Act 1: Waiting
The scene opens on the beautiful Isle of the Gods. The sun was setting over the crystal blue water, casting beautiful blues, pinks, and purples over the island. A lone dock stretched out over the water, as a gate way to the world beyond. The torches that lined the dock were lit, and blew gently in a light breeze that blew in from the ocean. The lone lighthouse that was on the tip of the Island glowed brightly, directing ships around the reef that surrounded the island, while the last few seagulls circled for one last meal of the evening. The frogs, and crickets begin to sing their beautiful songs, filling the air with a lovely tune to those that would listen. A lone figure soon appears walking along in bare feet along the wooden dock. We soon see that it is Cleo, dressed in a simple outfit of a white and golden toga, trimmed with a golden belt that hung loosely from her hips. Her hair blew around her face in the breeze that was picking up, but she just smiled, as she got to the end of the dock, and leaned against the railing looking out into the darkening water.
Cleo: Zelda do you really think that I'm frightened of you? Do you really think that you can even stand against someone like me that has seen superstars come and go, titles falling into my hands, and keeping them longer than anyone. Your time is up as Champion Zelda. To tell you the truth Zelda I would have faced you alone considering I have taken down tougher opponents then you in my career. Men and women have fallen at my feet, and I've walked away from them all.
She looks out over the water, and smiles softly as she looks back at the camera, with her dark eyes catching the flames from one of the many torches that lined the docks. She had a look of evil about her as she turned slightly casting her shadow onto the water behind her.
Cleo: Zelda you think that I'm jealous of you? HA! Get over yourself! I have more than you could ever imagine. I run my own fashion company, loyal followers that would follow me to hell and back. Friends that have always been there for me, and family that have helped me through the good time and the bad. I've seen empires rise, only to see them fall once again. I've seen champions rise and fall, lose their sanity, or their lives. You are just another stepping stone for me to get over, and when I do Zelda your winning streak will come undone, and the title will be in my hands, while you look upon me, and wonder where you went wrong when you faced me.
On the horizon as the sun finally disappears, a silhouette of a yacht can be made out. Cleo smiles to herself, as it slowly approaches, making it's way through the coral reefs that protect the island from the outside world. Ayla would be here in a matter of minutes and then the planning would begin.
Cleo: Zelda you have no idea what to expect from me do you? You think that I'm going to back away from something like this? Hardly. I want that title in my hands, but my dear Ayla gets it then I will celebrate none the less. Ever since I came to the NCW everyone has told me that you are unbeatable, unstoppable, a force that shouldn't be messed with, well guess what? I don't give a damn! I've heard those type of speeches before, and every time they had been a joke. I know you'll put up a fight, and that's what I want. I want you to go down fighting Zelda! I don't want you to give up when you step into that ring, when you look upon your doom. I want to see what you have in way of skills, in way of heart and soul. But I just remember who the true superior one is in this match Zelda. I'll be the one standing over you in the end, laughing with the title in hand. After I beat you, do you really think anyone will remember your name? Or maybe they'll remember you as the woman that fell to the Golden Queen, in a match that you should have won.
Cleo begins to pace back and forth along the edge of the dock, as she stares out into the water once again. As the yacht drew closer she could make out the deck hands moving about on deck preparing everything to dock. Cleo just smiles softly as she stops pacing and stands at the edge of the dock.
Cleo: Have you ever heard of Kane Fashions Zelda? I have made a name for myself, and I did it when I was 18. As for you being the bright light against the so called Darkness think again. I am the Light of Life, and you are nothing to me. The only reason I consider you a threat right now, is because you stand in my way of getting what I want, and I will not be stopped. Zelda your legacy will fade away just like so many champions, only to be forgotten by those that gave your shot, and the chance to even step up against someone like me. My legacy will always remain, all you have to do is look around you and you will see me everywhere.
Cleo sits on the edge of the dock, as the yacht draws ever closer. Her slender feet dangle in the darkened water, and smiles softly, as she feels the little fish nibbling at her toes. She always loved this time of day. It was peaceful, and quiet, with the songs of the crickets and frogs filling the air, while the first star of the night appeared. The North Star, and Venus shimmered in the sky, as she looked up, letting their light be cast upon her. The moon was starting to rise, full and round, filling the night sky with it's precious light.
