I've gotten Spike's opinion on it...would love to hear others. Especially if you read the book and seen the movie. If you haven't seen the movie or read the book and want to, then I wouldn't read this thread. lol

The movie was decent, if you haven't read the book. If you've read the book then the important stuff missed out will just piss you off.
Overall....B.

I feel that this one was much better in terms of sticking to the book than the last. I would give it a B+. Good thing is that the next one is in two parts, so almost nothing will be left out.

Oh God, there's going to be more Harry Potter films?! Haven't we had enough of this crap already? And no I have no intention of wasting time on the books or films, the first was bad enough...

How can you rate something you've never seen?

Pah, there's no such word as 'can't' in my dictionary...that's why I can!

Hate to break in on this... but there's no such word as 'Can't' in most dictionaries... seeing as it's an abbreviation of the word 'Cannot' which is itself an amalgamation of the words 'can' and 'not'. And since you already admitted 'Can' is in there... well you're pretty much half way there and it's a pretty sucky dictionary if 'Not' isn't in there.
So.. yeah. Harry potter... not seen it... not read any of them... probably do both at some point though.

It's cause Sam rocks. I haven't seen or read any Harry Potter. I may watch the movies once they're all out. I just really have no motivation to watch it.

Was actually all right for an adaption. Half Blood Prince was always a filler book imho. It's entire purpose was to get further away from the humour and light and fluffy that ear marked the couple of books into the dark feeling that was in the seventh book. The flick also majorly hinted at the romantic feelings between Ron and Hermione. Should be fun to see how it permeates in the last two flicks. Will undoubtably be dragged to see the last two flicks, as I was dragged to the last six, and force to read the books by a rather annoying brother who loves the entire series both book and film.
