I saw Mr. Nate coming to the dressing room after a great main event with Mr. Dex. He was in obvious pain from not only his fight in the ring but also his fight in the crowd where got slammed on the cement. In the end though Mr. Nate won and the smile on his face showed it even with the amount of pain he was probably in. That smile was infectious and warming and definitely was procession to a different side of Mr. Nate. I could feel like the despite the magnitude of his quest he didn’t feel or succumb to the pressure like he once did. It was comforting and super nice…especially after I had lost earlier in the evening to Mrs. Jazzy B.
“You ok Mr. Nate?” I asked running up to my big brother.
“Just Peachy,” he said as happily as one can be in severe pain, “about as good as I can being in so much pain.”
We walked in silence toward the trainer’s room. Inside Mr. Nate sat on the table and seeing how silent I looked he engaged me in conversation.
“You okay?” He asked in a straight forward manner.
“I’m fine just a little disappointed that I lost…”
Mr. Nate smirked hearing that.
“What’s so funny?” I asked a little confused.
Mr. Nate smirked again. “Believe me as I tell you this…you will lose…even when you think you are supposed to win…in fact you are supposed to think you can win every match…but the thing is you can’t get down on a loss. You have to keep getting up. You have to keep going. You’ll get it don’t worry just like you had faith in me I have faith in you.”
I looked up hearing this. As he was smiling even when he was in a lot of pain couldn’t help but cheer my mood. The tables had turned and now he was my rock, something I don’t think he would know how grateful I would be to him for.
Losing Sucks…
Glad to get that off my chests misters and misses…
Yes I lost, and I was so close. Yes I worked so hard…and I knew I could beat the person I fought in my first singles match earlier this year, but in the end I didn’t. I shouldn’t be happy that I lost but I do know that it felt awesome to get back in the ring this past Saturday night and I am sure that feeling will certainly be the same come this Saturday night against my opponent Miss C.
Okay she may not be a Miss Amy, or a Mrs. Crystie, or even a Miss Jenny…
In fact I don’t know much about my opponent, except that she is a relative to Mr. Trenty, and that there seems to be a connection based on hair…..
Ooookie Dokie…I will bite for you good misters and misses looking to watch me each and every day. I guess it is one of those things….you know spouting nonsense about a misses I don’t know…
It’s one of those things so as you all can see I am before you all watching from the comforts of your own home…or wherever you have your laptops…phones….tablets and whatever technology brings us….looking at me speaking my mind about Miss Charity.
Like I said before I don’t know you but Mr. Trenty’s reputation precedes him so like all opponents I am taking you seriously. But just like your relationship with Mr. Trenty makes you dangerous just understand that my relationship with Mr. Nate. He is the one that trained me, and has molded me and has made me a better misses for everyone to grow with and enjoy.
I hold that commitment to excellence dear to me and strive to do that for you all week to week, day to day, and consistently do that as I build my time I this business and that holds true, even more truer now even if I am facing someone I don’t know too well, because let’s face it I am one of those people that we all don’t know too well….except for kicking Mr. A in his special place…but that’s a different story.
Miss Charity when I come out this week…I hope you bring your best game cause I need it. I need you to be your best because like Mr. Nate wants to accomplish his mission, with my help, I want to be a woman that can be counted on to fight and be known by the world that she can fight.
I need you to bring your best Miss Charity because it would not be fair any other way cause I know I am bringing my best. That’s just the way it is, because if I don’t bring my best against the best of others I am not able to grow and learn and be a better fighter.
But don’t come under any false pretensions Miss Charity I know I can beat you even if you have been guided by Mr. Trenty. I just have that feeling…and while I don’t want you to fear me…I certainly want you to respect me…even if that means I am the one beating you….
