hey guys, ive been debateing wether or not to post this but here i see 30 people who could help, ever since the release of sonic heros and the death of the voice actor for Dr.Eggman nintendo decided to sack the ENTIRE sonic the hedgehog voice team and replace them with the 4-Kids voice team. most noteable in this was Ryan Drummond. the voice of sonic, he tried to appeal and keep his job but becuase he diddn't live in New York he was turned down and replaced by Jason Griffith. and ever since then Sonic has turned into pure crap. not becuase of gameplay.. but becuase of Jason Griffith's voice. lol i think you went a little overboard! why would a voice in a video game make you care? eventually it would've changed sooner or later, especially the characters voice. well goodluck getting that guy his job back! and his voice back to being sonic the hedgehog lol...

it's understandable dude. don't think i'm trying to be an asshole, i just think it's funny that there's people out there pushing for some guy to come back just because of his voice.

let me put it this way Fox...Transformers the movie, Optimus Prime was voiced by the guy who did it in the cartoons...that sadly was the movie's saving grace, because it wasn't the Transformers movies...it was here's two teenage dirtbas and oh look transformers are fighting in the background movie.
Imagine for example...Seth Drabble all of a sudden was doing Homer Simpsons voice?
Discuss.
Bah...but yes, for me because I've been a fan since early childhood, Optiums Prime was a legendary hero and at the very least, they got the right guy to do the voice.

Dude, A Development team who has no idea how to make a good Sonic Game anymore, Killed Sonic, Not a Voice Actor.
Seriously, when was the last time there was a good Sonic Game?

Yes I have to say Sonic has lost the plot completely as a gaming franchise, it has become too camp and aimed at a much younger gamer nowadays I think...
The point about fans being passionate about voices is well justified, a prime example is Homer Simpson, if anyone other than Dan Castella was doing it these days, we (as Simpsons fanatics) would raise hell...which would probably give Fox more publicity than some of the stuff they currently put out but still...
I loved Transformers, I still do...I try to tune in when I can find it on...but the movie was absolute bollocks, yes there was mega hype about it and us fanatics were pumped for the legend that is Optimus Prime being retained as it was but that is the only good thing there was...
Bumblebee (my favourite) was not even the car he was supposed to be! There was no decent battles between the Decepticons and the Autobots across vast open landscapes as there had been in the original...and it is the little things like that that annoy us...
I'm also an avid Trekkie so if you think I'm being awkward now don't get me started on the flaws of the upcoming Star Trek XI...

Sega Genesis? i actually liked sonic adventure 1-2 and sonic heroes. other than that all others after genesis and CD sucked. i literally bought a dreamcast back in like 2001 for sonic adventure. |