Cleo: Sunday night Zelda, I hope you are ready to face the truth about what is going to happen. I'll be the one that walks away with the Women's Title slung over my shoulder, while you are lying in the ring, bleeding, beaten, and battered. I'm not going to go easy on you, nor will I stop when that bell sounds. I'm going to make you beg for death, but I will not let it come. I want you to live knowing that I have the Women's Title on my shoulder, and that you lost to your superior. I am the Golden Goddess, the Queen of Kings, bow to me for I am Egypt!
Her eyes seem to flash with a bright light, and she smiles, getting to her feet. The yacht soon arrives at the dock, and the ropes are tied to the dock, and the engine is turned off. Ayla walks down the gangplank, and Cleo smiles as she hugs Ayla, and kisses her on each cheek before the two of them start up the dock, and onto the path that would lead them up the estate as the scene fades to black.
Act 2: Movie Night and a Serious Discussion
The scene soon reopens on Cleo and Ayla sitting in the vast living room, on one of the soft cushioned couches. Servants were serving them fresh fruits, as well as pouring wine that had been brought up from the wine cellar. This was a perfect night, and no one could interrupt. Ayla had left everyone back on the mainland, as instructed, and Cleo was thrilled.
Ayla: I love coming here. It's so relaxing.
Cleo: I know it is. That's why I asked you here. You need to relax before our match, and...
Ayla: What?
Cleo: We have much to discuss before our match on Sunday. I want you to know, that whatever happens in that ring between us Sunday night, it's not personal, it's just business. I don't want to have to hurt you but I will if you stand in my way to get that title.
Ayla: I know Cleo. I'm not going to back down either. I mean I do have a chance to get the title for you my Goddess.
Cleo: I know. If you do win the title I will be very happy, and I will celebrate the fact that one of my most loyal friends has the title in their hands. When we get into the ring though, I want you to focus on Roxi. She doesn't seem like she's going to be a very big threat this time around. Her mid is elsewhere right now, and that's the perfect time to strike my dear.
Ayla: I would be too, if my husband cheated on me.
Cleo just smiles at Ayla, with a sly look on her face.
Cleo: I wonder if she even knows the truth? If she does she'll be distraught and she'll be making mistakes all over that ring on Sunday night. She won't be able to keep focused on anything but her marriage going to pieces.
Ayla: What about Zelda? I mean she's not going to give up without a fight.
Cleo: Don't worry about Zelda, I'll be taking care of her myself. As long as one of us pins someone, we will have the title. I don't want to face you if I can help it my sweet Ayla, but I will if I have to, and I know you will do that same.
Ayla: I know. Are we done?
Cleo: I think so. I mean we both know if push comes to shove that we will face each other to get the title, but hopefully it won't, and that's all that matters Ayla.
Ayla: So what do you want to do?
Cleo's mind raced, but the thoughts that she had were hot, and very erotic. She shook her head, and leans back against the couch, and shrugs.
Cleo: I don't know really. What do you have in that big there?
Ayla: Movies... I brought some horror flicks, since we both like to make fun of them. I brought the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I thought you would get a kick out of it.
Cleo: Sounds good. Pop it in.
Cleo hits a button on a small remote and a large flat screen TV come out of the wall, with a built in DVD player underneath. Ayla pops in the disc, and sits back beside Cleo as it begins. As Cleo watches her mind wanders about days gone by, only to go back to the match on Sunday night.
Cleo:Voice Over Roxi will you be ready to face me on Sunday night, or will you be sitting in a corner crying your eyes out at the fact that he slept with another woman right under your nose? Roxi the only reason you are standing in the ring this Sunday is the fact that Ayla brought us to this point. But I will let you know now, you will fail, and fall at my feet just like Zelda will. This match is the most important matches that I have been in since coming to the NCW and I will not mess it up, and I will not have someone like you screw me out of what is rightfully mine. Ayla knows where she and I stand if it comes down to us fighting each other. We both know what is at stake, and we will do what we have to see that one of us gets the title away from Zelda.
Cleo turns her attention back to the movie that is on the screen and smiles softly thinking back to someone special in her past. He was an "artist" of sorts, and what she was seeing reminded her of him, and the way he was. She leans back in the seat, and closes her eyes, as one of the girls on the screen screams, as she dies suddenly from a rather large axe going through her. Cleo just smiles to herself, watching the movie as the scene fades to black.
