Holy crap man...thats really sad.
Heath Ledger was a pretty damn cool actor, especially in one of my fave movies A Knights Tale (mainly because of Alan Tudyk though) but he was awesome in the Brothers Grimm.
Let's hope The Dark Knight is awesome, for his memory.

I said Damn when I heard about it watching G4 right when I got home. It's really F*cked up. He was great in every movie of his I've seen, and I KNOW that Dark Knight is gonna be badass...this just makes it like "The Crow" cuz his best performance will be seen postmortem.

I was chilling at work (Assistant manager at a Video Store) when I heard about it. In his honor we played A Knights Tale and 10 Things I hate about you. I also rented two of his flicks tonight as well. This is truly a tragedy.

As soon as I read it I knew it's be drugs.
That's what happens when you dope it up.

Actually, to bring everyone up to date on possibly not jumping to conclusions. The police, and family are saying that it may have been an accicental overdose on sleeping pills, or something of the like.

That's kind of naive.
Multi-millionaires overdose on sleeping pills all the time right? Like Chris Farley, Phoenix and so on?
I think it's nice he should go out in such a nice light.

Dude, I'm an animator. I know what it's like to be passionate about your job. Some nights, it's hard to sleep. I wouldn't believe more than what they've said in the autopsy.
It's hard to sleep, when you have a lot of work you did that day, are excited about the next day's work, and you know you need sleep. So taking an extra few Tylenol PM or another ambien just to get the "needed sleep" is really tempting. I know it seems like a cop out to some of you, but if you've ever spent nights wide awake after a good day, first time getting laid, whatever...you may know how that feels.

Yep, I agree wholeheartedly. I suffer from sleeping disorders and I know what it is like to think that one more pill won't hurt. That is why I dont take pills anymore, I suffer through. The sad thing is that everyone is always ready in today's society to point the finger and say that they know what happened. That someone offed themselves. Makes me kind of sick. Here is a young man, that had admitted in interviews that he didnt get a lot of sleep. He would take two pills and sleep for an hour. I do not think that is impossible that he just took too many pills hoping and needing sleep and it ended the way that it did. It's unfortunate. But seems like an accident to me.
