Dr. Dream sat on a backwards chair. He had his arms crossed and a cold look crossed his face. The locker room seemed fairly empty and was seemingly lit blue.
"Dave, Dave, Dave. You disappoint me. Suspense is tomorrow, and I haven't diddly from you. Not a peep of this or that. You haven't even manned up enough to even mention the match. What happened to Epic Dave? Where did that ****y attitude of your go?"
Dr. Dream got up and folded the chair up. He set it aside and looked at the camera, still somewhat irate. He then cracked his neck and then shook his head.
"I'll tell you what Dave. If you don't want to participate, I'll make it easy on you. When the bell rings, I'll give you the Nightmare and be done with it. Up, down, done. What more, after that, I'll just roll you out of the ring and you can get counted out."
The large wrestler turned to walk away but stopped. He didn't even make it four feet before he turned around and smirked. He raised and dropped his arms and slowly made his way back over.
"On second thought, no. I didn't get ready for this match just to let you walk away. No, tomorrow I'm gonna put you to sleep after one of the most savage beatings of your life. Maybe it'll remind you to keep your mind on the ball from now on."
The Surgical Sandman looked at the camera and shook his head. His hands went to his waist and he seemed almost disgusted.
"I can understand the whole silent and stoic thing. I can even understand fear, if that's why your not speaking up. What I don't understand is why you think that your special. We all get paid to do the job. The job is to entertain the fans, and while I might not care as much as some of the roster, I care enough to know when you're dropping the ball. If you're gonna mope about and hide, find a desk job, or be a dentist."
Dr. Dream paused and the lights started to dim until all that was lit up was him and the locker he was standing next to. He reached to it and pulled the name plate off of it. He dropped it on the floor and looked at the camera.
"I hope you sleep well tonight Dave. You won't tomorrow."
The camera looked down at the name plate. 'David Epic' could be read for a brief second and then everything faded away and that was that.
