Act 1: Home Sweet Home
The scene opens on Jersey Shore New Jersey, in a very wealthy part of the area. The massive estates loom out from behind their high brick walls and cast iron gates, while the ancient willow trees hung over the street. It was a beautiful spring day and the air was warm. The sun was high in the bright blue sky, while birds flew in silence in search of their next meal. The sound of a car driving down the street is soon heard, and spotted. It was a black limo, with heavy tinted windows, and a license plate that read, MAFIOSO. The limo soon pulls up to one of the gates and a guard just leans toward the back window as it rolls down. The guard smiles as a slender hand is seen through the open window in the back and the limo is let in through the massive black iron gates. The driveway was shadowed by tall pine trees that lined each side of it, casting shadows onto the limo as it passed underneath. The lush grass was well manicured, and well kept, along the flowers that had just been planted a few days before. We soon see the massive estate come out of nowhere, looming over the front lawn. The limo soon pulls up in front of the estate, and stops. A young woman steps out of the back, with two young men following behind her. She looks up at the manor house and sighs. It had been a year since everything had gone wrong for her, and now it was time to take her rightful place once more.
Reno: Are you sure he's going to be home?
Rude: Where else would he be Reno?
Joanne: Don't worry, he’ll be here. I had surveillance done on him, and Blitzskin said he's been here for the last 2 days.
Rude: Well why don't we go and knock?
Joanne just smiles as she heads toward the front door. It was locked, but she just sighs, and picks up the doormat and holds up a key. The guys laugh as Joanne puts the key in the lock and turns the handle. He hadn't changed at all, and that was for the best. It wouldn't take anything to remove him from her seat of power. A couple of guards inside just nod as Joanne, Reno and Rude walk by heading toward the back of the house. The floors in the foyer were done in a black marble, with a large fountain that sat in the alcove of the horseshoe like staircase, with a golden statue, with a globe on it, with the words "THE WORLD IS YOURS" going around it.
Joanne smiles to herself, as they pass it heading toward the living room. It hadn't changed which was good for the one that now resided in the house. The flat screen HD TV still hung on the wall, with a thin cover of dust on it. Reno and Rude sit on the black leather sofa and turn on the TV, and bring out a small bag filled with dark green leaves. Joanne just sighs and walks on toward the back of the house. The walls were lined with pictures of family and friends, and even a few famous people that her father had known over the years while he was the Don of Jersey Shore. Joanne stops in front of one picture and smiles slightly as she looks at it. It was of a younger her, and a silver haired man with piercing green eyes in each other’s arms. She sighs, as she continues on down the hallway, thinking about the second chance that she was given when Mr. Fox had gotten in touch with her. She already had a match against Tara Fenix, and she wouldn’t disappoint the fans.
Joanne: I can't believe it's been almost two years since I stepped into a ring. Most of you are probably thinkin' she can't do half of what she use to, but think again. I've kept myself in shape, and still trained not knowin' if I would ever return to the ring or not. Mr. Fox has given me the second chance that I wanted, and now I have a match, my debut match against Tara Fenix. I'm not one to be taken lightly. I don't look like much, but I'm a lot tougher than most people think. Tara I don't know anythin' about you, but I'm not going to underestimate you in the ring, and I hope you'll do the same. I could stand here and spout off of about how much better I am then everyone around me, but that's not me. I play the game, and when I do, I go in that ring to win it, not to walk with nothin'. I've been through hell and back, I took down some big names in my time includin' du Lac, and faced many others that I can't recall. I take pride in my skills, and know what it takes to make it in this business. I'm a veteran of the ring of 8 years off and on, and my abilities will always surpass most of you.
She comes to the end of the hallway and to a large window that looked out over the estate's lush green lawn. She sees guards making their rounds keeping everything quiet, and an eye out for anything that was out of place.
