"Mentally, Jimmy Zane is in a sad state...
I mean think about it. There are few people who have more complaints than Jimmy Zane. He's not being booked properly. He's not getting the title shots he deserves. He's not facing opponents that are in his league. Some people may be a bit more vocal. Some people, like Lance, even pay the price for their constant badgering of the staff. But Jimmy Zane can seemingly whine all day, even call out names and yet..
Nothing.
Sometimes I have to wonder why that is. Why he can get away with things like that, and yet Lance was fired on National television. A Hall of Famer, was fired, in front of twenty thousand fans who vehemently objected. Yet I recall a time when Jimmy Zane openly called the staff out on their decisions and yet, he was spared.
Amazing.
Anyway, I hope you've grown out of that. Or are prepared to grow in a hurry. Because I highly doubt after what just happened Chris is going to tolerate any more nonsense. And to think Lance didn't listen to me..."
(Falcon sat on the gym bench inside the massive Kane household. Angel had been unavailable, working hard to stay focused on his monumental task, so Falcon hadn't wanted to disturb him with this nonsense. That left few others. Chris had little experience in this field, but Spike would know.. right? Spike entered, Atreyu lagging behind him.)
Spike: Hey Kyle. Sorry for the wait..
Falcon: It's fine.. I need you to look at this and tell me what it means..
(He hands over the box. Spike removes the test and looks it over. His face turning into a look of puzzlement. He turns the test each which way, still unable to figure it out.)
Spike: I have no idea dude.. I'm going to ask River, alright?
Falcon: Sure.
(Spike left the room, leaving Falcon and Atreyu alone.)
Atreyu: So.. uhh how's it going?
Falcon: Fine.. what about you?
Atreyu: Fine.
(They were both lying. And they both knew it.)
Falcon: You look like you want to ask me something.
Atreyu: I kinda do.
Falcon: That's a part of why I'm here Wade. You want to know how to stick to your principles even in the times when you question them yourself.
Atreyu: Yes, kind of... well that might be it. What I want to know is what are we doing? With the whole Forgotten thing.
Falcon: (sigh) I don't know Wade. There's very little we can do. I had my time, Angel has his.. Gib is getting a chance. Guys like Ricky Johnson are back in contention.. we've done what we set out to do. I think it's time..
Atreyu: Time for what?
Falcon: Time for you.... to lead this company in a new direction...
Atreyu: I'm not sure if I can...
Falcon: Nobody ever is. But if you believe enough, if you stand firm like a tree planted on a river bank.. when the whole world is standing before you, clamoring for you to stand aside.. if you put your foot down enough to say 'No, you move.' Then everything will fall into place...
Atreyu: You think so?
Falcon: I know so...
(Spike came back into the room.)
Spike: She's not sure.... but she thinks it's positive.
"Sometimes...
I hate being right.
I prayed that I was wrong, really I did. I sat here in front of my computer, and so many times I wanted to click that little video link that would take me to the magical world of Jimmy Zane's Revelations. I fought it so hard, because I didn't want to be right. I didn't want everything anyone has ever said to be true. I didn't want to think that Rob Diamond of all people would be the one to have pointed out that the Punisher was, in fact, alive. We've all accepted the fact that Davey Boone is not among the dead, but then again.. not many people mourned him, the first or the fiftieth time. We all had a moment when we thought Mark Evil was dead, but that passed in a hurry. But the Punisher was different.. every time someone thought they saw him, he vanished like a ghost. He became like Tupac or Elvis, everyone always assuming he was dead, but in the back of their minds...
They had hope...
I'd love to start with the I told you so's and whatnot. But the truth is I didn't want to believe it. And now it seems after listening to your hatred fueled rant that I am going to get exactly what I want out of you because of it. I wanted the beast within the man to be let from it's cage, and that's exactly what you're promising me. I should be elated, but truth is... I'm undecided. I've heard the same argument a million times. Someone who's never beaten me is always promising it to be different, and that leads to a dead end road of panic. Rather than instinct..
You act on desperation.
Beating me doesn't guarantee success Jimmy. I'm sure it helps, but it's not a promise. Sure, I've pinned every World Champion this company has except Trent. Sure I've defeated all this companys hall of famers except Milo Holland. But there's still so much I haven't done. I've never been entered into Road to the Gold. Never stepped foot in the Coliseum. Aside from my titles my most impressive accomplishment is winning the first Warfare match, losing in an X Division tournament, and failing to save the Age of the Revolution. For all you think I represent, you're totally looking at it the wrong way. I can be beaten Jimmy.. but I cannot be killed. The winner of the Coliseum is immortal in name.. I am...
Immortal in life."
I stand at my fathers grave..
The man who told me to leave and never return..
The man who replaced me in his heart...
A man who died without so much as telling me...
Telling me he loved me...
Telling me he was proud...
Because he didn't care...
If the seperation of death is hard...
You should try apathy...

Well I can take you far away
