Chad lights is seen standing by in front of a large "NCW" sign, he raises the mic to his lips and starts his usual ****
"Ladies and gentleman my guest at this time faced David Epic this friday night on suspense, he is Jason Evans.."
Jason Evans steps into screen, his long hair tied back and his eyes hidden under some black sunglasses.
"Jason after having some success here in NCW you've hit a bit of a snag in the last two weeks.."
Evans grabs the mic and shoves Chad lights back
"I am sick and tired of talk like that. When I first got here I knew I'd lose a few matches, it happens you can't stop it. I faced Mike Machado and I lost, I wear that on my own, same as the fourway last week. This week I face David Epic. I have no idea who this guy is but I take offense to the fact I went from main eventing Suspense to being put up against a debut guy...excuse me do I look like Hexx?...or mimic?..."
Chad lights shakes his head
"I guess Alex is right, if I want to get what I want, if I want to be noticed I have to have an ego about it. I have to know how good I am. And he's right, I am damn good, in fact there is no one in this company who is a better X-Division superstar than me...especially not that Paul Star who holds the belt..."
“He beat Andrew Jacobsen, and instantly the value of the belt and the entire division went down. But here I am the most dynamic and entertaining new superstar to walk into NCW. And the entire reason why I haven’t been looked at as a serious contender is simple. Nice guys finish last. And the sooner David Epic learns that the better...”
Chad looks a little disturbed by Jason’s behaviour
“The only way to get ahead in this business is to be a selfish egotistical prick. So that is exactly what I’m going to do. That X-Division belt would look so good around my waist, but the only way for me to get a shot at it is to beat as many X-Division guys I can, but instead of doing the logical thing and building the X-Division they put me against some six foot four meatball.....”
“David, I have nothing against you, I mean from the look of you you’re a bit of a wannabe, you look like you should be off staring in lame kids Disney movies or attempting to be the next big action hero in some big budget hollywood crap instead of being in the ring....”
“You’re facing one of the most intelligent superstars to ever step foot in the ring, I’ve tried being the nice guy, I’ve tried to be respectful and honourable. And it just doesn’t work. All the guys in the back, all the fans out in the arena, all the officials and match makers know nothing about respect and honor. So why should I expect them to be fair and just in the decisions they make?....”
Jason smirks and moves his blonde hair behind his ear, a cocky grin comes across his youthful face
“This Sunday you’re going to see a new Jason Evans...the real Jason Evans...I hope you’re all ready....cause I’m sick of being that nice guy who finishes last....”
Jason hands the mic back to Chad and smirks as the scene fades