Joanne: Friday night is a big deal to me Tara, and I will win the match no matter what it takes. I'm one of the best this company has to offer now, and I will not stop until I reach the top once again. Bring everythin' that you have to the ring Tara, and let me see what you can do against someone like me. I'm not afraid to bleed, or to use anythin' that is a bit unorthodox to take my opponents down. I always stand tall even when faced with heavy odds, but I'm addicted to the thrill of it all. The screamin' crowds, the bright lights, the sound of my music eruptin' over the speakers. Do you know what it's like to stand at the back of the entrance, hearin' the crowd’s cheer? Hardly. You've just begun, and have no idea what to expect from me.
Joanne turns to her left and there is an oak door, and she sighs slightly, not hearing anything on the other side. She knocks gently, and still nothing. Joanne shakes her head, and kicks the door in walking into the dimly lit office. The man that sat behind the desk, is startled and Joanne just smiles as she looks at him.
Joanne: Hello numb nuts!
Scarpaci: Sis? What are you doing here?
Joanne: Thought I would come and see you before the guys and I head to Georgia.
Scarpaci: Why in the hell are you goin' to Georgia?
Joanne: I joined the NCW, and I have a match this week. But the real reason I'm here is to take back what's rightfully mine.
Scarpaci: What? Dad didn't say anythin' about you comin' back.
Joanne: I know. But he did say to put two bullets in your head if you gave me a problem. But we're not goin' to have a problem are we?
Scarpaci: No... no... not at all.
Joanne: Good. Now get the f*** out of my chair.
Scarpaci looks down and sighs slightly, as Joanne folds her arms across her chest, and looks at him with narrowed eyes.
Scarpaci: I can't... I'm a little busy right now.
Joanne: Get up!
Joanne walks over to the desk, as Scarpaci moves the chair back, revealing a little blond woman no more than 20 under the desk. She gets to her feet and runs out of the office, as Joanne sighs and shakes her head. Joanne sits down in the high backed black leather chair, and smiles to herself, as Scarpaci zips up his pants only to pinch himself, cursing. Joanne laughs slightly, putting her feet up on the corner of the desk, as he sits on the edge.
Scarpaci: So the doctors have actually cleared you to wrestle again huh?
Joanne: Yeah. After 6 surgeries, and help from a friend, I was well enough to start trainin' again. I trained with Rude everyday after I was well enough.
Scarpaci: She doesn't know what she's in for then. What do you know about this Tara Fenix?
Joanne: Nothin'. That's where you come in. I need you to get some information about this one. If I send Reno and Rude, I know somethin' will go wrong.
Scarpaci: Fair enough. Speakin' of those two... where are they?
Meanwhile...
The scene changes to the living room where we find Reno and Rude still sitting on the black leather couch. A thin veil of smoke floats in the living room around where they sit, with a few open beer bottles littered around them. On the TV "Yo Gabba Gabba" plays, and the two of them just sit there watching what passes for children's television.
Rude: What's with the guy with orange afro?
Reno: I don't know dude... Damn kid's TV is weird.
Rude: Whoa!!! Reno, is that a a bright orange vibrator? I mean look at it.
The two of them burst out laughing, as they continue to watch the kids show, as Joanne and Scarpaci walk into the living room. Joanne coughs, as she walks through the smoke, and stands in front of the TV.
Reno: Oh **** dude... The boss is on the show.
Rude: Wait... How did she get into the TV?
Reno: It's magic man. I mean the orange afro dude has a magical boom box, so... there you go.
Rude: Man kid's TV is weird... wait, didn't you already say that?
Reno: I don't think... maybe... no... I didn't... did I?
Joanne just shakes her head, as she turns the TV off. The two of them were high, but it was just another normal day in her life. She still had a few days before her match against Tara Fenix, and she would be ready no matter what shape the guys were in.
Joanne: At least we're back where we belong. Welcome home boys, welcome home.
Joanne just leans against the couch as the two of them stare at the blank screen. She just smiles and walks off with Scarpaci following behind as the scene fades to black.
