starts the count. As he counts, Ortega looks up at the screen where the crowd is being shown a replay of what just happened. Ortega looks none too pleased as he looks over at Laszlo.
Davey Ortega: What are you doing!?
Rather than acknowledge his partner, Laszlo drops down and starts talking to his new valet, angering his partner as the referee’s count is up to seven before Alex rolls back into the ring to stop it. Ortega shakes his head before going back on the offensive. He grabs Jones by the head and pulls him to his feet, looking to twist him around into a neckbreaker. The two men are back to back and it looks as if Davey is going to hit the move when Jones breaks free and hits a Pele Kick to the top of Ortega’s head. Both men go down.
Jaymie Boone: This has been a back and forth affair.
Preston Marshall: That it has.
The two try hard to crawl to their respective corners. Ortega reaches out but Laszlo is still on the ground talking to Alexis. Jones lunges forward and makes the tag. Davison comes in and stalks Ortega who is now on his knees staring at his partner. Alexis points toward the ring which causes Laszlo to simply wave it off, which in turn angers Ortega. Before he can do anything though, Davison spins him around, kicks him in the gut, and executes a Falcon Arrow to Ortega. He covers his opponent for a one count with his back turned to Laszlo which was the mistake as the longest reigning X Champion breaks up the count out of nowhere with a sharp knee to the back of Davison’s head.
Jaymie Boone: He didn’t do that for the team.
Preston Marshall: No, he did it for himself.
Laszlo drags Ortega closer to the corner before standing on the apron and grabbing hold of the tag rope before making the tag.
Jaymie Boone: That’s one way of tagging yourself in.
Preston Marshall: This man seems to be growing more and more selfish as the weeks go by.
Laszlo steps into the ring and pushes Ortega out to the apron with his boot.
Preston Marshall: No respect.
As Laszlo turns, he is met by a series of Clotheslines from Davison, each knocking him down to the mat before he gets up and swings wildly completing the 360 degree spin before Davison boots him in the gut and lifts him in the air for the Falcon Arrow. Before Davison can execute though, Laszlo hits a knee to the top of his head and flips over and slides down the back of Davison before locking his arms around his waist, popping his hips, and throwing Davison back into his own corner with a German Suplex.
Preston Marshall: Hate the man all you want but the athletic ability is there.
Jaymie Boone: So is the cuteness.
Preston Marshall: Oh please.
Laszlo gets up and throws his hands out to the side in a “That’s it” motion. He stalks Davison who is slow to his feet and lifts him in the air for Malicious Intent when Davey enters the ring causing the referee to jump away from the action. Laszlo lets go of Davison, dropping him to the mat before he turns toward Ortega.
Mike Laszlo: WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM!? GET THE HELL OUT OF THE RING!
Davison is back up as Ortega exits the ring. He shoves Laszlo forward into the corner where Davey makes a visible tag. Ortega enters the ring and charges Davison who ducks a wild clothesline and hits Davey with a Drop Toe Hold into the turnbuckle. Laszlo turns and heads to attack Davison but Jones leaps onto the top rope and hits Laszlo with a Flying Clothesline. The referee has lost control of this match as all four men are going at it somewhere in the ring. Davison and Ortega do a little Irish Whip reversal dance that sends Ortega headed straight for his partner. Laszlo pushes off Jones into the ropes and dives out of the way as Ortega charges and clotheslines Jones over the top rope to the apron. Davison is all that’s left and he charges with a spear-like move that hits Ortega who pulls Jones off the apron with him.
Jaymie Boone: Davison is the only one left in the ring.
Preston Marshall: This is some NCW action at it’s best.
Davison goes out onto the apron as he sees that Ortega is getting to his feet first. Before he can execute any sort of maneuver, Laszlo sneaks up behind him and hits him with a Superkick in the back of the head, sending Davison to the floor. The referee doesn’t count as he has decided to let the match stretch the rule book a bit. Laszlo rolls to the outside, grabs hold of his partner and sends him back into the ring, Davison next, then turns to be hit with a Spinning Heel Kick from Jones. Jones rolls Laszlo into the ring and leaps onto the top rope before hitting a recovering Ortega with a Missile Dropkick. He gets up to a knee and watches as Davison crawls over for the cover, protecting it from interference.

Laszlo charges, but is intercepted by Jones, but manages to hold onto the lunging wrestler as they both fall on top of the cover, breaking it up.
Jaymie Boone: Sheer muscle there.
Preston Marshall: Impressive.
All four men are down as the crowd chants “NCW!” First to his feet is Laszlo, followed by Davison, followed by Jones, followed by Ortega. Davison stumbles toward Ortega as Jones does so to Laszlo. With the referee focused on the legal men, Laszlo drops down and hits Jones with a low blow before lifting him in the air and hitting the Malicious Intent.
Preston Marshall: MALICIOUS INTENT!
At the same time Davison has the Hands of God locked on Ortega, and has slammed him to the mat. Both men go for the pin and the referee counts.

2!!
3!!!
Preston Marshall: Who wins?
Jaymie Boone: I don’t know, I lost all track of this match. I was distracted.
Preston Marshall: Stop it. It seems we have a double count. Let’s go to Amber.
Amber Ashe: The winners of this match…Alex Jones and Ken Davison!
Laszlo flips out and starts yelling at the referee who after some back and forth yelling we can make out him saying that Davison and Ortega were the legal men.
Preston Marshall: Ortega and Davison were the legal men and therefore, the pin attempt by Laszlo on the illegal Jones didn’t matter.
Jaymie Boone: That is some great work by our official.
Preston Marshall: Davison and Jones move on! Good night everybody!
Davison pulls Jones out of the ring as the two celebrate their victory leaving Laszlo one pissed off man in the ring as the show goes off the air.
