So now we take a look some more my going all bret hart and whining. (Yeah, I said it)
TNA:
I understand the logic with not having a mid card title, to give the impression that EVERYONE could be the TNA champ. But let's face facts, Kurt Angle, Sting, Samoa Joe, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Chrisitian Cage, And soon Booker T (Or the Big Show) would make up TNA's upper echelon of guys.
So why not give guys like James Storm, Raven, Robert Roode, Eric Young, Kaz, and those guys a title worth fighting for. It would give TNA more gold and allow for more talent to branch off (TNA has a lot of talented people, and their all in tag teams *Cough* Triple X *Cough*) giving a mid-card title allows for some fueds to mean more. (I was all about James Storm vs. Chris Harris, but it would have been even more entertaining if there was a belt involved. )
Let's keep the X-Division like the Cruiserweights, (I know that goes against the whole "No Limits" thing, but Samoa Joe was the only guy, NOT a crusierweight to enter the division.) Try to keep those guys happy, because the X-Division made TNA as far as I'm concerned.
TNA has the tag team division on lockdown so to speak, and they could add Crime Tyme if they wanted to. The Women's division is taking a hit from Shimmer, but open contracts are a good thing. The women involved at the last PPV made it worth watching girls like Angel Williams, and Roxxi (Nikki Roxx) who are great in the ring it gave them a chance to show their skills.
Moving on...
WWE: Well, Much like Dr. Pepper said, HBK won he voting at Cyber Sunday, and Batista cleanly beat the Undertaker...WTF. Now anybody still think Vince cares about the fans? A show who's whole concept is built around fans choice...totally fixed. Whatever. Anyway, I was watching some old 1997 stuff, and noticed all the stables back then (DX, DOA, Nation, Savio's spanish guys...) I think it's stable time in WWE again. And why not bring back the Four Horsemen and let them run wild. Who would be in, you ask? Now first off, This is based on the current Raw Roster.
Choice #1 - Arn Anderson
- Flair is on Smackdown, and could be done altogether. So he's MIA, so Arn is the other Horsemen still around. He's Our J.J. Dillion.
Choice#2 - Randy Orton
- He's the champ dude, he's gotta be in, and assume that Ric Flair role, which he's already doing (take a beating, but still walk out with the belt.)
Choice#3 - Cody Rhodes
- This is the role of Tully Blanchard, and the EXTREME inrony that A Rhodes would be in the Horsemen. With Arn as a mentor, Cody could be dangerous after 3 months.
Choices #4 & 5 - Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin
- The two best wrestlers on Raw period. Another version of the Minnisota Wrecking Crew? The Minnisota Stretching Crew! (MSC is the name given to Brock Lesnar and Shelton when they were in OVW as a tag team)
Honorable mentions: It took me some soul searching to put Cody Rhodes in, but If you take him out, you have THREE other possible canidates: Umaga, Carlito and Mr. Kennedy. Both Kennedy and Carlito would do a disservice to the horsemen name due to strong cockiness. And Umaga couldn't take direction. Orton is cocky, but both he and WGTT are proven team players in Evolution and Team Angle alike.
Next Time....8 new subjects....and How many moves does Mark Henry know after 12 years on the WWE Roster? The answer: 6
And some Trivia, winner gets....I dunno, congrats I guess.
