I think he does deserve to be in the WWE HOF. Some think he turned his back on the business, but he was one of the biggest rating drawers ever.

I agree that he should be, based solely on the fact he was one of the biggest icons in the biz ever, up there with Hogan and Austin, but perhpas not yet. Like Bates said, a few more years.

Yeah I agree. A couple more years and he will be a no brainer.

Next year, bank on it.
Stone Cold gets in this year, Flair got in before retirement (obvious reasons), Eddie got in months after his death.
The Rock will be the big inductee next year.

We can only hope anyway. If Bret Hart can make it in, then The Rock can make it in easily. They ended up basically doing the same things, although yes, Bret did still wrestle, The Rock only was in WWE, which makes his run more special.

Just to be clear...I voted no thinking it meant "this year" cuz it's obvious to save him for a few more years then put him in. He was one of, if not the biggest star of the last 20 years outside Hulk and Austin, possibly even bigger than them.
But yeah, I think it's pretty obvious it'll be a few years, maybe he'll have to patch things up with Vince first, who knows.

No...the only thing the rock deserves is a kick in the nuts for making terrible films like gridiron gang and the game plan
That and here's a guy who kept returning to the WWE saying that the wwe was home and he wasn't gonna leave etc, then the first chance he gets he walks out. If he was straight with people and said "alright I may leave and see where this movie star thing goes" then hey awesome but he didn't.
He was a great performer and maybe one day he should get into the hall of fame, but right now he just needs a kick in the pebbles....

Yeah, because WWE totally would have wanted him to cut a promo on how much more profitable Hollywood was than pro wrestling...
I say he does deserve to be in, he's still one of the most well known names inside and outside of pro wrestling. I've hated the guy and loved him back and forth so many times, but regardless of what I think of him, dude was a great draw for the company, did a LOT for their business, and thereby in my opinion deserves to be inducted at some point.
Plus, watch Southland Tales. I was shocked when I saw the rock in it but its a great "watch and get ****ed up" film.

That's the point. However it does make sense if you've watched it and read it enough, it just takes a lot more consideration than most films which is it's weakest point.
