Along the same lines as the "How we all got started" thread, I wanted to hear about some of your failed characters. You know, people you created, had awesom gimmicks, or ideas, or even good rps, then realized after a couple weeks, or maybe months that you couldn't rp with them anymore, dropped them, and brought back your old stand by. I've got a couple, and I'll list them when I come home for lunch.

The Overlord
A severely satanic Ministry Undertaker who died after being shot by Spike Kane and the runt of the Holland litter, Fox Holland, in the chest, never had an official match...a ressurrection was twice attempted but also was an epic fail both times...

I've got a few. Alex Stone got a short run but didn't really have any character at all... Conrad Jones was another one, he was originally supposed to be some kind of surfer type character.. but then I used him as Milo's Acolyte for a bit but he never actually got a match so we took the name and used it as the sicko who ran 'the orphanage' which was actually a lot closer to his original original character of a guy who trained wrestlers who did great things but never actualyl went for it himself.
But my worst character... the most epic failure was Fox Holland. Supposed to be the eldest of the three and the strongest and generally best, he was supposed to come along and sort out Milo after he took a manic turn... that never happened so I brought him along to avenge Milo's first 'death'. My attitude screwed up the angle and he got relegated to a hobo who eats out of the Hollands' trash and just calls himself a Holland. Basically Fox was supposed to be as Dave is now really.

That's awesome, Fox Holland. Here's mine.
Natas Sutef. He was suuposed to be like Lestat from the movie "Interview with the Vampire," but a wrestler. Most of my rp's with him were about stalking my next opponent, and then attempting to feed on them. Over all it was a success. Natas never lost a match, but after about a month and a hlaf the rp's became repetative. I couldn't think of any new direction's for him, so he just faded off. I was going to bring him back in PWW in a non wrestling role. My character Ed had weasled his way into a managment postion in PWW because the guy he replaced "disappeared." The angle was going to end with Natas having abducted him at Ed's request. Never happened.
The Reaper. Undertaker rip, never had a match. Period, not even any good angle attempts. Brought him to PWW twice, and twice he was a bench warmer.
A short lived Canadian wrestler, that I can't remember the name of. He was Bret Hart. Plain and simple. Also never lost with him. I was going to make him a glorified mid carder. But I got bored, and dropped him.
The Fallen. An Angel rip off. Not sure why I made him, insted of just using Angel. He won a world title in some e-fed, can't remember the name. He was exactly the same as Angel, except he was way darker.
Well that's all the ones I can remember.

People may laugh at this one but unknowingly I created a character called Jason Donovan, problem is I never knew that their was a singer called that. Rped a couple of weeks with him in another fed when someone said isn't he a real life singer...I check up and low and behold he is. That week I drop the character. His pic base btw was Evan Karagias aka 3 Count member...lol
My other failed character was the Giant Kevin Storm. Problem I had with him was being a Giant i felt so restricted in what I could say and do. I dropped him within a couple of weeks of having problems on taking him forwards.
Other than those two failures Jesse was my first character and is three years old this august. Troy Trinidad was pretty successful but for now he is retired and he did work. Lionheart is doing pretty well in another fed as well. Enjoy playing that character lot different from Jesse. So I have two opposites one good guy, one bad guy, kind abalances itself out really.

"The Acid" Donny Newstead.
He was supposed to be this dark character who quit school at sixteen to become a musician. But he went down the route of dark Hollywood and got into drugs, alcohol, and party hard lifestyle.
Still not completely free of his addictions he would become a wrestler with a dark past, some of wich he can't even remember.
I figured it would be good but I just could never get the hang of it. Maybe someday though.

Oh to add to the Jason Donovan embarrassment of mine. I still have the sig take a look; I'm actually having to hold back the laughter at how stupid I was requesting a sig for a character with such a name. Pic base is ok but character name dreadful...anyway feel free to laugh

"The War Machine" Travis Smith. He was a badass Brock Lesnar rip. In fact, I won the GWC TV Title in my debut as him. Went about 10-0 with him in GWC but then my interest in him just went down the drain.

I had Stahly, basically me with my cousin's nickname...I had him kill himself since he totally sucked.
There was also that two week char Orrick Riker. I never got a real chance to use him, so his failure was more or less the fed closing right away.
I didn't really have failed chars besides those two. No matter how many times I retire DP or resurrect his dead wife...or throw Bitchcakes McPhee into a super hero costume or Fate into some nightmare...those are the only two I failed at.

LOL Jesse used Evan Karagias! That's awesome.
I had three.
Shatter - a superhero/comic relief type gimmick, I just used him for comedy, and It just didn't work out into a major type of character. He was too goofy to be taken seriously.
"The Russian Express" Alexi Kruschev - I found out how hard it was to roleplay with a character that didn't talk. Alexi only spoke in Russian. I had his manager speak all the dialog.
"The Wrestling Trillogy" Anthony Hunter - A character which was interesting to think about, like Steve Corino was against hardcore wrestling in ECW, Hunter was against "sports-entertainment" and a wrestling purist. He died when the fed closed.
And Angel - Lestat was from "Queen of the Damned" no "Interview with the Vampire" I assume you already knew that.

I think you'll find Tom Cruise would like to argue that point.

Ok the first one was The Crippler. He was basically Taz with a bunch of submission holds and was a complete epic fail.
Another one that I would love to bring back is Chase Storm. Basically your rich stuck up asshole.

Ricky, Tom Cruise played Lestat first in "Interview with the Vampire." And he played it much better than whats his face. Failed characters are the ****. We should start a crappy B show with one of our failed characters each... They can fight for the World Jobber title.
