Got my lines crossed with spike.
Angel/Spike Kane
Contract Signing
Eric Hardy: Well the ring is all set for the contract signing between Spike Kane and Angel.
Dave Holland: Spike won a match to pick his final NCW opponent and he chose to face Angel in the Dragon's Den, tonight we make it official.
Eric Hardy: The feeling backstage is that one of these men is signing his death certificate.
Dave Holland: It's very possible, both of these men are masters of causing pain and they will be locked inside a cage where the only real object is the total destruction of your opponent.
Eric Hardy: It's going to be a blood bath at A Night to Remember.
{The lights go out completely before a huge pyro goes off and the lights flash wildly in time with the bass riff and the drums to Killswitch Engage’s “In Due Time” the screen flickers to life with images of Spike nailing countless people with the Spike Impailer and the Thunderstruck across the world. Just as the clean vocals come in with the “All in due time, see the world through different eyes. All in due time, the shadows will give way to light” the lights come up and we see Spike Kane standing on the apron with his arms outstretched and fists balled, smirk spread across his face. The God of Xtreme proceeds to make his way to the ring, at his own pace....in due time, of course. The smirk never leaving his face. Once inside the ring his music dies down and takes a walk over to the table where the contract sits. }
Eric Hardy: Spike's taking a final look at everything to make sure it's in order.
Willy Carter: Whats it say, here lies Spike Kane or possibly Angel?
Eric Hardy: That could be accurate.
{ The arena lights go out and strobes begin to go off all over the arena as "Again we Rise" by Lamb of God blares through the PA system. }
RISE!!!!!!
{ The Savior X logo appears on the screen, however "Again we Rise" is abruptly cut off by "Ghost Walking" off Lamb of Gods forthcoming album right as the guitars kick in. A giant red X with the word Savior written across the center of it blazes on the screen as Angel slowly rises from a circle of fire on the entrance ramp. He does not look to the crowd as he throws his arms up over his head in the form of an X and pillars of fire shoot up from either side of him. He steps forward and through the flames his sleeveless black trench coat skating by. Angel walks on beat with the song to the ring, the lights still flashing and the entire arena booing him. He climbs up onto the apron and pulls himself up onto the second rope on the outside of the ring and puts his arms up again in an X as the final line of the chorus resounds through out the arena. }
"THERE'S NO ONE LEFT TO SAVE!"
{ He jumps down into the ring and bows his head as the music fades out... }
Eric Hardy: Two very combustible elements in the ring right now. It's probably too much to ask for this to smoothly.
Dave Holland: I've been in a lot of situations like this and it never goes smoothly.
{ Spike and Angel approach each other in the center of the ring, the table between them and before each of them a microphone. The fans begin duel chanting for their favorite. "AN-GEL!" "SPIKE!" Back and forth. Spike looks around and smirks before he reaches for the microphone. }
Spike: This has been a long time coming, Angel.
{ Angel only nods his head slightly. }
Spike: In all the years we've been here, we've only crossed paths twice.
{ Spike holds up his index finger. }
Spike: Just twice. That first match will always burn in my mind, not because you won, but because you didn't beat me. The Age of the Revolution interfered and you stole that win. The second time? Your war with Lex Sense cost you that win. So in two matchs neither of us has truly beaten the other.. We never found out once and for all who really was the most brutal, the most sadistic, the most dangerous man in all of NCW. Is it the God of Xtreme or is it Savior X?
{ Again the crowd chants for they think the answer is. "SAVIOR X!" "GOD OF XTREME!" Neither chant is louder than the other. }
Spike: Now we're going to find out. On the final night of this companies existence we will finally know who's better and I have never been more excited, more amped up, more ready to rip someone to pieces than I am right now. And not because I have a deep seeded hatred or resentment for you, hell, I respect the hell out of you. I'm feeling this way because of all the people here tonight-
{ Spike is cut off by the roar of the crowd. }
Spike: And all the people watching at home and all the people who will be present at a Night to Remember when you and I step inside the Dragon's Den. Cheering our names. Screaming for our blood. It's not just going to be a clever name by the time we finish, Angel, it really will be a Night to Remember... The last time they ever see YOU inside a ring.
{ Spike's half the crowd is going wild as he looks all around and says one last thing to Angel. }
Spike: ALL BLOODY HAIL!
{ Spike slams the microphone down and scribbles his name on the contract. He backs off and offers the other microphone to Angel. Angel looks at it as he picks it up and steps forward to look at the contract. }
Angel: You are right, Spike...
{ With his free hand, Angel begins to sign his name on the contract. }
Angel: I will give them something to remember...
{ Gently he places the pen back down, his name clearly printed on the contract. His cold, black eyes glare at Spike from behind his fallen black hair. }
Angel: Your blood curdling cries for mercy...
{ Now Angel's half of the crowd begins to lose their minds as he slowly reaches across the table, grips it, then throws it across the ring. }
Angel: THERE WILL BE NONE!
{ Angel throws the microphone, Spike looks happy as hell as the two just start going at it with rights and lefts. The crowd completely loses their minds as the dueling chants are lost in their screams. }
Dave Holland: I knew there was no way this was going to end peacefully.
Willy Carter: Want a medal Captain Obvious?
{ Angel and Spike are really ripping into each other now as security begins to pour out of the back before the fight can get too out of hand. At least a dozen security guards storm the ring and try to pull them apart but their having a hard time of it. }
Eric Hardy: The crowd wants to see this happen tonight.
Dave Holland: Well I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see this match.
Willy Carter: Who doesn't? Let them fight!
{ Willy leads the crowd in a "LET THEM FIGHT!" chant but security pays them no attention and begins to get things under control. }
Eric Hardy: These two have a storied rivalry that dates back to Angel's first days in NCW and it looks like they will finally get to settle their differences at a Night to Remember.
Dave Holland: It's literally going to be a hell of a match.
{ The two glare at each other as six guards each try to restrain them on opposing sides of the ring. }[/quote]
