Act 1: Looking Ahead, not back
The scene opens on the dreary city of Birmingham Alabama. The sky was cast over with darkened clouds, threatening rain, but it didn't stop the tourists from wandering about, taking in the sights around them. Three familiar figures soon appear walking along the streets of Birmingham. We soon see Emma, Dibbler, and Europa passing by the local shops that lined the main street, making their way through the tourists that had stopped to look through the windows. Emma had a tough two weeks but now it was time to kick it up a notch. Europa had made a few calls and now they were on their way to Gold's Gym to start training for her next match. They soon arrive at the large gym, and Emma just stares up at it, as Europa knocks on the glass door. A young dark haired man walks up to the door and unlocks it smiling all the while. This was the "Super Star" Johnny Star, one of Europa's close friends from back in the day. Europa walks by Johnny as he spots Emma, and smiles.
Johnny: Welcome to Gold's Gym. Europa told me that you have a match this week...
He looks at Emma, as she smiles softly, feeling a little bit uncomfortable.
Emma: Yes?
Johnny: Now I recognize you. You're Edmund English's daughter. I was a big fan of his when I was younger, well actually until he retired that is.
Emma: It's always good to meet a fan of my family. He taught me everything I know really. But since he's been retired, he and my mother have been living the quiet life.
Johnny: You mean the Lovely Lydia? Now I know where you get your good looks from.
Emma: Thank you. That's very flattering.
Europa: Hey lover boy, if you don't mind Emma needs to get some training in for her match this week.
Johnny: Sure thing. What type of match?
Dibbler: Fatal four way. Two of her opponents she's never faced before, but she's faced the other last week.
Europa: I know between you and I Johnny, we can have her ready for her match this week.
Emma: Anything that you can teach me would be great. I mean one of my opponents is a real slag, another is a future cultist, and the other is riding on her husbands coat tails, as my father would say.
Johnny: Sound like real winners don't they?
Europa: Yeah. C'mon Emma, lets get started.
Emma heads to a treadmill and turns it on, and begins to run slightly. It speeds up and Emma keeps up without any trouble.
Emma: Lets look at Megan Kane, she has never stepped into a ring before, and yet she thinks that she can stand against someone like me. Megan should have started off in an easier match this one. Was management crazy when they said oh lets put her against someone that has been in the ring before and see what happens?
Dibbler: Don't underestimate her Emma. She has been trained by her husband, and he's not that bad of a competitor. He probably taught her everything she knows.
Europa: Of course the fact that she called you a bad gimmick out of late night BBC Television, doesn't mean anything huh?
Emma looks at Europa out of the corner of her eye and smirks slightly.
Emma: At least I've gotten a shot at the Women's Title. She's just starting out, and yet she'll never make as far as I did, not without getting by me, and a few others that would love to see her pretty little face on the canvas that is.
Johnny: That's the spirit. I see even a couple of losses haven't slowed you down.
Emma: Not at all. My father was right, you can't win them all. I only have three losses against me, but I'm not going to keep going that way. This week I'm going to walk out of that ring with another win.
Dibbler: Just remember to watch your back out there. Ayla will be after you more than likely, especially with her being friends with that Cleopatra. Who knows what she's been teaching Ayla.
Emma: True. But I think she's going to be my biggest threat really. Her mind seems like it's already starting to be taken over by Cleo's way of thinking.
Dibbler: Indeed. Once they start down that path her followers would do anything for that woman. Ayla is going to be one of your tougher opponents this week I think.
Johnny: She sounds like she's been mind f***ed! That's never good.
Emma hits a few buttons on the treadmill and starts to slow down to a walk. She soon slides off of the back of the treadmill, and they head to a small ring in the back area. Emma smiles as she climbs in, as Johnny slides in the ring behind her. Johnny smiles as Emma removes the British Flag hoodie that she was wearing, and tosses it aside.
Europa: She's probably been f***ed in more ways that one. At least this week she doesn't have Cleo with her in the ring.
