Jeff Hardy, one of the top babyface acts in World Wrestling Entertainment, might be on his way out of the company in the coming months.
Hardy's contract expires this summer and WWE has been pushing hard to sign him to a new deal. So far, Jeff Hardy has turned down several lucrative offers from the company - including a new long-term deal and a 1-year contract extension.
Much of the Matt vs. Jeff storyline has been dictated by Jeff's current contract negotiations. With Jeff likely on his way out of the company, WWE is booking Matt to come out of the feud looking strong.
Jeff Hardy is said to be interested in getting away from the hectic lifestyle of a pro wrestler and wants to spend some time living on his own terms."

Matt has always been greater than Jeff, and now all of those fans that mark for Jeff and Cena will cry themselves to sleep knowing that once again the true wrestling fan in WWE knew this all along. Good riddance to Jeff.

Good riddance to Jeff. I completely agree. Matt has always been better than Jeff. Jeff is now, and always be a spot monkey. Matt is a good technical wrestler. Just alot of people don't give him the credit he deserves.

I only mark for Jeff when he's jumpin off really high stuff. If WWE still had a Cruiserweight division that'd be a bit more often, but till then...**** Jeff Hardy. Matt is a technical marvel, and just like guys such as Haas and Benjamin...they never get any ****ing credit cuz they aren't quite "good enough" in the eyes of Vince when it comes to face-time and mic-time.
Seriously...when are they gonna actually push Matt or SHelton? Never...yeah, that's why I quit watching WWE, I'm sick of being disappointed.

Shelton HAD the charisma of a wet bag... and after NUMEROUS angle ideas, he's finally getting some semblance of a push (see match with 'Taker) And as for Hardy, he's been getting pushed, the whole being ECW Champ was the start of his push, then the heel turn and him getting the best of Jeff at almost every turn... yea...
