MATCH ONE
Three Way Match
Ishimaru Junichiro v Caleb Lockwood v El Dragon
{The lights go out. Then fire bursts from the stage. The lights return as "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce hits the speakers. El Dragon de Valor emerges from the entryway and raises his arms in the air.}
Amber Ashe: The following Triple Threat contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Mexico City, Mexico, weighing 185 pounds, El Dragon de Valor!
Preston Marshall: El Dragon de Valor came up a little short last week against Stephen Kingsley, will his fortunes be any different with Ishimaru Junichiro in the mix?
Jaymie Boone: I hate to be the one to point it out, but Caleb Lockwood’s in this match too. He could be the X-factor that changes things. Guess we have to…ugh…wait and see.
{He then runs down to the ring and slides in, then rolls forward to his feet. He runs up the nearest turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air, waiving his hands up and down to get the crowd hyped up. He then backflips off the turnbuckle as flames shoot out from the ring posts and fireworks rain down from the ceiling. As he lands, The King of Pain by Loudness plays on the PA system as Sarissa Camarillo comes through the curtain followed by Ishimaru Junichiro. Ishimaru stops at the top of the ramp and lets out a war cry then raises both arms in the air as gold and silver pyros shoot off behind him.}
Amber Ashe: Next, being accompanied by Sarissa Camarillo, from Fukuoka, Japan, weighing 265 pounds, Ishimaru “The Beast” Junichiro!
Preston Marshall: Ishimaru Junichiro has been just that: a beast. He’s defeated Josh Stevens, Captain Howdy and Markus Reeves, what will he make of two high-flyers like Caleb Lockwood and El Dragon de Valor?
Jaymie Boone: He’s going to maul ‘em, Preston. Plain and simple, a guy that size with THOSE kind of rage issues is just an engine of destruction. If I’m the other two, I’m worried here.
{Sarissa heads down to the ring with Ishimaru coming down to the ring behind her. Sarissa climbs up the stairs and then holds the ropes open as Ishimaru climbs up the stairs then enters the ring. Sarissa removes Junichiro's leather jacket for him then gives him a kiss on the cheek. Junichiro stands ready for his match while Sarissa exits the ring and stands in the corner. The drumbeat of "Rise Above" sounds over the PA, and the sound of harsh guitars ushers in Caleb Lockwood. He smirks, bouncing on the soles of his feet and shouting at the crowd to get them fired up.}
Amber Ashe: And from Oakland, California, weighing 185 pounds, Caleb Lockwood!
Preston Marshall: Caleb Lockwood continues to try to make his case for a bigger opportunity here in NCW, and even though he didn’t pick up the win last week, he wasn’t the one to be pinned. What do you think Lockwood’s future is?
Jaymie Boone: The unemployment line. Failing that, Cirque du Soleil. We don’t have to hear him whine and moan, and he gets to do his flippy stuff. I call that a win-win.
{He fixes his gaze on the ring and grins, charging down. Lockwood leaps into the ring, kipping up and playing to the crowd. His music dies down as he moves into his corner, awaiting the bell.}
Jaymie Boone: Gladiators, READY!
Preston Marshall: Wrong show, Jaymie.
{The bell rings, and without hesitating Dragon and Lockwood both charge Junichiro, in a manner reminiscent of last week’s match. However, Ishimaru charges Lockwood as well, leveling him with a thunderous clothesline as Dragon skids to a stop, changing directions. Dragon leaps for a spinning wheel kick, and Junichiro takes the blow full on, dropping to the mat as well. Dragon follows up with a quick somersault leg drop across Junichiro’s throat and goes for the cover! 1! And the Beast presses El Dragon de Valor off of him, roaring as he gets to his feet!}
Preston Marshall: What raw power from Ishimaru Junichiro! If he keeps it up, this could be a very short match.
Jaymie Boone: Damn straight. What’d I tell you? Listen to me more, Preston, it’s good for your health.
{Junichiro picks up Lockwood by the hair, delivering a straight right hand that staggers the Californian. He sees Dragon getting back up, and Irish whips Caleb towards him. Caleb leapfrogs over Dragon, and Junichiro charges after him. Dragon, however, gets a drop toe hold on Ishimaru, and Lockwood glances back for a heartbeat before, without breaking stride, running up to the second turnbuckle and kickflipping off into a diving back elbow drop! Junichiro shifts as he’s diving down at him, and the elbow impacts him right in the left shoulder, causing him to spasm in pain.}
Preston Marshall: What a bit of unintended teamwork from our two smaller competitors here, and it seems to have paid off big for them.
Jaymie Boone: Ishimaru was trying to get out of the way, and it looks like he might have only made things worse for himself.
{Lockwood sees him holding his shoulder, and he immediately moves to flip Junichiro over, managing to snare a Fujiwara armbar on the injured shoulder. Not one to be outdone, Dragon immediately hops on Junichiro’s back and locks on a camel clutch. The two men wrench back on their respective holds, and Ishimaru’s eyes flare wide as Lockwood hauls back on the armbar. He lets out a muffled cry of anguish, and his hand immediately begins wavering, ready to tap. Dragon sees this and breaks his hold, rolling to his feet and delivering a big roundhouse to the skull of Lockwood! He lets go of Ishimaru’s arm as he slumps to the mat, and Dragon quickly rolls him over into the cover! 1! 2! Junichiro goes to kick out but he drops his shoulder back down, clearly in pain! 3! The bell rings and Dragon stands, hands in the air.}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner, El Dragon de Valor!
Jaymie Boone: That was done faster than you with a woman, Preston. What the hell happened?
Preston Marshall: I’m not sure…wait, Ishimaru is clutching his shoulder. It looks like he might be seriously hurt here.
{The referee throws up the X as Lockwood and Dragon clear the ring, The medic rushes down to ringside, and he helps Junichiro out of the ring, holding his shoulder gingerly as he’s helped to the back.}
