Easier to play a real Guitar, than Guitar Hero... Just saying Playing a real Guitar gives you a skill you can use in real life and not just be a video game rockstar. Just saying. And counter point... nuh uh.

Play "BYOB" on a real guitar, then play it on Hero...
Or the dreaded Dragon Force Song, you dont see dude finger flailing like madness, like you have to do in that game.

How long does it take to learn how to play a real guitar, well? Months, maybe even years of practice to get really good? How long does it take to learn how to click some plastic buttons where you don't have to know anything about music all you need to do is mash on something when a screen tells you to. That's the only appeal GH has, is it's easier and quicker to learn that the real thing.

All it is memorization, it's easier to memorize scales, than button presses.
And to be fair, it's not like you master guitar hero in one sitting, it takes smore practice, I'm just saying it's easier to pick up a real guitar and learn to play half th songs in that game, then trying to master GH on Expert

GH displays all that for you, if you have good reflexes you don't have to actually learn jack. It doesn't take half the time to get "good" at GH as it does to get good at a real guitar. Maybe Expert mode is really tough... but being a real life "expert" at a guitar is tougher.

Wow....weak as f*ck.
X does have a point a lot of songs are easier in real life than on the games, for example I can play The Hands that Feeds perfectly in real life, but in no way shape or form can I hit that **** on expert. However, Adam is spot on. Real guitar takes years of practise to get to the level a few sessions of guitar hero/rock band would make you "play" at.

Everyone needs to remember one thing...it's just a game. Just because I'm good at LoZ doesn't mean I'm automatically good with a sword or a bow. Games are games for a reason, they don't transition into real life, and that's how it's suppost to be. Also, Spike, Hand That Feeds is easy on Expert

Plus Guitar is gay...I played it for a while and its meh. Bass is where its at

Joe - Yes, I suck.
Adam - Why yes, I can pick up a guitar and play enter sandman.
Jeff - I <3 you. Finally some bassist love. I play bass for my band.

Everyone realizes Bass is simply endless repetition, right?
Also, you can pick up a sword and start slaughtering monsters (chickens) but you'd just end up committed or enprisoned.
