Christmas in November
Part 2....Hope
Chad Lights is standing in front of a nCw banner. To the right of him is Sexy Jason.
Chad: It has been a while since we have talked. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me.
Well you did say it was important. But you are welcome and it has been a while.
Chad: This Sunday at Mind Games you are getting another shot at the World Title. Now I know you have mentioned that this is a HUGE moment. Have you thought about what happens if you lose?
Sexy Jason looks at Chad. Chad is expecting to get hit or yelled at. Sexy Jason just smiles.
You know Chad, you are like the rest of the roster. You all think that I have no chance at winning. You all think that it is impossible. Well Chad all things are possible. That includes me winning the World Championship title from Falcon.
But to answer your question...I plan on stepping in that ring this Sunday night and giving it 120%. Falcon and Jack Hammond is getting my best and more. You see I know that I am stepping in the ring with the best. To hold onto the World Championship Title, you have to be the best.
Chad: I know you have talked about your matches against Lance Ryan and Jack Hammond. There is some stuff that caught my attention.....
Before Chad could finish his statement, Sexy Jason cuts him off
I know that I have said that I don't like Falcon. But I have to give him credit where credit belongs. Now Falcon has done something to me, that maybe the fans are not smart enough to see. He has built confidence in me. You see that first match with Lance Ryan, where Lance beat me to a pulp, that was in a way to take me to the lowest part of my self. You see if you remember during any of my promo's before that match, I would “trash” talk my opponent. Telling them that I don't care if they are breathing or not. Well I don't do that anymore. Instead I prove it in the ring.
Now my match with Jack Hammond, was another confidence builder. Winning over a former World Champion has got to build my confidence up. It shows that even World Champions can have a bad day.
Chad: You have to understand that was a Singles Match, this Sunday on Mind Games it is a Last Man Standing Match. Those are totally different matches. I mean you already say it is going to be a brutal match.
You are correct Chad. They are totally different matches. Sunday Night match does not include pinning your opponents shoulders. You have to beat them past the point where they do not want to or able to get up at the 10 count. I have some tough matches during my career here in nCw. Granted this one on Sunday is going to be the toughest match of my entire career. But I have survive! I am still here in nCw and I will survive this Sunday night. Hoping to have the World Championship Belt around my magnificent waist as Mind Games goes off the air.
Chad: I notice that you used “Hoping” Why not use “ I Will” You said that Falcon had built confidence in you?
Well Chad, Falcon did not build confidence in me. I already had confidence in my wrestling ability. What I meant was Falcon bought it out. Everyone has confidence in their abilities. Just some have it buried so deep inside that sometimes it needs help to bring it too the front. That is what Falcon did. He just helped me nudge it to the front.
Now using “Hope” I have read many books, and they say that successful leaders uses “Hope” You see Chad Hope is a power that keeps us going in the toughest times of life. Hope gives us reason to live. It takes obstacles, like the roster saying there is no way that I can become the World Champion...it takes those kind of obstacles and transforms them into possibilities.
Chad begins to shake his head in agreement.
Chad: Going back to part of a question I asked earlier. What are you going to do if you lose?
I'm not going to lose. You see Chad November 22, 2009 is my night to shine. Not only am I taking the World Title away from Falcon, not only am I going to prove everyone, including you WRONG, but I will also become a Triple Crown. You see I have been the Xtreme Champion, The National Champion, now the only thing that is stopping me is the World Champion. You can say that Sunday night will be double the pleasure for me. Winning the World Champion and being Triple Crown.
Now just in case something happens and I lose, well I will still be shining. Knowing that I gave my 120%...giving it my best and being in the ring with the World Champion and the former World Champion, well my career is going only one way and that would be up.
Chad: Now if you win the World Championship belt, will you go back to the fans. Will you become a fan favorite again?
Hell NO! Have them idiots turn against me. My career is doing a lot better without worry about what the fans have to say. I don't need their approval in winning matches. I can win my matches any way I want. Having fans approval just puts more pressure on you. I found that out the hard way.
Chad: One last question. Why do you keep on saying “Christmas in November”?
That is the dumbest question I have ever heard. What is coming up this Sunday?
Chad: Mind Games, but Christmas is in December.
You see Chad, I'm going to take the World Title from Falcon, and that will be an early Christmas present for me. That is why I keep on saying Christmas in November. You could almost say that by looking back at those tapes, it was like A Christmas Carol.
Chad: So you are saying that Falcon were the ghosts.
He is scary enough, I guess he could pass as ghosts. Looking at the past and how I did things and then looking at this year has made me change. Having Lance Ryan and Falcon showing me the ways that I needed to change. So any a way Lance could have been a ghost also.
Chad: Have you been drinking some more Budweisers?
NO! If you seen what I seen...You will not be drinking anymore either! Christmas in November, you just wait and see.