Emma: You're right. It's a really good thing that she's not. The two of them are crazed when they are a team, but I have a chance against Ayla alone. I'm not going to bow down to a woman that is sixes and sevens. Besides Ayla is just another wannabe herself, it's not the other way around. I think she forgets that I'm the only one of the Diva's that has stood against Zelda for that title. Ayla is going to see the truth and the light when I'm done with her. I'm going to be the one standing over her in the middle of the ring, with another win under me, while she is left to wonder why she lost.
Europa: That's the kind of thinking you have to have this week Emma. You have to watch your back, and try to take at least one of them out... and Ayla is your best bet.
Johnny: It's always the crazies that are the toughest to take down. C'mon I'll go a few rounds with you, just to see how tough you are.
Emma just nods, and the two of them start to circle each other. They lock up and Emma manages to get the upper hand hitting a german suplex sending Johnny to the mat. He gets to his feet after a few seconds, hitting Emma with a drop kick sending her to the mat, before going to the top, hitting a moonsault. He hits canvas, as Emma moves out of the way, and slowly gets to her feet.
Emma: The last one that I really have to address is Jamie Boone. I have never seen her in the ring, but I do know she was an announcer at one point and time. It's hard to believe that someone like that would even want to step into a ring knowing what could happen. Not to mention she'll sleep her way to the top or to get to the Women's Title at least.
Johnny: She sounds like someone I use to know.
Johnny hits Emma with a spear sending her to the corner. He goes to hit another spear but Emma catches him and turns it on him a hard right punch to the face, sending him reeling backward.
Dibbler: Ouch. That a girl Emma. Keep it coming!
Europa: Nice right. Take it to him Emma.
Johnny shakes his head, trying to get his senses back, as Emma comes at him with a drop kick. He flips her over the rope, and smiles hitting her with a hard elbow sending her to the floor. She slowly gets to her feet, only to see Johnny coming at her through the ropes. She moves just in time and grabs his foot as he lands, taking him down to the floor, before heading back into the ring.
Johnny: You got some good moves there Emma, but I'm not ready to give up yet.
Emma: Neither am I. Get back into the ring, and I'll show you how good I am.
He climbs back into the ring, and Emma just smiles signaling for London Calling. She hits it, and puts Johnny to the mat, as Europa slides into the ring, and counts 1...2...3. Emma gets to her feet, and extends her hand to Johnny, helping to his feet.
Johnny: Damn... you're good. But why don't we keep going just to make sure that you're really ready to face your opponents this week?
Emma: Sounds good. So you know someone like Jamie Boone huh?
Johnny: Yeah. She was an ex porn star, that I taught how to wrestle, and she was good, but she got to big headed, and she lost sight of what was really important. She would step in the ring, and always say that she was better than everybody, only to have her ass handed to her almost every time.
Emma: Jamie Boone thinks she's so high and mighty, and yet I know that she has never stepped into a ring before, and yet she thinks that she can stand against all of us? C'mon she's one of those people that think if she spreads her legs for everyone she's going to get somewhere in life. Boy is she wrong.
Johnny: Yep, just like Jenna. That was her solution for everything. Sleep with who ever she needed to, to get where she needed.
Dibbler: I have to say she has a very different way of preparing for your match this week.
Europa: Yeah dancing on a pole for a grand total of 12 bucks!
Emma bursts into laughter, at the fact that Jamie Boone was a cheap whore like she had figured. Emma leans against the ropes and flips over them landing on the outside once again. She grabs a bottle of water and opens it, taking a small drink, before looking up at the camera, with sweat beads rolling down her face.
Emma: I hope the three of you know what you're doing when you stand in the ring against me this week. I'm going to be ready to take you all down, no matter what it takes. Bring everything that you have to the ring ladies, because I know I will, and I will stand my ground until I fall, which won't happen. You see with this little extra training, and everything, I know that I'll be able to face all of you and take the win for myself, while the rest of you are out on the mat, and that's not a threat... It's a promise. The Queen is dead... Long live the Dutchess! Ta.
Emma just smiles, and walks away pouring the rest of the water over her head, heading back to the ring. She climbs into the ring, and the sparing match begins all over again, as the scene fades to black.
