They say that experience is everything. If you have a great amount of experience with something, you tend to do better at it. And if you have a large lack of experience in a subject, you'll do horrible in it. For example, if you ride a bike for the first time, you'll more than likely fall and scrap your knee. But if you've been doing it for a long time, you can do all types of tricks and gain alot of speed without even thinking to yourself the dangers that could occur. Or maybe you're playing laser tag. If you've done it a hundred times, you'll be able to spring out on anyone and get them before they even notice you're there. This match this Sunday at Sovereign is a very good example of this.
For you see, I have myself set for a double advantage over the others in my match. I have the most experience at Sovereign, more than any other competitor in this match combined. Hell, the only man other than myself to have even competed at Sovereign is AJ Phoenix. You can call him Alex Jones all you want, but he'll always be the Phoenix to me. But so far, he has been in one match at Sovereign, while I have been in two. I know what it's like to compete at a big scale pay per view like this. Why do you ask? Because I was in the first ever nCw Coliseum match. I headlined the first ever Sovereign staple match. And at last year's pay per view, I was in a tag team match against Rob Diamond and Mike Honcho. And even though I didn't win either of these matches, the experience still was gained through them. It just shows you how hard it really is to win at a caliber needed for Sovereign.
And besides this big advantage, there is another big one on my shoulders. I am the only man in this match to have competed in a No Limits Ladder Match. Actually, to the best of my knowledge, I'm the only man still in nCw to have competed in that very match. I know how heart-wrenching and taxing this match can be. I know better than anyone. I had my only shot at the nCw Championship in that very match at Last Stand, almost two years ago. Even with it being that long ago, I still remember the looks on Lance, Spike, Trent and Davey's faces when I was taken out of the match completely, not only once, but twice, and still managed to return and turn the tides of the match. That shows my heart and determination. The same will need to be shown by the others in this match if they even think they have a chance at winning.
I may seem to be overconfident...but why shouldn't I? I have the biggest advantages a guy could ask for. Plus, have you really taken a look at the people in this match? There are some in this match that have truly proven themselves here or elsewhere. But there are some in this match that don't even deserve to be on Wired before the show even starts. These undeserving people, Freakke and Severe Payne, haven't done sh*t here in nCw to prove anything to me. And I've been here from the beginning, I know how these things go. I have the eyes to see greatness, but I can also see failure waiting to happen. And these two men are prime examples of it.
I've been around long enough to see wasted talent or wasted space when I see it. Freakke and Payne are two great examples. They haven't done a single thing in nCw worth noting. And yet, they are awarded a shot at a prestigious nCw championship. How do they of all people earn something like this? I have had to work my ass off for years to even be recognized as a champion, and yet, these two no names get a chance at the title pretty much handed to them for no cost. At least I have held the nCw Xtreme Championship. I held it proudly too. These two can barely even hold their own dicks before they start feeling ashamed. Why should I be worried about them at all? I'm pulling just as big of a blank as you are. I might have considered them real contenders if they had anything to actually show for competition. But they don't.
However, the other three in this match have already proven to me what they can do in and out of the ring. I have known them for a long time. But for now...let's start with Alex Jones. To me, he'll always be known as the Phoenix. He used to be a great World Champion, but has since fallen backwards in his career. He could very well be a nCw Hall of Famer by now, but he gave up on his career. He used to be the greatest wrestler I had ever seen. World champions would fear him. Women would want to be with him. Every fan would chant his name. 'AJ...AJ...AJ...AJ'. They would all stand and cheer to root on the legend of AJ Phoenix. But since, his career has taken a nose dive. I have been through the same things he is now. They are not easy to over come. AJ is one of those guys that you can just never tell if they will win or lose. He can pull out a big win whenever he needs it. He honestly, well, reminds me of myself. Many people have said the same things about me. Some even said I could have been the next AJ Phoenix. But my career had fallen apart from time to time...just as AJ's has done now. He is a very real threat, just like he has been over his whole career.
This being said, it brings us to the next real threat...Venom. It's about damn time that he showed up here in the big leagues. Venom, like AJ, is one of the greats. He doesn't pull out a win whenever he needs it, he just wins all the time instead. Alot of nCw fans and wrestlers have not seen the Venom that I have seen. I have seen the World champion Venom. I have seen the dominating tag team Venom. I have seen the Venom that will make you cry like a little b*tch by just looking at you. That's the Venom I want to show up at Sovereign this week. When he finally signed his contract to nCw, he had alot of hype. And so far, he's lived up to it. A big win in a match like this would propel him to what he's destined for. But I am talking like the old Joe Everyman would. The Joe from over three years ago. And with that, I am talking about the old Venom. I am a different man, and it seems like Venom is as well. He may be better, he may be worse. This match will be the true test of his character. And Venom, you will also see the Joe Everyman everyone else talks about. The one who was a three time National Champion, not the same one you chose to ridicule every single week those many years ago.
And with this, it brings me to the final man in this match...Doc. Never in my career have I been more excited and prepared to take on an old rival like I am for you, Doc.
In my entire career, I have had two World Heavyweight Championship shots. Only two. The latest one was for the nCw Championship, in the No Limits Ladder match. But my very first one was for the Vortex Xtreme Wrestling Championship...against Doc. I lost that match, needless to say. Doc was at the very top of his game back then. And after that match, after Doc has pinned me, he did something that shocked me. Because of my time in the company that shall not be named, my respect in people was non-existent. Nobody gave a f*ck about me at all. But after my match with Doc, I was proven differently. He helped me up, shook my hand and raised my hand is if I had won the match. A type of class that is almost never seen nowadays. That is the Doc I want to see in this match. But then again...that is the Doc I am most afraid of. That's the Doc that could very well win this match. That's the Doc that will run the table and go toe to toe against any of us. This is the Doc that I respect more than many of the wrestlers I have stepped into the ring with.
At Sovereign, all of us have a huge shot at something big. Whoever wins this match will to to Night to Remember and fight for the most bad ass of the hardcore titles, the nCw Xtreme Championship. A chance I haven't had in a very long time. I will not go down without a fight. I will win this match, and I will go onto A Night To Remember and win the nCw Xtreme Championship. I am more than alive, I am more than ready, and I am more extreme than any of you will ever be!

Freezin', rests his head on a pillow made of concrete, again.
Oh, feelin' maybe he'll see a little better set a days, ooh yeah
Oh hand out faces that he sees time again ain't that familiar, ooh yeah
Oh, dark grin he can't help when he's happy, looks insane ooh
Even flow, thoughts arrive like butterflies
Oh, he don't know so he chases them away-yeah
Oh, someday, yea, he'll begin his life again
Life again, Life again
