Act 1: Let Me Introduce Myself
The scene opens on the beautiful and lush Isle of the Gods. The crystal clear sparkled in the bright morning sun, while birds sand in the trees of the island. Sea gulls circled overhead, looking for their next meal, and the bright colored flowers were in full bloom with their scents filling the air. The sound of the private yacht is soon heard coming toward the private dock. Carly Robbins stood on the deck looking out at the crystal water, in search of the woman they had told her to go and interview. The yacht pulls up to the dock, and two ship hands leap off, to place the ropes around the moors. Carly Robbins and her camera man step off the yacht onto the dock and look around at the lush island that was before them.
Carly: Are you sure this is the right place?
Camera Man: We followed the instructions on the letter that was sent. Maybe Ms. Kane is running late.
Carly leans against the railing on the dock, and sighs, as a lone figure appears at the edge of the forest. It was Stacy. She walks up to Carly and smiles slightly, and bows.
Stacy: Forgive me for keeping you waiting Ms. Robbins.
Carly: It's ok. We just arrived a few minutes ago. Where is Ms. Kane?
Stacy: She's waiting for you at her private estate. If you'll follow me, I'll take you up there now.
Carly nods, as Stacy starts walking ahead of them. Carly and the camera man follow behind, taking in everything around them, wondering what they would truly be in for when they reach the estate. Carly walks up beside Stacy and smiles slightly, wondering what she could learn about the young woman's employer.
Carly: Can I ask you a few questions? I mean I just want to get an idea of what Ms. Kane is like.
Stacy: Ms. Kane is a wonderful woman that is a bit mysterious, and eccentric.
Carly: I see. Anything else I should know about her before I meet with her?
Stacy: Nothing really. She's pretty open, but just don't ask her anything "too" personal.
Carly: What do you mean by that?
Stacy: Just trust me.
Carly just stops in her tracks, as Stacy walks on ahead. They soon reach the estate, and Carly is taken back by what she sees. The house itself was done in what appeared to be a mix between a Roman and Egyptian style of homes. The alabaster columns glistened in the morning sun as they neared the house, and two large black basalt statues of Isis stood on either side of the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main entrance way.
Carly: Are you getting all this?
Camera Man: Yeah. This is something else.
Stacy just smiles to herself, as they walk through the main entrance of the large estate. The golden doors open, and two young servant girls bow to them as they pass into a long hallway lined with the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. They turn down another hallway, and there on the walls were pictures of Alexandra Kane. Carly looks at one of the pictures of Alexandra dressed in what appeared to be a Victorian era dress, with a dark haired man standing behind her, with his hand on her shoulder. Carly looks at the date seeing 1891 on the bronze plate below it.
Stacy: Ms. Robbins, this way please. Ms. Kane is waiting for you.
Carly nods, and follows Stacy down the hall a little ways to a set of doors. Stacy opens them revealing what appears to be outside. The sound of bird songs filled the air, as they entered the area. This was the indoor aviary, with no roof to confine the birds to one spot. A pure white peacock walks out in front of Carly and she stares at it, before it moves along once again. This woman was eccentric if nothing else Carly thought to herself. Stacy soon walks up to Cleo dressed in what appeared to be a robe done like that of a peacock's tail. She stands watching two colorful macaws that sat on of the tree branches, only to have Stacy walk up and tap her on the shoulder. She whispers something to Cleo, and she turns around looking at Carly and the cameraman that she had brought. Cleo nods, and walks toward them with the train of the robe dragging on the ground.
Cleo: Ms. Robbins, I'm so sorry that I didn't meet you at the dock personally.
Carly: It's fine. Your assistant was waiting for us. Can we begin the interview Ms. Kane?
Cleo: Of course. But please call me Cleo. Only my underlings call me Ms. Kane. We can start while we head to my study.
Cleo walks by her and waits for them at the door, with Stacy following behind.
Carly: Good. My first question is why would someone like you be interested in a career in the NCW considering you are one of the most exclusive Fashion Designers in the world?
Cleo: It's simple really. Sitting behind a big desk all day, drawing, and trying to design something that you know will go big gets boring after a while. I know Juiletta and Emma have both brought that fact up more than once and I have to say that I enjoy the pain and suffering that I bring to my opponents in the ring. I started in this business about 8 years ago, and I've been reminded of how odd it is for someone like me to be in the business.
Carly: Speaking of your opponents, what do you think of them, and what they have said about you over the last week?
Cleo smiles as she stops in her tracks in front of one of the statues that lined the hallway.
