Might as well do it here, instead of flooding the Cbox for the entire night.
Let's just get to the meat and potatoes. Brock's win was impressive, but he is far from "improved". He got beat on the entire 1st round, barely able to defend himself, like the ref should of called it. And then he subbed a gassed Carwin. And it took awhile to fully lock it on.
There is no way in hell, Brock is gonna be able to do a ****ty arm triangle to Cain. And IMHO, this is Brock's true test. Cain has a great game, and tremendous KO power (he did KO Big Nog to get here)
Like i said on Deez's Facebook page, Brock won a ticket to an one sided ass kicking by Valasquez

I gotta go against you here, BJ. I think Brock's going to be able to scrape off the remaining rust in between now and whenever the hell he's got to take on Cain. I've got a feeling he's going to be able to pull it off.
Of course, I may just be rooting for the hometown boy (they've got Brock up on the wall in Williams Arena with Verne Gagne and a bunch of other All-Americans), but dammit, I can. LES-NAR! LES-NAR! NEXT BIG THING! NEXT BIG THING! NEXT BIG THING!

I just don't think Cain can match size with Brock. Brock's much bigger and if he can take it to the ground, I feel like he'll dominate.

Carwin gassed him self out in the first round and Brock is VERY lucky the ref didnt stop it. I have to download the rest of the card but from my understanding the as a whole the ppv was VERY good, I cant wait to see the Leben fight (love that kid) and the Harris KO again (that slam was SICK)

Then again, it was like the second one. And yes, Leben did a sickening job tonight. But, besides a fight almost breaking out between a Lesnar and a Carwin fan (Mind you, Greeley is about 10 miles away from where I was) the whole show was ****ing amazing. I, along with like 5 others, were cheering against a very anti-Lesnar crowd (As I said, Carwin was a local boy). But the place basically blew up when Carwin tapped. The whole show was f'n amazing, and the undercard was very good, as they usually are on pay per views.

First PPV I actually went to see, and it was pretty sweet. Three really good fights.
Yeah, I was sure Lesnar was done when Carwin was beating away at him. Ref didn't call it though, and Lesnar took advantage on a wiped out Carwin.
I expect a rematch.

Ref calls the match in a big main event fight between two guys who can obviously take beatings and the world riots. Since Lesnar escaped, he obviously wasn't beaten, which is the only time when a fight should be called. Carwin is obviously a heavy hitter who concentrates on overwhelming force to put guys down quickly, and Brock took advantage by riding it out for a while and it worked...
I still don't care...

Brock was just holding his hand up... he wasn't smartly defending himself, the ref stoppage could of gone either way.
Abd like I said Cain has the best well-rounded game ot of all of Brock's fights as well as great submission skills and scary KO power, yeah Brock can throw Cain to the ground, but is Brock good enough not to get caught in a submission again like he did against Mir?

The thing about Lesnar is he just pulls his wins out of no where some times. I've only seen him fight a few times and I missed last night because I was busy but it sounds a lot like the fight against Coture except he made him tap out instead of catch him with a big punch. Brock can take a beating and most of the UFC main event refs (look at Evans vs Rampage) won't stop a fight unless the guy isn't responding at all and that gives Brock a good chance to win any fight IMO.

Lesnar was still defending himself. Not well, but he was. He was pushing Carwin back with kicks and pie facing. Seemed to me like he was doing a rope-a-dope. Whether he meant to or not, I don't know. But I was rooting for him. The whole show was pretty good IMO. The Leben fight was pretty sweet too.
