*We open in upon Curtis D. Kanyon sitting on his throne, swirling a cup of wine. He takes a sip.*
Curtis: So it is that I once again am found upon the opposite side of my BFF, Joe Everyman. So it is again that he puts up this wall and a brave face and tells me we are enemies! Well let me tell you something Joe Everyman! That is just what I wanted to hear! This isn't good buddies having a grand ol' hurrah! This is war! Friendships go out the window when that bell rings! It'll come right back when the second bell rings. Joe knows that I love fighting more than anything and it ain't personal. Heck, he helped me lance Lance Ryan! But Joe knows me full well.
*Curtis takes a sip.*
Curtis: I have a passion for this business. I always have. I have desire, a burning inside, a craving that makes me ruthless, a disdain for my opponents that make me the man, that once made me the heavyweight champion of the world! And I've said it before, I'll say it again, Joe Everyman is the greatest wrestler to lace up his boots...that has never won the world championship. He's got passion and desire and all that, but I have just a little bit more. And that little bit more that made me a champion, that little bit more that makes me a leader, that's the difference between us that's going to tip the scales of this match in my teams favor.
*Curtis sips from his glass again.*
Curtis: Davey, I have a little bit of history with too, and he's a heck of a competitor, great at the art of the battle. I look forward to facing him too. But your combined forces, self labeled second rate I might add, will not be enough to overcome the might of Thor. As for my partner, Thor's Breaker of Faith, he is a new man from when you last met him. You are right, when last you met Criminal Intent, they had fallen to you. They had lost there way. Hardened criminals reduced to losing to a second rate team. But then, then they found Thor. They found him and they listened, and he brought them up from the bottom. He gave them new purpose, just as he did me. You will see this new found passion up close and personal.
*Curtis stands from his throne and takes a last sip, emptying his wine glass. He walks over to a nearby table and grabs the bottle resting atop it, refilling his glass.*
Curtis: Now, just as an inside tip Joe and Dave, I know you recently had some bad luck with Team USA. Now you're a little pissy, I get that, and you see us and you are jealous. We have so much, the Church of Thor has truly been blessed. And I think Joe, even though you named your puppy after Thor in an obvious cry to get my attention, I didn't come to you and ask you to be in the Church myself, and that bugs you. That eats at you. Why did I go to the Australians before I came to you and Dave? Well, it's quite simple, I didn't go to you because it is not my place. Thor chose Stephen and Cyrus, Thor chose them because they listened. You and Dave are more than welcome to listen, you are more than welcome to believe in the mighty one as we believe. Please feel no ill will, for it is not I that joins this group, it is the mighty Thor. Thor will lead us to our promised lands. But first, first we must war with you.
*Curtis walks back to his throne and grabs his hammer along the way. He sits down with his drink in one hand and his hammer in the other.*
Curtis: Davey and Joe, I know you will bring us a fight, and I know it will be glorious. But as bad as you wish to "make a statement," as bad as you think your team is, you must realize that we have the edge. We believe in something more. We are backed by a higher power, and that feeling makes us whole. For we are the worthy, we have been blessed by the thunder-bringer. As bad a war as you wish to bring to our fight, we will bring a bigger war. You can be on your quest for revolution, but we are here for a total take over. We battle soon Second Rate Rides, but make no mistake...
*Curtis takes a closer look at his sledgehammer.*
Curtis: You are not worthy.
*Curtis smirks as the scene fades out.*
