The scene opens on a moderately sized room, which is practically empty. The room is decorated very plainly, with white paint and wood flooring. On the wall we see three large pictures of famous men, which we will find out more about in due time. To the left of the room is a closed door, painted white. As the camera focuses in on said door, it swings open. A young man steps through the doorway, dressed smartly in a grey suit, white shirt and black tie, and black leather shoes. The young man walks over to the pictures, and stands next to the first. Looks at the picture for a moment, then at the camera.
" Martin Luther King, a man I'm sure you've all heard of. This man was an activist, and a leader in the African-American civil rights movement. After his time as a Baptist minister, King was instrumental in raising public consciousness of the civil rights movement, and worked to end racial segregation and racial discrimination. Martin Luther King wanted to change things in America for the better, and didn't stop until he achieved his goal. "
The young man turns and looks at the picture of Martin Luther King again, before ripping it down dropping it to the floor. He takes a few steps to the side, so that he is beside the second picture. He looks at the picture as he did with the first, then turns to face the camera.
" Here we have Winston Churchill, a British politician who went on to lead the United Kingdom to victory in World War II. Churchill was the Prime Minister during the war, and his speeches were greatly inspirational not only for the British people, but also for the Allied Forces who fought during the war. He was another man who wanted something, and didn't stop until he achieved it. "
This second picture is soon ripped off the wall and dropped to the floor, as the young man watches it fall. He steps toward the third and final picture. He stands beside it and looks at it, then at the camera once again.
" Ah, here is another man you'll all recognise. This is Nelson Mandela, a former South African President. Before being elected as the South African President, Mandela fought to end racial segregation, and spent twenty seven years in prison for his cause. After release from prison, Mandela helped South Africa towards a multi-racial democracy. Mandela has received much praise for what he did, even from his former opponents. He is yet another man who wanted change, and stopped at nothing to get what he wanted. "
The third picture faces the same fate that the first two did, being ripped off the wall and dropped to the floor. The young man looks at the three piles of paper in turn, then turns back to the camera to introduce himself and explain his reasons for joining NCW. Strangely, the man only speaks of himself in third person.
" All three of the men I just spoke about did their bit to change things for the better, but they are the past. Sebastian Slone is here, and Sebastian Slone is the future. NCW needs a savior. One man who can change things for the better. Sebastian Slone is that man, and he will stop at nothing to make NCW a better place. With his signing, Slone has already taken the first of many steps toward achieving his goal. The next steps will be to beat all the people Slone doesn't think cut the mustard. I have my first match against a young man by the name of Trent Brown... "
Slone stops talking for a moment. He raises an eyebrow as he stares into the camera. He doesn't look impressed by his competition at Suspense.
" I have to ask, who the Hell is Trent Brown, and what were the NCW staff thinking when they booked Slone to face him at Suspense? First off, Suspense is the show that the likes of Jack Wilde, Bob the janitor, and all his janitorial buddies should be wrestling on. That's right, it's the show which should be filled with the has-beens and no-hopers. It's not the show that Slone should be wrestling on, especially in the opening match of the evening. Slone is a top quality performer, and Slone should be wrestling on Trauma or even Collision! "
Slone lets out a disappointed sigh.
" Instead though, Slone has been shoved onto Suspense, in the opener against some two bit punk named Trent Brown. So Slone once again has to ask a question, that question being is Trent Brown the best that NCW has to offer Slone, or the worst? "
Slone stands silent for a few seconds, as if he were waiting for a response to his question. He then goes on to answer it himself.
" Slone will tell you what he thinks of Trent Brown. Slone thinks Brown is one of many wrestlers who are holding this company down, and Slone thinks that by beating Brown comprehensively, Slone will have started cleansing NCW of the clingers on and the dead wood. That is Slone's goal, and he will stop at nothing to reach his goal. "
Slone lifts his arm and rolls the sleeve up using his other hand to reveal a solid gold watch. He looks at the time on the watch, then rolls down his sleeve again and looks at the camera for the final time.
" Slone is sorry to disappoint you all, but he has to go now as he has more important things to do. Let it be known though that Sebastian Slone, your savior, has finally arrived at NCW! "
With that, Slone turns away from the camera and walks toward the door he came through earlier. As he reaches the doorway and steps through it, the scene fades to black.
