I'm still gonna buy it. The game play itself sounds promising, but we knew from day one this wasn't going to compare to any of the Smackdowns. The first one is obviously just a try out, see if there is an audience, and to get a base model out there for it. After this, I think every new addition is going to blow our minds. From the sounds of it Midway already has tons of updates for the next edition.

I might pick this up after some of the reviews hit, I know the gameplay will be sick, but the fact it is missing a TON of features and only 2 PLAYER ONLINE MULTI-PLAYER!!!!
Shame Midway, if this game owns, you will be forgiven...
If not, I shall release the hounds

I'll just use Sub-Zero and spam Freeze Blast and Uppercuts.

I'll use Kitana and spam Fan Lift and Flying Square Punch and finish it off with a Fan Throw.
32 Percent Damage...3 Hits Cracker.

Mortal Combat + Racist Undertones = Roots

Or you could just do that whole infinite combo with Classic Subby....
Anyway, this was put on CZWFans.com, and someone there pretty much said "Everything good you could want in a wrestling game...is NOT in iMPACT".

I have a feeling the Impact game is going to suck. If I can't do any of the fun stuff that Smackdown vs. Raw has, then there is no point in buying the TNA game.

True dat Joe. True Dat.
If TNA is going to put out a game, that looks like nothing but a re-vamped No Mercy, with a HORRIBLE caw system and an even more redonkulous story line system, in an age where wrestling fans expect a lot more beef. Then more stupid then we originally thought.
I'm still more excited for SD vs R 09. The countdown for it on IGN has started by the way.

Falcon is supposed to buy it, I'll make my judgment to buy it then and only then. The only things I didn't like when I read the Q and A were no titles, a lack of match types, and the in ability to upload music from my Xbox into the game.

I give TNA props for having the balls to take the main character of the story/season mode (Suicide) and actually make turn it into a real angle (Kaz is gonna be dressing up like Suicide). Though TNA will do anything, they're like a drunk homeless woman.

I'm intently interested in the fact it's like a wrestling rpg game. Like Final Fantasy with steel chairs and AJ Styles.

I should be able to let you all know what I think before the release date. I am guessing that we will get it in at my store before the weekend, and we are allowed to rent them before RD.