Cleo: My opponents are not the brightest bunch, that's for sure. Emma is drunk, Juiletta is a whore and insane, while Roxi... well I don't know a whole lot about her. I've seen her in a few matches and I have to say she's good, but not that good. As for what Juiletta and Emma have said about me has done nothing more than make me laugh. They don't know when to keep their mouths shut really.
Carly: So the whole thing of you being over 2000 years old isn't true then?
Cleo looks at her with a soft smile, and continues on down the hall with Carly following behind her.
Carly: Ms Ka... I mean Cleo you didn't answer my question. Is it true?
Cleo: To answer your question... yes. I have a very old soul if nothing else. But I thought you were here to talk about my match on Sunday night. As for Juiletta and Emma they can think what they want about me, but they should be really thinking about what is going to happen in our match. You see Ms. Robbins I'm not going to go down without a fight. Roxi is the only one that hasn't said anything to me, and it makes me wonder if she has realized it's not worth to step into the ring with us. But I just have one word for Roxi...
Carly: What might that be?
Cleo just looks at the camera as her dark eyes flash suddenly and with a smirk on her ruby red lips.
Cleo: Run! She's the only one that seems to have gotten the right idea.
Carly: Emma Danielson beat you and Juiletta last week in a triple threat match. Do you think you're ready to face her again?
Cleo just laughs as she looks at Carly.
Cleo: My dear Ms. Robbins of course I am. Emma is nothing to someone like me. She got the upper hand last week, and put me to the mat. This time she isn't going to be so lucky. I know all of her weaknesses, and her strengths, but this time she will be the one that is put down and out of the ring.
: What are your thoughts about Juiletta? I mean the last promo she did gave us all an idea of what happens after three days of getting wasted, and well...
Cleo: All I have to say is that at least she used protection. I mean do we really want another little brat of hers running around? She's not the best mother if you ask me. But that's neither here nor there. As an opponent she's not the best, but she does give me a challenge at times, but what does that matter after this week? I'll make sure the little whore is the first one out of the ring, leaving the strong to survive. Does she actually think that a three-day bender is going to have her prepared for our match on Sunday night? Hardly.
Carly nods as they continue down the long hallway. They turn down another corridor, and head toward a door that had the symbol of Eros on it.
Cleo smiles softly and pushes open the door, revealing a room filled with what appears to be body pillows, and beds, filled with pillows and soft carpeting. Cleo walks into the room as Carly looks around.
Cleo: Please come in. This is my quiet place when it's not... shall we say preoccupied.
Carly: It looks very comfortable. Sunday night is fast approaching, and yet the only one of your opponents that is even remotely ready is Emma. I mean there hasn't been a word from Roxi, and Juiletta is still on her binge. The question is are you for your match on Sunday night Cleo?
Cleo: Of course I'm ready. I've been looking forward to this match ever since I found out about it. Sunday night is going to be filled with blood, pain, and suffering, and all of it will be at my hands. I'm not going to back down from this fight, and I'm not scared of any of them. Emma thinks I'm going to kick my ass all over Memphis, but it's going to be the other way around this time. Emma is going to be put out, while I remain in the ring until the very end of it all. Emma's time has come. Juiletta is still b***ing and whining that she lost the match, but I don't care. Sunday night will be a repeat of what happened last time. Roxi has yet to say anything, but I know that she will fall as well, no matter what she does. The game is over and the war has begun, and I will be the last one standing after all is said and done.
Carly: Those are some strong words. Sunday night we'll see if you are right Cleo. It was a pleasure meeting you.
Cleo: And you as well. Stacy will show you the way out Ms. Robbins.
Stacy smiles and nods, as she motions for Carly and the cameraman to follow her, leaving Cleo alone once more.
Cleo: Juiletta, Roxi, Emma... I meant every word that I said to Ms. Robbins, and I intend on doing everything that I can to take all of you down, and wish you never stood in the ring with me after Sunday night is over. It is my time to shine, while the rest of you fall at my feet. I am the Queen of Kings, the Queen of the Nile, the Golden Goddess! I am Egypt! Bow to me! See you soon ladies.
Cleo just smiles as she leans back on the soft pillows in the middle of the room. She would face all three of them and wouldn't stop until she had won the match, and left the others battered, broken and bloodied at the end. She looks up at the ceiling that is done in very elaborate mosaic of the lovers of the Gods, with Eros looking on, revealing that this was the orgy room of the Golden Goddess. Cleo gets to her feet, and heads out of the room, to prepare for the grueling match that was yet to come, as the scene fades to black.
