I have tried to determine the fun that you have had. You actually claim that the past month has been fun, that you have had fun, that we have had fun and that now it is time to finish it.
See, at least you are finally speaking with some degree of clarity, at least you are starting to understand something this weekend is the end, the absolute end, the absolute zero of your sad reign as champions. You reign filled with losing match after match only to be given countless title opportunities because well, there was no one else to give the chances to. The fact that nCw had to go out and force people together to team against you shows not your dominance but shows how little respect the tag titles have at this point in time. This respect is going to be restored at what you call the end of out feud.
The end in my mind isn’t what you may see it as, I am sure that through some forced false perceptions of realistic scenarios that you have the two of your successfully defending your titles, riding off into the sunset together, sharing a horse and settling on a mountain somewhere where the two of you will herd sheep for an occupation, occasionally coming off the mountain to try and assimilate into society again only to find out that what you shared on that mountain is not accepted by society.
You will learn that you truly can’t quit one another.
I can see the two of you, procuring strippers trying to grant life to your flaccid sexual organ only to finally realize that there is no reason to hide it. You will get your flags, rainbow. You will put on the hotpants that you bought from a shady mail order catalog and you will march to San Francisco where you will spend the rest of your life in complete and total elation.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
But what is wrong is parading around, acting like you don’t understand how dangerous I am. You are concerned with Adam, and I can totally understand why you are acting as if his mind isn’t in this match, he has a lot going on but to be completely and utterly honest Adam, whether focused or not is a man that has more natural talent then either of your scrubs. He has more natural talent then any other wrestler here, he has more talent then the two of you combined and he proved that in a handicap match the same way I did.
I don’t know if you are trying to play games, or if the two of you are actually stupid enough to think that you can defeat two men who have already single handedly dominated you in two on one situations. But I digress, maybe, just maybe there are people stupid enough in this world to truly no understand their place. Your titles were yours because there was no one else, not because you have gone on a reign of terror.
The true reign, the true epic journey begins tomorrow night, when the uncrowned kings finally take what is rightfully theirs, when the start of their destiny as the greatest tag team champions of all time finally begins.
Adam and I are no strangers to tag team competition, we are no strangers to watching each others backs and there is not a single person in this world that I respect and trust more. The cards are already on the table, there is no time or chance for a deal that works in your favor…
Because you are two’s… And we my friends are Kings.
(Scene opens to a street where a car wreck took place, police sirens blare loudly and the lights of the vehicles grant the area an eerie flavor. There is some sort of a ruckus as a large man is struggling against four or five police officers who are doing their best to calm him, a stretcher covered by a sheet is entering being put inside the back of ambulance.)
(When the camera draws near, we see the man is a young Gib, his massive arms are flailing at police officers who are not attempting to beat him, who are not attempting to utilize their tazers on him, who look concerned and unsettled. Gib screams)
Gib: I am going to kill that mother ****er, let me get over to him… My wife… God Sophia, that mother ****er.
(His face is covered with cuts, blood streams from a particularly large one on his forehead. The blood starts to gush uncontrollably as the police officers finally are able to take him down they are using gentle words, trying to ease the rage, finally Gib’s body completely collapses and is overtaken by shivers)
(In a final act of desperation his pushes his body up, and we are brought to a bed in a hotel room Gib startles awake, screaming uncontrollably next to him the body of a woman startles awake as Gib stands out of bed and throws the nightstand against the wall, it splinters into chunks as the woman we met previously, Ione, looks terrified as she reaches for the phone and calls someone, you can’t hear any of her conversation)
(Moments later we hear a rustling at the door, Gib falls to the ground, he rocks back and forth in a daze, Kelly Fox rushes in followed by Adam, Kelly immediately runs to Gib wrapping her arms around his hulking frame. Adam bypasses Gib, seeing that Kelly is doing more then he can and walks to Ione…)
Adam: Now is a good time for us to have a chat… Kelly can take care of him.
(She nods tears welling in her eyes, her mind most likely a haze of questions and the two leave the room as Kelly coddles Gib, her tiny frame granting solace and comfort to the enormous man as the scene fades)
The past certainly has a way of messing with you doesn’t it. Just when you think that something is good, just when you think that life is back on track something happens to remind you that you are mortal, that you are not the impervious rock that you once thought you were. Going into this weekend, I was confident and after meeting Ione, despite the fact that we have only known one another for a short period of time, I felt happy for the first time since that night, since the night the drunk driver smashed into my vehicle, since the night my wife’s airbag didn’t deploy and her head was sent smashing against the steering wheel.
See, it was alcohol that finished me, but before that it was the untimely death of Sophia, my only real regret in life revolves around me not killing the man that caused her to pass, sure she was cancer ridden, sure she had little time left but that time she had left was stolen from me.
Since that moment, I have not had the clarity that I have now; I didn’t have the drive or the determination. Sure, I have continued my run of dominance, sure I have beaten the **** out of people left and right, sure I have been a world champion in a distant world, a hall of famer and held some significant tag titles here, but even then I wasn’t driven like I am now.
It is like I am seeing with clarity for the first time, not only because of Ione, but also because of the interaction with Kelly who is acting like the sister I have never had. The sister that I would defend to the death, the sister who I am going to avenge this weekend.
There should be no question about my intentions this weekend, I don’t only want to win the titles, if you hadn’t lain your hands on Kelly, I wouldn’t want what I want, but when you slapped her across the face you started a chain reaction of events that you will not be able to stop. To think that a puny inconsequential spear or lariat will cause the end of my shows that you have never even watched a match that I have competed in, even after I have laid you both out you don’t understand.
I am coming to the ring this weekend, and my hand will be cocked, and despite your shallow promises to defeat me with a spear or lariat you must understand that this right hand has enough power behind it to scramble your brains to make your promos worth watching. I know that I talk a lot of **** every week, but I back it up. All your talk this month has been backed up with losses and getting your ass kicked.
This weekend I finish what you started, like Adam said, this was business until you drew first blood, look at my history, look at my track record, look at my list of victims and you will realize that even in losing this weekend, even when Adam and I embarrass you that you will be added to that list.
But as least for the first time in your life you will be in good company.
Bring everything you have, because this weekend I am gunning for you, and when I set my sites on something, I don’t finish until my target has been incapacitated.
