Last time on a Venom Promo…
” He turns and begins to walk towards the doors.
Before this match though, I’m going to need to learn that layout Doc, no way I’m giving you an advantage at all. Hey you…
His last words trail off as he exits the room and flags someone down”
And now, we continue where we left off…
Hey, you look like you work here.
Huh, oh yeah, hi. I am the handy man around here
Well nice to meet you, I’m Venom, and you are sir?
Venom…you’re not in a biker gang or anything are you?
No…
Ok, you’re not from Spider man are you because you look nothing like Troph…
No… this arena is being set up for pro wrestling isn’t it? You work for pro wrestling don’t you?
Yeah…
So I’m a pro wrestler! I’m sorry…didn’t mean to yell, and you are?
Oh, I’m the handy man, they call me Handy Havvy.
What?
Handy Havvy. I’m a handy man, and my name is Javier. Handy Havvy.
Ok…well Havvy, I’m new around here and I was looking for someone that could show me around, you know, maybe get me a little insight into the way things are in this Federation.
Sure, I could always use someone to talk to, just let me finish changing the light here and you can do the rest of my round here.
He sits down on a crate in the hallway as Handy Havvy grabs a ladder and walks down the hall to do his work. He looks into the camera and smirks.
You must’ve thought I wasn’t serious Doc. That I wouldn’t go and find a way to get the same advantage that you have, the advantage of knowledge. Not that you are smarter then me, because you are not, the knowledge of the ring that I don’t have. The knowledge of what is left under the ring or even around the ring that could be used as a weapon. Well Doc, I found a way to gain that knowledge too.
He pauses and reaches down and looks at his phone. He looks a bit perplexed as he reads, and then looks back up into the camera.
There is though, something more I should discuss other then you Doc. That is this text message I just received. The message says that Alex Jones is pulling out of the match because he has to have Surgery on his gall batter. Interesting, very interesting. It strikes me that just last week Alex was able to compete in the ring with absolutely no issues at all, but now that he has to face his past, and two men who had the greatest trouble with, he is all a sudden in pain and in need of surgery. I don’t want to call the man a blatant liar in public, and I truly hope the man is ok, but it seems odd that he hasn’t been seen or heard of other than his match since I showed up. Now too, he is suddenly out of commission as soon as he finds out he has to go up against me. I would call it a coincidence, but I don’t believe in them.
He then quickly stands up as he looks down the hall.
So Havvy, my new best friend, do you think you can show me the ring area? I have a big match coming up and I’d really like to get a first glimpse of what is up. You know, my first big Pay Per View match in a new place and all.
Ya know buddy, I’m not sure I can really show you, but if you were willing to escort me today, I could really use someone to talk to and I eventually have work to do around the ring.
Yeah man, no problem, I’d love to help. Why don’t you grab your tools and I’ll grab what I need out of my locker room and we’ll get going to the next site.
Right on.
Havvy smiles and grabs his tool box and heads down the hall calling back to him.
I’ll be right down here when you’re ready.
He waves to him and then turns back to the camera.
As you can see my chariot to knowledge awaits me. He may be a little bit dim, but I am sure he can get me what I need, so I’ll say my peace quickly.
I have a good friend of mine that is helping me to keep up here in this new place, he is sending me alerts of new promos, news flashes, and just the general happenings around here until I get caught up. What I hear is that we were finally graced by the presence of Severe Payne on television this week, and from what I hear, I don’t have much to worry about. It seems Mr. Payne is more worried about little Payne Junior joining the fold and doesn’t seem to be focused much at all on the task at hand, which of course is a chance at glory. His loss is my gain, because I’ve been working out and watching tape all week, and I am just a few hours of mingling with the help away from gaining the last bit of knowledge I lack. The only thing that is still perplexing me is Joe Everyman.
Joe, you had become some what of a big shot around here, all be it, in the smallest way possible, but you seemed to be still. So it bothers me a little that you would just up and disappear right before another shot to add your name to the nCw greats and not even grace us with your presence. Are you remembering the good old days and shaking in your boots at the thought of running in the ring with myself? Are you worried that now that one of the big dogs from you past is around no one will care about you anymore? You should be Joe, but you shouldn’t let that stop you. I want to hear from you Joe, and I want you to come out and take your beating like a man, instead of the baby you have always been in my eyes.
Now before I run, I of course have to address my old friend Doc. You can’t seem to get me out of your head Doc. You can’t seem to stop remembering me at my prime. Why is that? I know why Doc, I no why. It’s simple really Doc, it’s because you know that this is what I do. You’ve seen it time and time again and know that when the big lights are on all I do is shine like the star I am. So you can do everything you can. Visit your old **** hole hang outs to remind yourself that times have changes. You can run your interviews where you avoid the hard questions, but the fact of the matter is this. You don’t need to worry about Freakkee, Payne, or even Everyman, you need to worry about me.
Now if you’ll ecuse me, I’ve got some work to do.
He turns away from the camera and begins down the hall after Handy Havvy as the video rolls to an end.
