The scene slowly opens up inside of Joe Everyman's locker room. Joe is sitting in the middle of the couch, with Scotty Callaway on his left, Chris Kahne on his right, and Maria Williams standing behind him with her arms crosses, a stern look on her face. Joe seems to be in deep thought as the camera rolls. After a few moments, Joe looks up at the camera.
Joe Everyman: Over my years as a professional wrestler, several times I have been on the cusp of many great accomplishments. So many times, I have been just fingertips away from getting something great. So many times, I have failed. And mixed between all of these, I have been a part of many great tag teams over my career. No Warning Shot, Echoes of Freedom, Age of the Revolution. On top of this, I had teamed with many great competitors as well. Jason Willis, Kevin Hardaway, Lance Ryan, Mark Evil, Trent Helms, Angel, Philip Burns, and these two men, Chris Kahne and Scotty Callaway. And yet, even with all of these great names by my side, I have never captured tag team gold. No matter what promotion I was a part of. No matter what company I was fighting in. No matter what, I was always cut short by the end. By the time I was in the ring with whatever team held the championships, it was like it was almost already over. These times are in my past...the future is now, and the future is bright.
With Joe's final word, Scotty, Chris and Maria all exit the room. Maria gives Joe a kiss on the cheek before leaving behind the other two. Joe stands up and focuses on the camera in front of him, a content look on his face.
Joe Everyman: Never more in my career than now, have I had this good of a shot at winning the nCw Tag Team Championship...and it's with the most unlikely of opponents. When Chris Diamond came up to me, and said that I would be teaming with Fergus Callaghan, I didn't know what to think. I couldn't tell if I was more angry or just plain confused. But after talking with his for a good while, he showed me the same thing I now see in Fergus. He sees the potential in him. Everyone who has ever been in his business can be great. Some of them have a certain power hidden in them. Fergus is a prime example of this. Everyone in this business is susceptible to one of two things. Either you're succeed...or you'll be thrown under the bus. Coming from a guy who has had both happen to his very often, I know how this feels. Every time I talk to Fergus, it's the same thing. That he is sick and tired of being thrown under the bus. He wants to show everyone his true potential, and show that he has what it takes to be successful in this company. No better time than this Sunday to show this.
Crossroads.
When a man comes upon the crossroads in his life, he has to decide which road to take. Three directions to choose. One could be right, all of them could be right. Or, maybe all of them lead to the same fate. I have come across decisions like this my entire career, and Fergus has finally come upon his first one. He can choose to be insignificant for the rest of his career, or he can follow me. Fergus is still a technical rookie in this company. With this, alot of the higher ups will frown upon him, saying he will never be as good as they are. I too am guilty of this from time to time. But Fergus is different. I can see it in him. I can already see this skill, this fortitude, this heart. He shares alot of qualities with me. And now, he's closer to a championship than he has even been before. This is almost the perfect setup to something great to happen with his career. But it is in his hands...not mine.
I say we are this close, because look at the teams we are facing at Crossroads. I won't go into the Motor City Mafia much, because why should I? Their time in nCw has been nothing more than marginal. They lost to Fergus and I on our debut match. They failed to amount to anything substantial last week in our match as well. Beating them will be a very easy task. Fergus and I won't have to focus any of our strength on them at all. They will be pushovers, just like they always have been.
But that brings us to Dirty Deal. For the life of me, I can't understand how these two guys are still tag team champions. They just run around and just make people feel bad. I have never seen a bunch of bigger racists than Curtis and Ron. They need to be put into a mental care facility or something. What they did this week was disrespectful and wrong. They beat up Jay Leno...even though I too am a proud member of Team Coco. And they crashed a party just because they thought what the people were doing was wrong. Not only did they break the first amendment, but they committed a fair amount of felonies too. I don't know how the **** they are suppost to get away with that. And to be honest, it really flipped a switch in my head for this week. Dirty Deal consists of people who don't care about others. They are at the most bottom of the asshole barrel. And it's time that they are stopped for good.
They have no power when they are without their championships. Without the belts that they love so damn much, they are weak. They are helpless. They are despicable people who should be put in jail. And these may seem like harsh words coming from me, but I have known Dirty Deal for alot longer than anybody else in his match. When I started my wrestling career, the two biggest tag teams in the world were The Holland Brothers...and Dirty Deal. Even in XHF, they were ruining everything. Them and all of their little buddies, destroyed the tag team division. Well, no longer will I stand for this. So many promotions have horrible tag team divisions, because none of the new teams are willing to stand up against the dominating team. This time will be different. This time, Dirty Deal won't be able to cheat their way out. This is a triple threat tag team match. That means there are no disqualifications. Anything goes. That puts the game right into Fergus and I's hands. We have both seen how Dirty Deal fights in matches like this. We watch them happen all the time. But I can always guarantee that they haven't watched us in matches like this. And believe me...they won't see what's coming.
This Sunday at Crossroads, the tag team legacy of Dirty Deal will be put to rest. Long have I strive to defeat them. So many points in my career, Dirty Deal has shown up and blocked me back down. This will not happen again. Dirty Deal lost to my team in their debut match here in nCw. It's only fate that it is I who takes their precious gold from them. They are powerless without their belts, and it will begin this Sunday. Fergus and I have decided our road. We have picked the road of glory, fame, and domination. Dirty Deal will go down the lonely road to nowhere. Dirty Deal can joke all they wish, they can make fun all they want. Because when it comes down to it, they don't hold a candle to Fergus or I. The Motor City Mafia is the same. They aren't anywhere near our league. A main-eventer, and a blue chipper rookie teaming together. Dirty Deal may have tag team experience on their side, but in the department of pure wrestling experience, I stand over them like I am a god...and they are mere mortals. This Sunday at Crossroads, new tag team champions will be crowded. Nobody will be able to stop Bad Company. Dirty Deal's reign of terror is finally coming to a close.
Joe smiles at the camera as the scene fades to a close.

I may not be perfect, but I've always been true
I may not be worthy in your eyes
Climb up from the bottom for the last time
The last one, the last one, the last time
If I was perfect, this would be easy
Either road's plausible, on both I could drown
I walk through the center with no rules to guide me
I realize it's difficult, but now I can see...
